Wonderful experience! Room was comfy, the jacuzzi tub was to die for, and our room was soo cold but cozy under the blankets! My husband and I ended up getting sick and having to rush out in the morning and I accidentally left behind my Grandma’s pearls that I wore on my wedding night (the night before). I was devastated when I realized and while the girl working the evening shift was less than helpful, the young lady working this Friday morning was the most compassionate, sweet person ever and made sure I got it back this morning. She was beyond sympathetic and I can’t thank her and the very honest housekeeping crew enough!

The rooms in the amenities are awesome. However when I went to grab a bag of chips and a pop from downstairs on my last night, one of the hotel employees grabbed a bunch of stuff right after me and for a single bag of chips and pop I got an invoice a week later for $39. If I had the time to actually file a proper complaint I would but this is the best I can do. They basically charge you for what you grab and then charge it for an additional five or six bags for themselves. Just a heads up as a lot of people would just let this go and let the charge go through as it typically goes through a whole week after your stay.

Wonderful staff, super good looking room and a comfy bed! The worst part of the room is the satellite TV service. Dish sucks, get DirecTV. Other than that, perfect! The bathroom is massive (compared to most hotels), and it's an actual tub and shower combo. Didn't take a bath, but nice to know I had the option available if I didn't want to shower. Though the toilet paper dispenser requires one to be a contortionist in order to reach it. Best to have it on top of the toilet itself when you need it. But I'm nitpicking, really a 5 star place and even better is the staff working there. Everyone is as polite as you'd expect, and it's not phony. Wicked cool staff, all around.

My stay has been great! Joseline at the front desk is always helpful, informative and kind. When I needed room service Maria did an excellent job. My room was as clean and fresh as the first night I arrived. Top notch hotel!

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Joseline at the front desk went over and above to help me with everything I needed. Valerie was welcoming and informative when I arrived. Maria kept my room clean and well stocked- she was also very kind.

Beautiful historic hotel building, absolutely amazing beds and pillows so comfortable. Temperature in rooms keep you comfortable the staff is very helpful especially Valerie. Housekeeping cleaned my room very quickly everyday and provided a rug so that the splash wasn’t dangerous after getting out of the shower. Lawra was my housekeeper and she did an excellent job all week!

It’s a beautiful hotel but not for the price. They no longer do wine tasting. And a jet in our tub flew out and hit me when I went to use their bath tub. I went down and informed the front desk but they just stared at me. For $450 a night I expected more.

Stayed the night here on a Saturday. Decent location and the coffee shop on the corner was amazing. The room was spacious and the bathroom was about as big as the room. Though the tub was tiny and it dripped all night, had to shut the door. The sheets had a strong bleach smell. Bed was comfortable and I’m kinda picky about that. Booked the room and was told valet was included then got billed for valet. The sign to park there is confusing and their website doesn’t give clear parking information either. The building was built in 1915 and you can somewhat smell the old cigarette smoke in the halls, at least on 5th floor where I was. Windows were huge with decent view considering surrounded by tall buildings, but windows were dirty as heck outside. Likely won’t be staying here or recommending it. Overall cost was $220+ after they charge for valet even though it was supposed to be included. Customer Service isn’t something they strive for here, more like an “oh well” attitude.

For a place that is over 100 years old, this hotel is nice. Located near everything downtown town, it provides close access to the convention center and many businesses. No breakfast onsite, but places within walking distance. Rooms were decent. Quiet hotel. Bed was comfortable. European style bathroom was nice. Valet parking only, so check the cost of not included with your room rate. Would recommend staying here.

Our team stayed here for a 3 day meeting and have nothing but great things to say! This cute hotel is in the perfect location for great restaurants, fun things to do and cool bars. Everything is within blocks of The Ashton, including access to an amazing workout facility included with our stay. Of course we were here to work, and from planning the meeting to suggestions on where to go, the staff at The Ashton were to notch. Tracy, our sales manager, was a prop and did an excellent job facilitating all things related to our stay and the meeting itself. She ensured that our meeting room was well stocked and prepared. Our sleeping rooms were super comfortable with lush linens and towels. Chantallie checked us in quickly, was super helpful and replied to all requests with a smile. Our AV/IT expert, Harold was very helpful and reacted to last minute requests professionally and also with a smile. It was wonderful to stay at this lovely hotel and work with a great team of professionals - I highly recommend The Ashton and especially Tracy, Chantallie, and Harold!

I made a reservation in August for a room for 1 night on 10/22 for my daughter and new son-in-law for their wedding night. I prepaid the $311 in August for their room. I spoke to the hotel on the day of the wedding and was told everything was ready for them and I let the hotel know they would be checking in late, 10:30 or so. My daughter called about 10:30pm crying and told me that they were at the hotel trying to check in and were told they did not have a room due to a problem that the hotel had with their bookings. The lady at the Ashton told them that a reservation had been made for them down the street at another hotel. Needless to say they were not happy and went home. I called The Ashton and was told that they had a room open up and they were waiting for the newlyweds to check back in. Never called the newlyweds but told me this information! This is all taking place after 11pm. I told them no way were they driving back to stay at The Ashton! Awful experience and no one knowing what they were doing. Thank you Ashton Hotel for ruining their first night as newlyweds.

