I’ve been waiting awhile to write this review until I was less emotional about it. My fiancé then (husband now) & I went ring browsing together & loved the idea of supporting a family owned business. We went in store & Hakeem initially helped us but there wasn’t anything that met all the things we were looking for and another jewelry store across the way was running a sale & had a beautiful ring I loved. However, Chris met with us & offered to customize a ring for us, matched the price of the ring at the other store & said he would include a matching wedding band & add a hidden sapphire. My fiancé on that day was a bit overwhelmed & wanted to keep an element of surprise by not making a decision while I was with him, so Chris wrote all the details on a business card with the total price, tax & total. My fiancé went back on his own a few days later. Dealt with Hakeem once again. He sold him the rings that were discussed, however they didn’t honor the tax & total & instead priced it at the promised amount, plus tax…AND, without communicating with my husband, changed the center diamond (1/2 carat) to a LAB DIAMOND instead of a natural diamond. It was NEVER on the table for the ring to be made with a lab diamond & in fact declined to even look at lab diamond rings when browsing with Hakeem before. In addition to that, they called him 6 weeks later that the rings were ready, goes to pick them up, & it’s a square diamond & the whole reason for the customization was that it was supposed to be pear (it was already a square originally). So he had to wait for them to remake it & pushed everything back. & no offer to compensate him for the inconvenience. My fiancé didn’t realize any of the diamond switch up or overpricing until after he proposed & I asked to see any paperwork so I could determine if there was any sort of warranty or anything. It honestly makes me super sad that this all happened because my ring is BEAUTIFUL. & I love it. But also every time I look at it, I think about the shadiness in business and advantage taken of my husband who is just a big sweetheart. What I originally thought was such a great experience, is seen in a completely different light now. I had every intention of purchasing my fiancé’s wedding band here until I uncovered all the shadiness & then my husband wouldn’t even let me go to the store because he worried I would speak up & he honestly is being hard on himself for not catching the discrepancies before I did. So…beautiful jewelry, wonderful sales experience with Chris, but can’t get over the dishonesty, lack on integrity, & just shady business practices I feel like we experienced with Hakeem. On top of him putting the order in wrong & having it made incorrectly. & what I initially felt was a good deal, I now feel was overpriced.

This place was fantastic. I came in to get my watch battery changed and even though it was a small request, Nolan was so helpful! He was kind and quickly got it changed out and waited to make sure that it working. He and Christopher were great and showed us pieces around the store and were so knowledgeable. We will definitely visit again. Beautiful Levian pieces!

I never leave reviews, but I had to for this place. The best diamond buying experience I have ever had. Christopher was very helpful, knowledgeable, and did not make me feel overwhelmed or pressured like I have felt at other places! I can not recommend this place enough, and will definitely be coming back for future anniversary gifts! Thank you Christopher and crew!

Christopher is amazing! He is so kind and patient. We tried on a couple of rings and decided on the perfect one. If you’re looking for any jewelry I highly recommend Christopher at Benchmark! They have a large selection of men’s and women’s jewelry and lots of unique pieces.

Christopher has been the best to work with. We bought my husbands wedding band in April, and just had to get a new size as it is tungsten and cannot be resized. Christopher made the process seamless. Looking forward to our next purchase with him and Benchmark.

I have been coming to Benchmark Jewelers for over 30 years now. I made a life changing buy on 9/8/23 and bought a 9.5 Emerald diamond cut ring for my wife. When you make these kinds of purchases it helps that you have complete 100% faith and trust with whom you work with! AJ, Fred and Tristan have that and more. Sure it was a traumatic purchase but being able to walk through this process with them out any doubt and fright away! The going out of their way to make sure we were protected as well you just ont get that with anyone! They are by far the best and the price was VERY good for such a high end purchase. I have spent a considerable amount of money here in the last two years. I bought my wife a Tag watch two years ago, have had issues with it keeping correct time. I brought it in for the third time and told Christopher I wanted it fixed, he said it only had a two year warranty and I just made the timeline. He told me I may have to pay shipping, six weeks went by and then I get a call my watch was back and it was 164.00 for shipping. I asked what was done to fix it, no answer. I received no paperwork when I picked it up, no warranty on work that was supposedly done. Lisa who I bought all my jewelry through got a really attitude and made some very rude comments alone with Christopher. They are nice taking your money be aware they are cheats and have no morals.

After being disappointed with the lack of service from another Jewelry company in Dallas (Bri------ Ea---) I went here. From the moment I met Lisa Dawson, I new I had come to the right place. The engagement ring I designed was created to perfection. I will definitely be back!

I went Benchmark to price engagement rings. Before I left, I had purchased the ring I wanted for a price I couldn’t argue with. Christopher was the primary jeweler helping me out but I also have to give credit to his partner Areb. They were fantastic. They kept in contact with me during the creation of the ring up until it was delivered at the store. I even got a larger Diamond than was ordered. Great guys doing a great job!

Christopher at Benchmark in NE Mall is ABSOLUTELY the best jeweler!! He has helped me on many occasions pick the perfect gift for my wife. I wouldn’t think of using anyone else!! The selection and prices are great and Christopher always makes them perfect!!!
