We chose the Shipwreck room; this is the first escape room I was actually able to solve. It was so creative, and the puzzles were challenging. We had lots of fun, we'll definitely return soon! #teamwork

We had a great weekend! First we made Pirates Shipwreck. That was awesome. We are full of emotions. So authentic, smart and exciting. Next day we made Merlin’s room. Absolutely fantastic. Thanks for opportunity to take all our big family. Everyone enjoyed it.

The staff was super friendly n the Escape room was constant fun. We chose the Merlin room since we were celebrating my son's birthday n wizards r totally his thing. We finished the quest with 25 minutes to spare n it was non stop excitement. We're def going back to enjoy yet another room n challenge our skills once again. Thx for the great time!

My husband and I did the Hollywood bomb room and it has to be one of my favorite rooms (out of 100s I’ve done). It’s on the easier side for escape room pros for sure but I still needed about 2-3 hints (you get unlimited hints). It’s on the higher tech side of things and has a really cool ending!! I think we finished in about 30 min but I really enjoyed it. It is on the darker side so keep that in mind but you can for the most part see fine and they give you flashlights.

Me and my friend went to the Merlin room. The experience was truly amazing. The riddles are quite clear, even if we had to ask for a hint, it was still clear what we missed. Great stuff! The ambience is very picturesque and the design is fantastic! Great job!

This was a really unejoyable experience for me and my party and I highly recommend you consider else where. If you want an escape room experience and you are considering this place. Don't. For starters -They gave us dim flashlights and the whole room was dark, and worse of all both flashlights died before the 10 minute mark. How were we supposed to escape in the dark? I dont believe they wanted us too and it really took away from the experience. Secondly - there was one hint on the paper that was completely misleading and then the man said we have to figure it out. Speaking of hints the person there seemed annoyed when we asked for help and we would have to repeat or ask for help multiple times before he finally responded. Most of the times we had moved on and he would be trying to help us with a clue we already figure out. Aren't we supposed to be watched so they can know what part we are at? I'm not sure if this was a tactic to stall for time. But I felt like we had to force the associate to help us and it felt horrible to do so. Thirdly - The asthetic is supposed to be rustic but not the clues too. The clues on the map were not legible! Alot of the clues couldn't be seen due to the dark and due to the place being worn and when we asked for clarification on the clues the associate couldn't be bothered unless we asked 5 times. Overall communication was bad and the aesthetic was bad. The associate helping us was bad. The experience was bad. Not worth the money and I really wish we never went. If I could rate 0 stars I would

Staff was friendly and attentive. The room itself left a bit to be desired. We did Operation Saving Hollywood and found it to be easier than expected, especially considering it’s their hardest room. We managed to escape in just over 30 minutes utilizing three hints. Two of those hints were for things that should have been obvious, but weren’t well setup. While the staff was friendly and attentive, it seemed odd to have to describe where we were in the room when we needed hints.

My Boxroom experience was very good. I was a group of three and we enjoyed the Haunted Pirate Ship. I would recommend 3-4 people. The room was fun and the staff gave us unlimited hints which is a first for me. Great for a small group, but no more than 4 people to be worth the while. $30 per person is a little pricey, but I nice way to spend an hour for close family and friends.

We’ve done lot of escape games. This was down there with the worst. It was a waste of time and money. The “hardest” game was way too easy and nothing was cohesive.

We had a great time at Boxroom Escape Games. This was our first time trying an escape room. It was so much fun. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure.

Somehow my husband and I ended up in the Save Hollywood escape room during our anniversary weekend getaway. We were told that it was a 30% success rate. We had a great time. We managed to defuse the bomb and escape the room. I highly recommend this location. The staff are friendly and helpful. 5 stars rating. It was an amazing experience that we will always remember and brag about winning the game. Enjoy.

My family and I went to try escape room and we had a good time at this location. The puzzles were fun and we solved it. My only issues was with how dirty it was. It looks like no one has cleaned anything in a very long time, including the bathroom and floors. I’m going to try a different one next time.

We had a great experience at this escape room. We found this amazing place accidentally while walking in Hollywood Downtown. We saw nicely painted walls through the windows, some kind of a castle on the beach. As we were told on reception the lobby was painted by some local artist. That really made great atmosphere while waiting for our adventure in the lobby. My family of 4 made Operation Saving Hollywood room (the hardest one). We’ve done several rooms before in other states, but this one was the hardest for us. Anyway it was definitely good. The main thing that made it so great was the customer service and experience. Briona was involved during all the time we were in the room. She was great in giving clues and guiding my family during the room for we could feel ourselves like “yes, we can, we really can do this”. Especially I want to mention that the room and the riddles had a really exciting story. Because in other escape room we were doing just some one by one actions without meaning. But here I felt myself really involved in a good written thrilling story. I would highly recommend this place and if you have the same game master as we had be sure you’ll have a great time.

