This is a world class sandbar sitting in the beautiful waters of Miami. It's usually swarmed with boaters on the weekend, which is expected considering the spectacular nature of the sandbar. The water is very clear as the daily tides bring clean ocean water into the bay. The depth of the sandbar ranges from about 6 feet at the deepest up to completely dry land. There are large areas of water that are very shallow, about 6 inches to a foot deep. There are several food vendors in boats, most of which offer kayak delivery straight to your boat. Overall, an amazing place to spend a sunny day with friends, drinks, and music. Great for people watching too. This is a truly special place that makes Miami unique and I don't think there is another place like it outside of Florida.

One of my favorite places in the area. I bring people from all over the world to enjoy this sandbar. Always entertaining. It can get extremely crowded during weekends and nice and quiet during weekdays, your choice. Shallow clear water, very clean considering thousands visit this place weekly (thank you everybody). Food boats during weekends, if too crowded then anchored on the south sandbar.

Love kayaking with my family to this sandbar. A lot of sites to see from the manatees to stingrays and the buildings surrounding this sandbar. Way more enjoyable during the week as the week days tend to be more crowded. We kayak/ hit the beach weekly and love coming here, I would definitely recommend Haulover Sandbar. FYI you can rent kayaks, canoes or paddle boards at Oleta River and sail right over!

You guys should note that the original sandbar that EVERYONE loved has been dredged by the city for some idtiotic reason after like prob a century of being there. The pics u see are pretty much ALL the old one. Ppl have shifted a bit south to another sandbar that's deeper and has much stronger currents plus water that's nowhere near as clear. As such, there's like 1/10th the ppl partying there compared with the original Haulover sandbar and it's just ok vs how spectacular the old one was.

We had a blast at the Haulover sandbar last week. Rented a boat from Miami party boat rentals and had an absolutely great time here on the sandbar. Floating food truck, great tunes and a great party. Go check it out.

Haulover Sandbar located in Miami Florida, USA is a destination for many people in the area and specially on Sundays. It can be reached by boat or by a kayak. It is suitable for all ages and the water is mostly clear. In this picture taken from a plane the Haulover Sandbar is clearly seen in it and the surrounding area.

I believe Haylover Sandbar has a bit of fun for everyone in the family. There is an area close to Oleta Park were you can park and bbq or just relax under a tree. Theres plenty of boats with music for the party goers. The food vendors that bring you food. You can kayak, rent wave runners or just sun bath in your boat. Great location near restaurants on your way back home. Gets a bit crowded on the weekends but you can always keep a distance from other boats.

Sand bar is really nice but DO NOT buy from AQUATIC FLAVORS! They charged me double the amount of my food total and there a $10 delivery fee that they don’t tell you about. I tried to get my money back but the manager was drinking and smoking weed and didn’t not care that I caught her scamming ppl. If you do purchase from them pay CASH only. Aquatic Flavors is a vendor at that the sandbar allows to do business there. People are going to want food and beverages while out on the water. Aquatic flavors doesn’t have a google location for me to leave a review on personally other wise they would get a 1star review I’m giving the sandbar 3 stars because unfortunately you allow these scammers to continue doing business there and people deserve to be warned.

Awesome spot to pull up with the boat and hang out. Nice area to chill and swim. Saw some fish and turtles with my mask. Just be careful of the current

We come here regularly and beach the catamaran at mid out going tide. It allows us to have about 6 hours of grounding. Great for having bbqs without bouncing around. We only come here during the week as weekends it is far too busy. If you like busy party life environments then the weekends are for you. They have food boats that will even deliver! The water is clear, at low tide in some spots there is even dry sand to walk on. Being South Florida the water is warm. Even in winter the water is not that cold, I'd rate it warmer than the south coast of Australia in summer. As can bee seen from the pictures, weekdays are quite deserted. Pictures taken during noreaster with 20mph winds.
