Found this place when looking for a local brewery with flights of beer. We were at the Lawton drugs and literally just had to cross the street. It's beside Krave burger and is very unassuming, we actually walked right by moments before. Formally called Rock Bottom, in the basement of Your Father's Moustache, which shares the kitchen. On a sunny hot Saturday in June, there was no one else there and the woman serving said it was the first beer she'd poured that day - understandable since there's no patio or waterfront view, but the ambience and decor inside is welcoming and clean. The main brewery is located on the Dartmouth side and this location is busiest on Tuesdays for trivia night and sells a fair amount of cans to take home. Friendly service and decent beers. Nice to sit down in a comfortable spot and connect to the free WiFi.

Excellent beer (in glasses with funny sayings on them (think “dad jokes”), tasty food from the restaurant upstairs - recommend the potatchos), and very friendly service. And, this was the place that was recommended to us by two locals when we asked them for a place where the locals go for a pint one afternoon.

We went prior to latest lockdown in November to check out the revitalization of this space and were so impressed! The renovation makes for such a brighter more inviting space! Wonderful tasteful branding throughout. I don’t usually include pics of bathrooms but in this case I did because the men’s restroom is unique! Of course the beer is excellent and NL is what I would consider as one of the top 3 local breweries. Food was great too! We will be back!👍👍

Clean, comfortable, awesome place. Friendly staff, good beer selection. Don't over look this spot! It's easy to walk by, by accident as its just a simple sign and single door to enter!

For people wanting to check out the local micro breweries in the area, add this to the list. It's easily missed, because of how secluded it is, but well worth a visit.

Located in the basement below another establishment. Really ridiculously friendly and helpful staff. Great beer. Food menu is very small but excellent in terms of beer and a snack.

Nine Locks is a great place. They have a good selection of beer and vodka drinks. They also have some decent eats but the main deal is that, the staff are excellent. My friend and I go by; he much more than I. They are friendly and actually nice people; an interesting bunch. Have had interesting chats and lots of laughs. A good bunch downstairs! Cheers guys!

The service was good but the beer we ordered was lacking in anything exciting although we only had one so take that with a grain of salt. Give it a try and decide for yourself.

I would give this place a higher rating, the beer was cold the staff were friendly and it is a nice looking room. But it was near closing so I cannot give a fair review because I don't know what it is like when it is full of patrons and judge the atmosphere. All I can say is that I would like to go back and give it another chance

All of their draft beers are local made - great choices. Patio dining on top of roof is a bliss!

The service was great please don’t order the Fathom beer if you don't like bitter taste in your beer. If you see a lot of people the food is gonna take time and it’s mostly Thai food as they started it exclusively on 28th Oct 2023. Rest - go with your family and it’s should work out fine. Salute to our Kabayan’s I found them all over and were having fun.

Had to sample the Harvest Pumpkin Ale from Nine Locks and so dropped into their brew pub on Spring Garden just under My Fathers Moustache. They serve it with a lovely little rim of cane sugar and cinnamon and what a treat it was! To top it off we decided to have the two shrimp tacos as a little filler. I can’t rave about them enough! The chef at My Father’s Moustache makes the food for this brew pub and those tacos were just delicious. I don’t think I’ve had better shrimp in a long time. All around a 10 out of 10. Wait staff were all very nice and we picked up a few beer to take home. I’m anxious to try out the Blackberry Blonde.

🫤 Overall experience was not pleasant. This was recommended by my friend, so we thought to give it a try. Bartenders was fantastic, very professional and helpful all around, however, the waitress on the other side was completely different. Not only she forget to check on our table for about 35 minutes...
