Do not buy anything from Here. Super overpriced. And menu descriptions not accurate at all. I ordered heartwood bowl, Manu said it comes with marinated tofu, rosted veg, sauce and rice. I had to ask for the tofu, and it wasn't even marinated it was just from the package and no flavour. Veg were undercooked. Spicy peanut sauce was neither spicy or tasty. Very disappointed. Had to wait almost 20min with no other customers. It was 15 dollars for this small take out container. Honestly do not go there.

Amazing service. Prices are typical for waterfront but it’s so great to have a healthy/vegan option there. The smoothies are refreshing on a hot day and the cook Manu is such a gentleman. Will definitely be back!

I ordered a Heartwood bowl with spicy peanut sauce. The billing personnel had no clue on whether they have noodles or not. Then she had to check with the kitchen which was run by a guy who looks tired, lack interest in serving people. The dish was a complete disaster. The veggies were simply undercooked with the pumpkins not even peeled. The peanut sauce was a disaster and the portion was too small for a $17 meal bowl. DO NOT ever visit this place unless you want to waste ur money and eat inedible food.

Every time I try to eat here the wait is ridiculously long for something simple like a wrap or a salad, with no one else in front of me in line. If you’re willing to wait at a food stall for 45 minutes for something that doesn’t require actual cooking, then this is your place - otherwise go elsewhere!

Service was very friendly, and my wife enjoyed her pad Thai dish.

Amazing little gem close by downtown Halifax!! Food was delicious, hot and served quickly!! I wish I weren't only visiting the maritimes otherwise I would be back in a heartbeat 😋

The food is nice but kind of slow and SO expensive for so little food! We got the hummus and veggies, pad thai, and a can drink and it came to over $40 after tax and tip. The pad thai had three little tofu cubes on top (so sad!) And the hummus and veggies was like a half ice cream scoop of hummus, and half chips with some very thinly sliced veggies.

Got the pad Thai and the noodles are not cooked and it’s more like a soup. Good flavour but very difficult to eat, especially with the wooden utensils provided. Not worth $20

The chickpea wrap was super tasty! Loved it, as well as the frozen blueberry lemonade and iced tea lemonade. The only thing that wasn’t great was the strawberry fields smoothie.

Went today for lunch and ordered the Heartwood bowl & a bean burrito with 3 drinks. We got our drinks right away and they were delicious but our food took over 45 mins. I think the only reason we got it was because we went back to ask why it was taking so long. The employee said it takes a while for the bean burrito but both items had not been served yet. When we got our food they were not good - the bowl was missing the tofu and it was flavourless. I also found a small hair in the noodles. I ended up asking for a refund and they were more than willing to process it. Go for the drinks but not for the food.

I've eaten here twice and each time has been so lack lustre and over priced. I have had the hummus and it tasted like sea water it was so salty. The pad Thai was so small, the noodles were not fully cooked and there wasn't any veggies in it. Don't waste your money.

I'm disappointed to say I will not be returning to your store. I come there occasionally with my wife. Unfortunately, I came to your store to ask for my son who is 6 if they could refill his water bottle. The gentleman said I'm. Sorry we don't do that. I was shocked. It was a hot day and I thought that you would refill a child's water bottle . I went to ice cream that was jam packed and in 5min with a smile My 6 year old son had water. Not sure what. your policy is.. But it needs to change. and also there were 2x where my wife and I ordered a 2 chic pea wraps that literally took 20 min to prepare. I didn't complain about that and yet we kept coming back because we enjoyed the food. But this broke the camel's back. It's water!

Ordered the Hummus & Veggies and the Strawberry Fields Forever smoothie. Hummus was plain and salty, smoothie was flavorless. However, the service was really good and the employees were really nice.

We have eaten here twice. Their vegan wraps are fantastic. Amazing flavours. The reasons I gave it 4 out of 5 are a) for 2 wraps and 2 bottles of water it was $35! Ouch! and b) when you pay there are big buttons for 15% tip, 20% and 25% (really, that much % for takeout?!) and the No Tip button is tiny. Guess what, I didn't tip, I don't mind giving a couple of dollars but their percentages are a bit cheeky.

So nice to have a fresh, healthy, and vegan option on the waterfront. If you're not in the mood for greasy takeout and want to enjoy an ice cream guilt-free after dinner, this is a great option.

We had one ice coffee and one ice lemonade and both were very watered down - almost lacking any flavour at all. But the server was very friendly and pleasant.

Had the Traditional Heartwood Bowl - found it was expensive ($15) for what you actually get (too much pasta, vegetables not fully cooked, little tofu and sauce). Tasted okay, but not great. Also took a long time to receive food.

🫤 Overall experience was not pleasant. This was recommended by my friend, so we thought to give it a try. Bartenders was fantastic, very professional and helpful all around, however, the waitress on the other side was completely different. Not only she forget to check on our table for about 35 minutes...
