The food was horrible. When we got the food it was cold and crunchy. The “egg roll” was crunchy on the outside yet raw on the inside. The rice was not edible. My beef and broccoli had tough parts and chewy parts. Got sick in the bathroom. We had given a $3 tip and she ran out to the car and wouldn’t let us leave till we gave her more.

Its a little quiet place not too busy. Dine in or carry out. We had shrimp toast...it was good, egg drop soup...favorful, and fried rice. The fried rice was a little flavorless. But nothing salt and pepper couldn't fix. Portion sizes a little small...but overall it was a good experience. The waitress was nice...I didn't know if we would come back. Nice place to dine in if you don't like crowds. Its a little dark too. I do love the white table cloths don't see that much anymore.

I visited the restaurant to pick up my order via Door Dash I told her I wanted to get one extra hot sauce She told me $1 I gave her my debit card She told me that I cannot help you. The minimum withdrawal is $5 Pay in cash if you want And I don't have cash She told me I would charge you $5 per sauce Some people lose a customer forever for a dollar!!!!

I ate here once before and it was pretty good so I decided to order this for my family again for dinner tonight. It was horrible! The wings were old and smelled as if they had been cooked in old grease, French fries were slaty and spare ribs were greasy. I usually don't write negative reviews because I don't want to talk down on businesses but I'm very disappointed in the food here. I won't eat at this place again.

The flavor has been wanting of late and i went to another establishment. It's not that i don't like the staff, because they are nice, but the food has gone downhill. I had to order recently because the other place i found was closed and what i received was very flavorless. The wontons we're hard as rocks, the pork was hard has rocks. It wasn't good and it made me sad because they are so nice! Their cook is doing them wrong. I always tip well, and i know Americans like tips, but it's just not as good as it was before the pandemic. I feel badly leaving this review but i cannot lie. I can't cut up my mouth and pretend everything is fine. I hope they hire a new chef. Chinese food at this place used to be very great

THE PLACE IS A DUMP. THE FOOD IS NASTY AND THE SERVICE IS A JOKE. Police confirm one person has been killed and another injured in a shooting at a Chinese restaurant in North Richland Hills. I think people can probably be ok with a place where someone was shot and killed but the food is nasty. none of the pictures on Goggle look anything like what you get. the beef was black and nasty, the taste as if it was old meat ready to decay. I went looking for a fine dinning experience based on the photos but they are a lie. DONT GO THERE.

The food was quite good. My only complaint is they don't give you enough rice to balance with the main dish. I got the triple delight entre and ended up taking some of it home with me.

So these people have pretty good food, but they won't make it right when you have an issue. I spent almost a hundred dollars on food just now. I have an autistic son who only eats egg rolls so I ordered 8 of them in addition to the other items. my egg rolls were not included in my package. I called and they seemed to know what I was talking about. 30 minutes later, they had still not arrived and now all my food is cold as I am trying to wait so everyone can eat together. I called back and spoke with a nice young lady and just explained the frustration to her and I was only asking for a 20 dollar credit or at least the cost of the egg rolls to be credited to my next purchase. she told me the best she could do was 8 dollars. half the cost of the egg rolls. they showed up as we were speaking and delivered them to me... cold. I spent around 300 a month at a business who cared so little about the customer that they were willing to lose 300 bucks for a 20 dollar credit which in reality only cost them around 2 dollars in cost.. dissatisfied and disappointed.

Food gets negative stars! My husband and I walked in thinking yeah it’s late so that’s probably why it’s dead (there was nobody there other than the employees and the goldfish in the fish tank)…on a Saturday night. The place looked old, smelled like old Asian food and aquarium but we saw a few door dashers come and go so we thought maybe it was worth the risk. NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! Egg rolls are pinky finger tiny and $2 a pop, you have to pay for refills (they bring you bottled sodas) annnnnd the best part! My husband (who loves Asian food and normally more than cleans his plate) stops mid chew, picks up his plate and spits out half a mouth full of combination fried rice and says ,”omg why is it crunchy, it should never be that crunchy!!!” Continues to remove the rest of the food from his mouth as politely as possible annnnnd dinner was over. Save your $50 and go to Japan house in NRH they’re the bomb, fresh, delicious and never crunchy in the wrong places! Ha!

Very good food. a lot of negative reviews seem to be in bad faith. I love that they serve duck, the duck is good with a pleassnt salt zang. My while family adores their egg rolls, they're bettee than a lot of other places. The lo mein reminds me of true Cantonese style stir fried noodles. Don't expect Panda Express tier food, if you want that go elsewhere, this palce actually serves good food.

