The outpatient clinic in Weston FL is the worst place I could have brought my child for care. They lose records; they take months before verifying insurance coverage; some of their staff are flat out rude; they don't call back even after they promise; when you confront them on their unprofessionalism and recklessness, they spew a bunch of excuses. Some in the review forum will claim this place is kids friendly. Not a good way to evaluate a healthcare culture. Some of the staff try their best, like the cleaning crew or front desk, but on a human level and for healthcare, this place is disgusting. Not even an animal hospitals treat their dog patients the way these people treat their human patients. I wish I could assign them less than one star.

I took my foster child to this facility for neurological exam. They spent 20 minutes with him when he was on his best and upmost great behavior making great eye contact, bringing toys to them, and well behaved. Therefore, the nurse nor doctor listened to me. Nothing I said made a bit of difference. I was not looking for an autism dx. I was looking for help. He is super aggressive. I can't have him around my kids or any other kids. He torments them, hurts them, hits them with toys, bangs there head against things. Its only getting worst again. My daughter is terrified of him. When I tell him no or redirect him. He shows no emotions or laughs at me and continues to do it. I do not know what else I can do for him and you know what the doctor said? Absolutely nothing that can help me. In fact he didn't believe me. The doctor even went as far as rolling his eyes a few times at me. I am beyond livid right now just thinking about what my poor kids are going through, him, and myself. I waited months to get an appt and they said nothing, gave no answers to help my child or my family other then continue to work with him and give him attention. Nothing is working and I needed answers all they did was say have a nice day and send me on my way. I would never recommend them.

I am very disappointed with this office. I was never able to switch my doctor, so I was told I could have the nurse. For the past couple of years I have been taking my daughter to see Opal Hamilton and she's great! Opal shows such care and concern for my daughter that it's unfortunate that I've had issues with the other office members. During the summer I emailed and called the office and continually got no where when requesting some very important documents and appointments. The phone operator even took it upon herself to ask me some very personal, private information about my daughter. I couldn't believe it! Always seem to get the same response that the person who's responsible is on vacation or out of the office. July 25 I faxed a request for my records. Upon returning from vacation on August 9, I still had not received them. I called the office and was told they were sent on August 6. I waited and waited and did not receive them. I left a voicemail stating that I would be willing to come to the office to pick up my documents. I have a very important appointment coming up for my daughter turning 18 and her medical records are imperative. Well, i received the records yesterday, August 24. It would have been nice if I received a follow-up phone call or email informing me when I would receive these records or when they were sent out. As all parents with a child with Autism know how stressful our lives can be, I just wish this office could have made the extra effort not to add to my stress.

Horrible. Unprofessional. The office staff should be ashamed of themselves. Our referral expired while we waited over three months for our appointment. I did not even know that could happen! Then again I’ve never waited 3+ months before so how could I know? No one from the office called me to iron out any details that could pose an issue. When I arrived the woman in front of me had the same problem. The office person told me that since my referral wasn’t valid that I needed to leave. She refused to let me pay out of pocket. Seemed entirely numb to visible distress. I’m going to assume this happens a lot. It’s not only a waste of time for parents and children but also the physician, nurses and other medical staff that should be seeing these children. They have not called me for my appointment this week or even texted a reminder. Pathetic service. I’m not going to bother to call and cancel. I made an appointment at Joe DiMaggio and guess what? They called me a week before my appointment and the week of my appointment to make sure that my referral was up-to-date, thank goodness for this valuable learning experience. My cousin who works in the field said this used to be the best, Dan Marino’s. I wouldn’t know, I couldn’t get into the door. Maybe the office staff need a revamp or an office meeting to discuss pre-visit paperwork confirmation checkups? Or set up an automatic text message with the information? Such a shame that any child in severe need is forced to wait (6+) months for treatment on a technicality and hoop jumping which could’ve been avoided. Like I said, learning experience for me, I’ll be doing that every time now. Maybe you should too!

The staff at this site is the worst that one as a parent can find in a medical service center, they have no human quality, they speak to you in a rude manner and when you demand respect they get angry and act offended themselves. I have a very complex situation with my son and the least I am asking, almost begging, is to be able to talk to the pediatrician but as the office staff says, the pediatrician is not going to contact me nor do they want to give me an appointment so that At least the doctor cleared up my doubts as a parent regarding my son's situation. It is frustrating as a parent to be left in limbo without explanation and the office manager told me that if I try to make an appointment with my son's doctor she will refer to another doctor. ZERO EMPATHY. The only people I can rescue are Mrs. Magaly and Ana de la Rosa, the rest are rude and unprofessional.

