Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church

Tourist attraction Catholic church Church

👍👍 This is a place needed every Sunday. I am from NY and I make sure to find a church I can attend my weekly mass. The place where we all are 1, 1 in the father, we are all family. If you are having a ruff day or week this is the place to feel better and ask for forgiveness, which both will be bestowed... People often mention church, mass, people, love,

My husband and I attend the Sunday 8 AM Mass. We usually sit in the second or third row on the left (looking at the alter). You can’t miss us: I’m a short blond and my husband is a tall African American stud muffin. 🤗 You will usually seeing us serving as well: he is a lector (very good one!) & occasional Eucharistic Minister, and I am a Eucharistic Minister and Lector occasionally. The church is located in South Beach so if you’re vacationing, we invite you to our humble church. We love visitors. And if you live in the neighborhood, we welcome you as well, regardless of your religion. The more the merrier! I invite you to please come say hi and introduce yourself to us! We love our Priest, Fr Gabriel. He is an incredible human and has a great sense of humor. He also gives great homilies. We also have several “regular” visiting Priests. Some of our favorites include: Monsignor, Fr Kent, & Fr Joe Morton. Our church also offers opportunities to get involved in various ministries, religious education, services for Sacraments, & our active young adult community. I invite you to come check out our incredible church! Everyone is welcome! 💚✝️

Amidst the good in Miami a seren, peaceful , respite. A place of gratitude and a prayer for guidance. A beautiful place . Everything needs nourishment. My soul is nourished here .2/25/24 heading home this Thursday not before I stop in at St. Francis. I've been given a lot. Starting with my parents . It all started there . They were fierce people . Fiercely devoted to family . They protected and guided their entire lives . How much more fierce is God in his devotion to his family . May I have the wisdom to just let it happen . May I not squander Your devotion . May I stay always grateful for this guidance. Amen . Just let it happen

Very beautiful church inside and out. We were there on December 24th, 2018 and were able to take part in the service. Sometimes I couldn't help but be amazed. I didn't understand every word, but the energy that flowed through me was incredible. I felt very comfortable there.

This Catholic church is a heavenly place in Miami Beach. The priest who serves this Parish is extremely blessed and he is indeed guided by the Holy Spirit when he talks. I have confessed here twice and both times I felt as if Jesus Himself was there listening to me and talking to me. The decoration here is beautiful. The helpers are caring and loving. When in South Beach, I recommend: cone and pray at Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

I have been here for the Sunday catholic mass. You can find at alternate hours, masses in English and spanish. Not really crowd, but an hour of peace four your soul in the hell of Miami. Very easy to reach from the beach with few dollars with Uber.

Love, love this church. Very come as you are, all are welcome and extremely personal experience . The Priests are all amazing with deeply touching and thought provoking sermons. I am lucky this is my neighborhood parish. I am currently out of town and struggling to find such a special place to attend mass.

Wow Father Gabriel did a mass for my uncle. We placed his ashes, flowers, photo of him and everything was perfect. Lots of friends attended and they were pleased how everything came out. Thank you Father Gabriel. Bendiciones 🙏

I live this church. It's plenty of peace. Every Sunday if possible I go to the mass . I usually seat in the back last 2 rows BUT one month ago or 2 the helping people from the church decide the last 2 rows stayed reserved for old people or special people. However when it is not reserved if and old people or special family with stroll needed the seat the people seated moved without problem BUT The most of the time it stand empty. And didn't allow the people to seat . I think is not good idea the church is a sacred place far away personal rules. Freedom to seat is the minimum we hope in the church. Another people comment this absurd and personal rule!!! The archidiocesis must know this absurd rule

When my husband and I moved to the area, one of the main things we missed the most was our church Our Lady of Lourdes. After attending a couple churches nearby, we came to St. Francis de Sales… what a game changer! We felt back at home in this church. Not one time I have not felt recharged in the Glory of our Father after attending mass. We go to 11am mass and the only thing stopping us is either we are traveling or may not be able to attend if sick and if this is the case, you can join in by watching live mass in YouTube or the church website. Father Daniel is my absolute favorite❤️, May God continue to bless him for many more years so he can continue blessings us. There is another younger tall priest (don’t know his name) who gives mass once in a while and wow is all I can say, his homily is one of the best too! Come by and join us🙏🏼