Food was hard and the shrimp was so over cooked you couldn’t even chew it. Fried rice was not cooked evenly. Save your money.

I was very disappointed with my take-out order. I spent $70 worth of food that was blend and the only seasoning I could taste was ginger on everything. I hate to say this but this was the worst. I usually go to Yings in Watauga but they were close today. I will never make that mistake again.

I ordered the shrimp and vegetables. $17 plate just to throw in the trash. Idk what kind of sauce this is but it smells like urine and was kind of cloudy. Vegetables were limp and not crisp. Counted 7 shrimp total in the box. Now, I'm not a picky eater and I've eaten day old food that was passed its expiration date that smelled and tasted better than this. My hands literally smell like sweaty socks after touching this food. My daughter ordered chicken sticks and beef dumplings which were okay. But this has to be the WORST shrimp and vegetables I've ever had. And I've had Asian cuisine in 14 other states, from Chinese to Filipino to Thai to Laotian. I'm no stranger to spices. This was horrible and definitely NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Food is awful and I’m pretty sure microwaved as it’s so hot you can’t eat it. Even after waiting for an Uber driver. Ugh. Double cooked old sweet n sour chicken so hard it’s like Jerky. Burn old looking veggies. Dried out rice that’s been sitting all day. MUSHROOMS in Lo Mein??? Wth? Gross. Save your money don’t eat here. This place is a rip off for the price you pay. I’d rather eat from a hole in the wall corner store in the hood.

I wanted to try something different besides orange chicken so I got the beef curry for 12.95$ and plain friend rice. I’ve never been so disappointed about this place before but I feel like they scammed me because I order the food to go and when I went home I was missing 1 box of fried rice which it wasn’t fresh rice cause it was mushy and old, and my beef curry was 90% beef and 10% onions and peas. I paid $50 dlls for a food of 2 which is a pretty high price.

This restaurant used to be amazing. I’ve been going here for close to twenty years. This was my first time back in post COVID and we ordered to-go because it just didn’t feel the same. It was empty and dirty. Nothing like it used to be. The egg drop soup and Cho Cho beef was good, but the egg rolls were awful! The egg rolls used to be authentic and amazing. I’m pretty sure the new ones are bought frozen. The staff was nice, but it’s definitely not worth it.

When we first moved to NRH in 2001, Hunan Wok was really good and we ordered delivery often. After a many years, the seemed to go down. Recently (2022, 2023) we have started ordering again and the last few times the food has been really good. I love hot and sour soup but it is so inconsistent, we don’t ever order it anymore. Overall 3.5/5.

This place has horrible service... Horrible food... The food taste very bad!! When I tried to speak to them about my order, they took my money even though we didn't eat it!!! I cannot recommend any dishes from this... And I use this term loosely restaurant is not worth getting sick over. Service is just as bad as the food!!! I recommend going somewhere else...

Best Chinese food in the area, but this is Texas which means Chinese restaurants don’t survive here. The food has been frozen, you can taste that and prices are extremely high! $30.00 for Hunan “frozen” Scallops? Wow!! Most of the food is green peppers and sauce! Gross! Since I’ve been in TX I have come to mourn the Chinese food from home because they used fresh seafood and chicken. NEVER FROZEN! What a concept. 🤤

Do not get the pupu platter. Ribs like jerky, beef skewers tasted rank, chicken in foil looked like chopped innards and service was very poor. Used to like eating here but this was so very bad.

My first time eating here but the food was delicious and servings were large. BEST egg rolls I've ever had in my 62 years. Clean quiet Asian atmosphere. Friendly service. 2 thumbs up!

Run before you get the runs. Sorry but you should know. This place is terrible and I used to order from here regularly for delivery. Not clean. Not nearly what’s pictured… no, just no.

The house rice along with so many other options they offer are delicious 😋. And the service is super fast yet they always have the time to be friendly to you. I definitely recommend this place if your looking for good Chinese food.

Maybe my standards are low but I thought the food was really good. I like Chinese food in general so I'll speak from my experience. Most to all of the time I have Chinese food there's always a bunch of grease/oil with the dish, but theirs did not. I thought the food was cooked well and each dish tasted like it's own unique meal. I waited an hour for my food to be delivered but it was so worth it. I plan on making this restaurant my go to for Chinese food.
