A picture perfect beach popular with swimmers in summer and walkers, dog owners, and all who venture here. Parking is a pain - pay attention to the no parking signs or you will be ticketed and towed. No bathroom, lifeguard, garbage, or canteen facilities onsite - be mindful of your surroundings and do not leave garbage or dog poop in the beach, dunes, etc.

Beautiful beach! Clumps of seaweed often wash up but don’t let that deter you. Nice waves, occasionally see surfers. Good place to walk a dog. I visited during sunset hours to take portraits of a model - zero regrets.

Great beach to bring the family. The only down side is that there is a lot that holds about 10 cars. If it is busy you park to one side out the road. Definitely recommend this beach.

Beautiful beach for watching sunsets, walking and enjoying the fresh air. Only 20 kms away from Halifax. Parking can be limited!

Street parking only, so expect a bit of a walk. Even though it looked busy from the cars, there was tons of room on the beach and the water was nice and warm. Photos are on the boardwalk to the beach, the beach itself is a standard sand beach.

Beautiful beach. There are no public washrooms and very limited parking so be prepared to walk a bit. It's well worth the exercise. Also remember to leave with everything you came in with. This beach is very clean because of great people who care about clean safe places for kids and pets! Fun for the whole family!

Nice get-away spot. Not far away from the city. It might be challenging to park your car. There is no public washroom around

beautiful beach for a walk. no services. on a sunny day in the summer, you'll have to park quite a way down the road, but otherwise fine. The bridge and boardwalk have been repaired and improved

Not the warmest beach, but definitely one of the nicest around

πŸ‘πŸ‘ This place is great! The beach is sandy and expansive, dog friendly and the water's not too choppy. If you want a good walk, the beach extends a fair ways, changing to rocky and then changing back to sandy, with plenty of seashells to spot. The sea spray is refreshing and there's only a few patche...
