Our first encounter with La Mine d'Or was an Estate appraisal done by Lawrence, one of the rings had damaged stones. Daniel and Jennifer were able to select the perfect replacement stones. We both had birthstones, diamonds replaced and repairs. We have no hesitation in reccomending this establishment with trustworthy, knowledgeable and professionals that made us feel like family. My fiancé bought my ring at La Mine d'Or (Halifax) and to say we are pleased with the entire experience would be an understatement. The ring is exquisite and perfect. I need it re-sized but didn't want to give it up right away, so Daniel assisted in making sure my needs were taken care of and I didn't lose the ring while still holding onto it for a few weeks. I’ve had a chain repaired here twice, both times with excellent results and customer service. I thought my inexpensive but sentimental chain would be beneath them, but they were above and beyond my expectations. I would certainly look to come back for other purchases / repairs.

I went to La Mine d’Or to look for my engagement/wedding ring. I thought I picked out exactly what I wanted on their website, and was simply going in store to try it on and get my size. Turns out I didn’t like that setting on my finger at all. Jennifer was very helpful and had me try on a ring I never would have picked - and it was “the” ring! Loved my experience with La Mine d'Or Halifax. I had 3 rings that needed work (including rebuilding the band of the promise ring my dad gave to my mom and reworking my engagement ring) and the price was very reasonable.