First the venue was very nice cozy. Luxurious and kind staff. The room was awesome with good view and amenities I didn't even need because there are so many. The next morning Lauren at the front made sure everything was taken care of and valet is about to bring my car I'm checking out happy. Thx

Lauren was so perfect and accommodating. From the first time she said hi to the last day i stayed. Lauren was the one to talk to. The history of this place is amazing. I would suggest staying here whenever you are in the area. If you have the ability, try to get one of the few rooms with the balcony. Floor to ceiling windows. It truly shows the beauty of this place. So much history and stories if you talk to the employees! You can't go wrong choosing this place. Amazing....loved the floor to ceiling windows!!!

Stay away. This is the loudest hotel I’ve ever been to. We were there spending the night for our anniversary and ended up going home and just saying, “Forget it.” The first room backed up to a bar and we clearly heard loud music and thumping from the bass, and the front desk thankfully moved us to another room. The second room was on the corner with a red light and we could hear every single car engine revving up and zooming by. The staff were nice, but didn’t seem too knowledgeable on the front desk duties. The rooms were lovely, but just very noisy. Spend your money elsewhere.

Went for tea with some sweet friends. It was just lovely. Gian was fantastic! Very kind, attentive, and helpful, especially as we had some gluten-free needs and plenty of questions for him to answer. He did everything he could to make our experience wonderful.

My husband and I stayed here our wedding night. Everything was perfect from the moment we walked through the doors. We were walking distance to everything we needed. Skyler and Jocelyn at the front desk were very friendly and were able yo accommodate all our needs. The building is beautiful. Our room had a claw foot tub which was great for pictures!

We stayed at The Ashton Hotel for our wedding anniversary weekend. It was a beautiful historic hotel. The room was very spacious and service was great. My only complaint was that the a/c didn’t work very well and the room felt a little stuffy. There were many restaurants and shops nearby and it made for a great weekend!

This is a great historic hotel in the heart of cowtown, excuse me, downtown Fort Worth. The building isn't overly huge, it's in a great location, I mean Pete's dueling piano bar is legit right around the corner (go there after 7pm for good drinks and sing loud damnit!) Had a minor issue with the toilet in the room which was fixed promptly when reported.

Had my honeymoon here <3 it was so quaint, classy and just perfect! They gave us a complimentary champagne and chocolates for the occasion. We also did the late check out for a little more so we're able to lounge in hot tub till 3pm!

We loved our afternoon tea experience with Marcos and Anabel! I came with my mom and sisters and we had a lovely 4 course tea time with unlimited refills of our tea selection. They even accommodated for one of us being gluten intolerant.

Enjoyed our stay at the Ashton. Easy to get anywhere downtown. Friendly and helpful staff. Valet Parking by Sneh was prompt and courteous. Room was quiet and bed very comfortable.

Underwhelmed! For a “4 star” hotel in Ft Worth, we were completely underwhelmed. Service was ok at best. When you walk into the lobby you expect to be transported back in time as this is a historic hotel. At the very least, I expected it to be nice. They have storage shelf’s in view at the checkin desk. If I pay $300 a night, I don’t want to see cleaning supplies in the lobby. The room was ok. Nothing special here. I could have been in a really old Holiday Inn for what it’s worth. Bed was not overly comfortable, bathroom underwhelmed. Just wasn’t a very nice hotel.

This review is for the tea room at the Ashton in Fort Worth. My husband and I took the in-laws to the tea room for an afternoon tea experience. The food left a lot to be desired. The finger sandwiches were not fresh, and they were prepared on stale bread. The desert bites tasted like desert trays from an average grocery store. Also, the tea selection is limited; there’s no green tea and no tea pairing option. Finally, there were no mention of banquet fee on top of the $65 per person, for total of $354 for 4. Just last week I paid the same money to have dinner at Hell’s Kitchen in Las Vegas and had a great delicious meal. Let’s just say we walked away with a negative experience.

I had a wonderful weekend with my now Fiancé at the Ashton Hotel the other weekend. October 21st we got engaged and thanks to the accommodations that were made, we were able to enjoy a great evening and a wonderful place to stay. The staff was very friendly and valet attentive. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place to stay. Rooms are comfortable, with pillows that you can adjust to your preference (firm or soft). Location is very desirable - a few blocks from the Convention Center, and a couple blocks from Sundance Square. In-room coffee, safe, 'fridge. Staff is accommodating, and some greet you by name. Valet service available, so no parking hassles. Already planning out next stay.