Horrible horrible horrible member service. I walk in for our 8am FOLLOW UP appointment to go over my son 24 hour eeg results. I go to the counter and say good morning. The receptionist or M.A. ignored me. I waited some more to see if she would even acknowledge me and she didn’t. I then asked if their is a sign in or check on process. She said no and called up another parent. Then asks me for a referral. Not once during my initial appointment, nor the two confirmation calls I received mentioned that I needed a new referral for each follow up appointment. She said “they probably didn’t mention it because we assume you would know”. She then tells me I have 15 minutes to get one from my closed doctors office. It’s a follow up appointment to go over results. And if it was mandatory, there should be a form or it should be mentioned during the visit. Each time you called there office it’s a 20 to 30 minute phone wait and they periodically answer and hang up on.

Do not go there. They got money from my insurance and still keep sending me bills. I called their billing department and they told me that I don't owe anything and in fact they should be refunding me some money because I have negative balance. So I asked them why are you sending me bills threatening to send it in collections, and they said the system that generates the bills does not know that I don't owe anything. I just received another statement saying final notice. This is plain harassment. I have been going through this for months with no resolution. My daughter's speech therapist Giselle is amazing but with all these billing issues I won't recommend anyone going there. Multiple parents told me that they have this issue and there is no resolution. Such a big hospital and they have billing malpractices.

I took my son to this center since he was 2 years old, today he is 22 years old, the attention (ERA) was magnificent, the doctors were very good. For a couple of years, including this year, 2023 is terrible, I am having problems with my son's seizure medications, no one answers the phone, and it is only leaving messages from you, and no one EVER returns the call. I do not recommend this center to any parent. Even if doctors are good, they have to work with a good team, and sadly that is not the case.

The only way you can schedule appointment or speak with someone with pediatrics is if you leave a voicemail and wait for them to call back SUPER INCONVENIENT people work and cannot sit around waiting for a call back

I have been going to The Neurosensory Institute since 2008. Dr Blanco and Harris introduced me the the self-regulating Neurosensory Feedback technique. It has changed my life.I am truly a satisfied patient. I always have been treated professionally by the office staff . My billing is done correctly. Thank- you Dr. Blanco

Probably one of the worst clinic administrations. My autistic son had to wait 3 months to get an ABA evaluation. This is kind of normal. After the evaluation they told me to wait 3-4 weeks. I waited that time and contacted Dan Marino. No response. I emailed the therapist and then she told me that they cannot start treatment because there's no availability. Why would you make me wait so long for an evaluation and then say you cannot start therapy? Makes no sense. Dan Marino is interested only in making evaluations ($$$) and not treatment ($). I can attest that because before this happened my son also had an OT evaluation and guess what happened next: they didn't have availability. No other clinic will give you an evaluation without having availability because they cannot start treatment. Dan Marino has been calling me for a Speech Evaluation because I'm in the waiting list. After I told them that I had already one they told me if I wanted to start treatment I need to be in another waiting list. I called them to get my son in the treatment waiting list and they told me many speech therapist had resigned and they were not taking new patients. It's ridiculous. This place is poorly managed, I would stay away from it.

Horrible communication. You could never reach them conveniently. It’s like pulling teeth so I just don’t bother. I give service a 3. Just horrible.

The staff of this hospital are the best, especially the radiology team. Beginning with the nurses, they are so sweet and attentive you can tell that they really love what they do. The doctor was professional and attentive as well. If your kid needs and MRI this is the best place.

Without a doubt, this is the best outpatient center for your needs. The Physician Assistant, Dr. Weston Thomas, explained to me in great detail what the situation with my fractured finger was. I was amazed by how in depth his explanation was. His charismatic responses showed care in my situation and made me feel very good about my situation. Not only him, but Dr. Aaron Berger also explained how to get through my fracture and the possible steps I need to take for 100% healing. Again, if you had to choose between this or another outpatient center, the Dan Marino Outpatient Center should always be your first choice.
