This is the end point of south beach in Miami. When you take the sea side walk this is the end point. It has got beautiful view of south beach and also amazing view of the downtown and Miami port. They are building one big path on the sea with rocks that’s in progress. Apart from that they already have one view point which is already built. There is also south pointe park where you have children playground and splash pad too make you cool. In the park there is small shop to get ice creams and other stuff. This is beautiful park and must visit if you are in a south beach.

South Pointe Park Pier offers a captivating experience at the southernmost tip of Miami Beach. The stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Miami skyline are breathtaking, especially during sunset. Strolling along the pier, you feel the gentle sea breeze and hear the soothing sounds of crashing waves. The pier is well-maintained and provides ample space for fishing or leisurely walks. It's a perfect spot for photography, relaxation, and connecting with nature. Whether you seek a serene escape or vibrant Miami vibes, South Pointe Park Pier delivers an unforgettable experience for locals and tourists alike.

Very picturesque location. Good sunset location. So many people walking up and down the path leading up to the pier. Even saw a dog park in one of the areas. There is public parking available at the entrance to the South Pointe Park.

Fantastic views from here of South Beach and Fischer Island. It's a short walk from both the beach and South Point Park. Probably one of my favorite things about South Beach. We came the week of Christmas and the weather was absolutely beautiful. 86 degrees and breezy. You couldn't ask for more beautiful weather to explore and take it the views from a place like this!

Great place for a walk by the beach, park or the boardwalk. Such amazing views especially during sunrise/sunsets. Can do a little fishing if you'd like! But so peaceful and tranquil. This park actually was remodeled and the new boardwalk is superb for the views. Watch out for the waves!

Great place to watch the cruise ships arriving and departing Port Miami. Nice little pier to walk on and plenty of places to sit along the walkway. Access to Miami Beach as well. Difficulty find a place to park on weekends.

This is one of my favorite places in Miami. I am a local here and still never get tired of coming here. It always feels refreshing with beautiful turquoise water views on both sides. Specially at late nights the calmness here gives my stressed mind a lot of peace. The sound of waves, sitting on the stones at the pier, watching the water n the sky, walking on the sand bare foot never gets old. Perfect night spot for couples to enjoy serenity. Be mindful about the parking situation. It's always full that's why I prefer coming here very late at night. Even though the pier closes early but u can still enjoy the parts even after the pier closes.

No need for an Uber if you're staying in South Beach. It only took me 20 minutes by bike from 1 Hotel, and it was a great way to get some exercise. The place offers a beautiful view of the entire South Beach, and you can see these big boats passing by. I highly recommend it for families with small kids who are interested in seeing the boats and there's also a small water park where kids can run around and play. Overall, it's a cool spot to take some beautiful pictures, go sightseeing, and stay on the move. I even rode my bike along the other side, following the boats. It was a delightful experience! Cheers, BN

Spectacular views with a peaceful breeze! This pier has one of the best views in South Beach. From this point you can look at the beach and the buildings at the same time. They have some benches and a water fountain at the end of the pier. We also liked the art at the entrance of the pier. I recommend to go early in the morning when the Sun is not that bad.

The views from this place are so amazingly breathtaking! So much to look at and see...people said that you could see dolphins from here. Plenty of people riding bikes or roller blading...if you want to relax the beach is right next door. There is paid parking..Plenty of spots and plenty of different ways to get there!

We stayed at the very end of South Beach Miami close to southpoint park pier. It's a beautiful place to walk it's well lit a beautiful pier a beautiful pair gorgeous white sand beaches. Plenty of places to eat lots of places to rent and stay. You can rent bikes and ride all around the bottom half of this pier and beach with breath taking serene backgrounds. Highly recommend the area not during Spring break and busy season.

A Serene and Spectacular Adventure at South Point Park Pier Beach My time at South Point Park Pier Beach was an unforgettable experience, filled with natural wonder and peaceful tranquility. The standout highlight was undoubtedly snorkeling near the jetty - a truly incredible experience that opened my eyes to a vibrant underwater world teeming with life. The variety of common saltwater tropical fish was staggering, creating a breathtaking and colorful spectacle as they darted and danced through the water. I was even fortunate enough to glimpse an octopus and a manatee, encounters that will stay with me for a lifetime. These up-close experiences with such fascinating marine creatures highlighted the rich biodiversity that calls South Point Pier Beach home. The water conditions were optimal on my first day, with crystal clear visibility that truly accentuated the splendor of the marine life. However, the second day was less ideal as visibility took a dip. I decided to skip snorkeling, using this as a chance to explore more of what the beach had to offer. The beach itself was not crowded, lending a serene and private atmosphere that is so often lacking in more tourist-heavy locations. I was able to enjoy a calm day of beach lounging, appreciating the natural beauty of the location without having to navigate through throngs of people. The commitment to cleanliness was impressive, with staff visibly working to ensure that the beach remains as pristine as possible. Their diligence in maintaining the beach's natural beauty was admirable, making my visit all the more enjoyable and contributing to the overall impression of South Point Pier Beach as a well-cared for and respected environment. South Point Pier Beach provided a remarkable blend of peace, natural beauty, and wildlife encounters that made my trip a truly unforgettable one. Whether you're a snorkeling enthusiast or a beach lover, South Point Pier Beach has something to offer you. Here, you can take a break from the daily hustle and immerse yourself in the calming embrace of nature. A visit to South Point Pier Beach is highly recommended - come for the serene beach, stay for the magical snorkeling experience.

Serene and refreshing! Gentle morning breeze and the slow moving waves with turquoise color water brings peace to your mind! Perfect place for meditation and awesome ocean views .constantly moving boats and cruises doesn’t cause any interruptions to your inner peace. Rock bridges on both sides adds beauty to the landscape. The boardwalk itself is very well planned and laid out nicely. Love this place! Slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the city , this place is one of my favorites in this city. Come and enjoy the serenity of this place!