If you are not a big escape room person, you will be happy with this place. if you play regularly, this place is a disappointment. We did their hardest room of 4.5 difficult out of five, Operation Saving Hollywood, and we finished it in 30 minutes. Not a great value for $210 for us to play there. wish there was a little more to it.

We were so impressed last night! The room was amazing. We made Merlin’s castle. Great setup, really interactive perfectly working props, challenging clues, great authentic music. The room that we continued to discuss after ending. Honestly, I think the success of the room consists of 50% of the room set up and 50% of the game master’s work. Here everything was on the top level. We came a little bit early but the lady on reception was very nice and let us enter the room promptly. She was attentive to us during all the game. Sometimes I was stuck and she helped me a lot. The room was very challenging for me. And especially thank you for the place to sit in the room. It’s so rare! I definitely recommend this place in Hollywood. We will be back for Operation Saving Hollywood.

The BEST escape room i've been to yet! The staff makes it 10xs better. The puzzles were like no other escape room. My husband and I travel quite frequently so we try escape rooms wherever we end up and I can tell you I was not disappointed. The staff suggested the Haunted Pirate Shipwreck which I was very satisfied with and then we ended up doing the other two rooms that they had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

That was the best choice for our family’s weekend in Hollywood! Honestly I am not in the age of such pleasures. But my kids offered to spend the hottest time of the day in this escape room. We chose the easiest Merlin’s room. Oh my God! That was the real medieval castle! How did you do this, guys? The music was amazing! I just forgot who I am and where I am for an hour. Absolutely stunning! The clues are great. And it’s both easy and not so easy at the same time. Then we were lucky and Spy’s room was empty. Yes, we did it! We went to the second room. And we’ve done it before 6 minutes left. It was intellectual and smart and that’s why it was perfect for my age. The host Briona was amazing! From the beginning of our 2hour journey to the end we were treated like the best friends. Thank you. But the best thing was that we escaped the heat in this cool place. Two days passed and I’m still impressed. I wish there were more such places like this in Florida.

This was my first time to Boxroom and going to an actual escape room in general. Super fun, makes you actually have to think. Not super easy, but not very difficult either. I did the Haunted Pirate Shipwreck, very cool atmosphere. Will be going back to do the other rooms. Staff is very nice and friendly, they help you along the way if you need it.

It was truly an amazing experience. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed it especially since it wad our first escape room and they were fairly reasonably priced. If you’re a tourist or you live here and are looking for something to do with friends I would definitely recommend coming here.

My boyfriend and I just went and did the easiest escape room here, which was so much fun! This was my first time ever trying something like this and I was worried at first that I would overthink and freak out about being ‘stuck’ in a room. The lady that checked us in was so kind and made us feel so safe; we knew we were in good hands. The wizarding room was really fun and the perfect level of difficulty for our first escape room! We will definitely be going back and bringing friends with us to try the other rooms!!

It was really fun and very creative and stuck to its theme. We did the easy two room puzzle. I felt the first room possible to get through without hints. We needed hints on the second room, and even on hindsight, we could not have gotten it without the hints.

My daughter wanted to do an escape room with her friends for her birthday and chose this place. Picking BoxRoom was the best choice ever. She had a blast! We did the Merlin Escape room and from beginning to end was soo fun. This was our first time and we escaped with 18 min left from our time!!! The staff was exceptional and the unlimited clues helped alot. We will definitely come back.

Great and fun time... if you are in the South Florida area and need to experience an escape room in a downtown setting surrounded by many resturants to try afterwards, this is the place to plan your day or evening - highly recomended

We went here on our vacation to Florida, and we did the Merlin escape room. It was very fun! Briona the host was very kind and helpful during the game. If you’re thinking about coming here don’t think twice!

My family and I just did an escape room here and we loved it. We have done many escape rooms across the country and really enjoyed not only the atmosphere but our host. I wish I paid better attention to the shop operators name but huge kudos to his performance and help. He went above and beyond to make our experience amazing from initial phone call to inquire about the venue to checking out. He even made small hiccups we encountered with some of the equipment funny by being a little self depreciating and poking fun at my fiancé for her audible panic from a jump scare. Truly a wonderful experience and will definitely go again when back in town!

The escape room was solid, however, it was not so clear how to get started. Additionally, I personally enjoy escape rooms that require some level of athleticism which this escape room did not. However, the staff was very kind and it was a very fun time. I would recommend