The pier is simply stunning. Located at the southern tip of the humongous Miami beach. One can pedal or walk to this beach across the Miami beach coast. The view is spectacular. The magnificent buildings at one side and the beautiful Miami beach on the other side. Simply a visual treat. This is a photographers paradise. There is beautiful park right next to this place. This spot is very well connected by public transportation. There is also a citi bicycle pick up station at the entrance of the beach. All in all, a must visit place.

Beautiful pier, nice view of cruise ships leaving Miami, parking is expensive, but truly worth the memory, park rangers are very nice.

This is a beautiful, large pier that connects to South Beach. There's nice big parking lots nearby, a nice splashpad and playground for kids, and a beautiful wide sidewalk alongside the water leading up the pier. The pier itself overlooks Miami Beach and a beautiful row of rocks. It's a great place to bike or walk, lots of places to sit, and a beautiful view all around. After you check out the beach you can go straight to the beach. Great place.

The pier gives the best view the beaches and the gorgeous water! I loved every bit of the scenery. I think they should add some more shaded sitting areas. For God's sake it's Miami, it's hot!! Everyone was stuffed under the only two shaded areas. I love the long boardwalk area leading up to the pier. On one side you can chill on the rocks and watch speedboats fly in from the Atlantic into the downtown Miami. On the other side are trees and grassy area to chill on. There is a children's park there too. Parking is very limited. I would suggest getting there early as you can. Part of that parking lot belongs to the restaurants. I think it's silly to allow commercial vehicles to hog up parking meant for the visiting public. It's nice that they give them a designated time to be out so others can use the space but come on. Let them park for free somewhere else.

Absolutely recommended! Perfect spot to see the entire coastline. No bikes allowed on the pier but you can leave it at the entrance. Great view of the city and perfect spot for great pictures! If it is your first time in Miami, totally worth a visit! The beach in front of it allows dogs and there is a beautiful park right behind it. If you like to bike you can easily get there.

Place is crowded with tourists. But nice to relax by the beach specially coming from cold climate . One can rent a Citibike which is nice way to go around the city or just chill by the white sand beaches . There are others also who are fishing by the pier . The place is surrounded by restaurants, so don’t you fret when your tummy started to crave for something delicious.

South Pointe Park, well located in the southern of Miami, was in our plans when we went to Key West. I can name countless reasons why you should stop by there, especially if you´re under blue skies. There is a pier at the end of South Beach, the photos are super Instagrammable... lol. The lawn and vegetation are preserved and clean, that's important... Cruise ships leaving the Port of Miami pass very close to the Park... and the Playground and Splash Pad are some of the attractions for those with kids!

Clean area, the water was so beautiful. It’s now Nov and the water was initially cool but plenty was swimming. Now that the cruise ships are starting to move again since Covid, it was neat to watch one go by us while on the pier. I love to go there and walk, it’s very relaxing. The pier is free so you can come and go.

Such a beautiful place to stay for a while and enjoy the amazing sun of Florida and the ocean! It is clean and everything is relaxed; even if many people are here it is a great place to come and enjoy the sun! Definitely worth trying it! Just be aware that you have to look for a parking slot in the neighborhood!

Great for an evening stroll. We were not able to go into the pier but walked along the promenade and saw some beach cats hanging by the steak house. It is busy with lots of families and folks on bikes and skates, even in the evening.

  • 5/5 Jed G. 1 year ago on Google
My friend and I had our first ever experience with the Atlantic Ocean at this beach here and it was a blast! There weren’t too many people when we arrived around 5-6pm and when we left around 7:30-8:00pm it was roughly the same density if not a bit more. I would say about 40-60 people in a 1,000 x1,000 feet square (very rough estimate). After around 8:30pm most people began migrating towards the lively bars, parties, and events alongside the streets further north of the beach. It was slightly disappointing to see a decent amount of plastic trash washing up in the seaweed. However it didn’t really get in the way of enjoying some waves, tanning, relaxing on the sand, and even playing in the sand.

  • 5/5 Janet R. 1 year ago on Google
It’s the spot!!! So chill, plenty of sun and clear fresh water.!!! 100 ft. Before stepping into the sand you have restrooms, water splash pad and park for kids! A concession stand as well. The kids enjoy it very much after a whole day at the beach. You can also enjoy a walk at the pier and enjoy views out to sea!

Quiet pier. There were a few people fishing off the pier as the sun began to rise. I came out early to catch the sun rise. Showers are close by the pier to rinse off after leaving the beach.

We had a great time there. There is a really nice park and you can fish from the pier. This is on the most south end of South Beach. Across the waterway is Fisher Island and Key Virginia. They do close the pier about 30 minutes before dark so keep that in mind.

  • 5/5 Sara L. 1 year ago on Google
Loved visiting this park when in Miami in September. The pier was my favorite!!! You walk off the green area down to the park. there is a long pier and some bike rentals along the way if you are interested. The pier itself is pretty long with tall sides but offers amazing views! We saw big schools of jellyfish over the side and we loved looking out onto the beach area at the beautiful crystal clear water. We also enjoyed that there was a semi-covered area here with a bench where we could sit and take a break for a few minutes in the shade. This is a must visit place if you are at the beach here.

Lovely pier to walk along and take in the view , we also saw some turtles. Public toilets and a splash pad/ play area for the little ones. Green spaces to sit and have a picnic or buy a snack from the local shop.

The best well known spot in Miami south beach, where you must visit when you are in Miami. Although its mostly crowded but but you can spend some good time here just glazing into the ocean and admiring it’s beauty.
