Love, love, love this place!! It has a speakeasy vibe to it which, is a delightful change up to the modern day living. You enter through an alley just like off a movie! Then on your right, you enter the elevator and go to the basement level. Once you walk off the elevator, you enter in to the Jazz Club realm...which is sooo swanky. The ambiance is perfect for date night with your boo or on a couple’s date. Both times we have come, the band has been stellar. My boyfriend and I came two days ago for my birthday. The waitress, I wish I knew her name was amazing! My boyfriend let her know it was my birthday and she was soooo excited! I loved her energy. My boyfriend and I had a marvelous time together with the background music of the band playing behind our conversations. Come out here for a lovely date night vibe!

Went with my grown up son tonight, to witness some grown up music... Jazz In a real Jazz Club, in a converted basement, in the Historical Woolworth Building, in downtown. Even caught an elevator from the alley entrance down to the basement where all the energy happens. Totally digging it 🎶 We listened to Ashlin Parker and Friends debut their stage presence, straight from New Orleans. Not sure if he brought his Grammy with him tonight, but he sure did play like he owned one. Sweet Jesus...can he blow that horn! Love this place!

I can't say enough good things about this place. This Lounge has a speakeasy feel to it, dark and intimate. The Music was absolutely fantastic. The staff was very courteous and professional. If you're not a fan of large crowds, the best time to come to this place I'm guessing would be on a Sunday night. That's when we went. Only filled to about half capacity, no cover charge, and great drinks. My wife especially enjoyed the chocolate martini. We will most definitely be back. Going to have to catch one of the shows some Thursday night. Thursday through Saturday nights you have to book online through the calendar, and the seating averages out to about $15 apiece which is a really good deal. Located on the south side of Sundance Square. Across the street and down the alley.

Red Young and his group were fantastic! Great energy and high quality music. The vibe of the lounge was the exact kind of chill, relaxed setting we were hoping for and the drinks were reasonable and quality. Overall, great experience that we definitely plan to come back to again sometime.

I went there again after 8 years. The same atmosphere. Dark and delightful music. I ordered pomegranate martini and a dirty one. The martinis were okay. Music was not loud, so you could hold a conversation. However, I’m not sure why I felt the band was playing the same music over and over. lol Maybe it was because I was intoxicated a little bit. This is the only jazz bar around.

Cool alley entrance. When we bought tickets for the jazz band, we were able to choose and reserve our table for four. Good service during the performance and decent selection of beers. Everything seemed reasonably priced. We were within ten feet of the stage.

I suggest viewing their website for the event schedule before planning a trip here. Despite the business hours listed, the live jazz is during restricted hours and not all night long. Friendly and attentive service. Very awesome location and atmosphere.

This place is so cute and cozy. The venue is in the basement, small and intimate. The band was great! We went for an anniversary celebration and it wont be the last time! Drinks were good and the service was nice. when you buy a ticket, you get to choose your table. I liked that

It's alright. Cool place, good music, great drinks. No hats, no phone flashlight - could hardly read menu, elevator broken, hallway stench, put a damper on what could be a 4-5 star joint.

Such an amazing night out! First time to a jazz lounge and it was something everyone should try at least once (we will be returning). Also the waitress’ service was impeccable! Band was great too, it was super chill.

Wonderful Evening. My first visit! I was treated to the stylings of Cyrelle Amee and the Fort Worth Jazz Orchestra, as well as special surprise guest Ashlin Parker, who plays with the Dave Mathews Band. This venue is really something unique and I plan on more visits. The drinks were quite good, I had an Old Fashioned and it paired well with the music and atmosphere. A friend ordered some snacks, I think it was steak frites... looked good! This is a great spot for a nice date or just to try out some new music and artists. Snag a booth with some friends for the best seats in the house. The tiny elevator is a bit wonky, but, maybe you'll make some new friends on your way and up down!

A throwback to the old speak easy! A highly enjoyable atmosphere with great acoustics to compliment a wonderful life jazz band, that also invites student musicians and artists to come up on stage to playing & sing. Attentive service from all the staff complemented the enjoyable visit I had for this establishment! A rare find!!!

My friend took me here for my birthday. It was a simple, quaint spot with great & welcoming staff. I even received the birthday song played to me. 🤗 The band didn’t play long so I can’t comment too much on that. They played a few songs then they went on an intermission break. So I’d like to go back to experience that part a little more for a more fair review.

If i had a jazz bar like this in my city, I'd be there every night. Lots of talented performers come through. Place should be packed every night. Drinks are very affordable here. Entrance is a small, private alley and you take the elevator down to the basement.

I was in town on business and always looking for good music and came across this wonderful hidden gem. I mean literally hidden! It's in the basement of a building and there's just a tiny sign on the outside to let you know it's there. Reasonable cover charge and drink prices and the service was top notch. I loved the vibe as soon as I walked in. The band played a great mix of originals and standards and really put on a great show. My only disappointment was when they closed the show. There's 2 sets, the 2nd starting at 10pm, so plan accordingly.

I loved this place! Great music, very professional. Cozy & intimate but not super loud that it hurts your ears. Will be back again!

Always a great experience! It is a great date night environment or great for girls night out...men it's also a great place for you too, but I'm sure y'all would enjoy it more on a date. Love it and will definitely go back again and again!

Lovely atmosphere and place with great music. I went on a Sunday when they allow the community to go up on stage and it was wonderful to see all the talented people. My friend and I both enjoyed our drinks. They were about $10-12 so not a horrible price. Highly recommend!

Wife surprised me and took me to the late night show. First time coming to a Jazz lounge and loved the experience. Felt like I was in a different city for those few hours. Can’t wait to go back.

Date night for me and my wife. We wanted to do something different, so we went to listen to some jazz. I can't remember the name of the band, but they were very good. I highly recommend this place.

I want to preface this by saying the musicians were top notch lastnight! That being said, avoid this place, unless you want to be treated like trash by the security person with the large plug earrings! This man ruined our entire experience. We were seated in a nice booth, and my cousin (who I haven't seen for years) were conversing quietly about the music, clapping.....enjoying the moment. A couple in front of us turned and told us to be quiet, that were too loud, even though two women next to us in a booth were far louder. This security person comes over yells "is there a problem here"? My wife, myself and my cousin said no. The couple lied and said we were yelling, which was untrue. He then sits down, starts cursing. I tell him, quietly that I am a disabled veteran with hearing impairment, and that the couple was blowing the situation completely out of proportion. He tells me he doesn't care, and that if this continues we will be thrown out, all this while yelling at me. My cousin, and my wife witnessed this. I then went to the bar to speak to the female manager, and she was nice enough. The security guy kept walking up, interrupting me while I spoke to her, yelling again at me. We were not even able to finish our drinks. And were charged for the seats, even though we did not even make it through an entire song. Horrible treatment of servicemembers-or disabled veterans. I was a Military Policeman for 10 years, and would never dream of speaking to people this way. Terrible terrible. UPDATE: still no apology from this terribly run place. But hey, my bank did reverse the charges for the high prices I paid, and wasn't even able to enjoy.

Stumbled upon this club during a visit to Fort Worth. Will definitely visit it again, the next time we are in Fort Worth. Service was great, very attentive wait staff. Atmosphere and acoustics were spot on, enjoyed the live entertainment.

Love going and getting out great atmosphere and variety of performers. Drinks are a little pricey but we’re very good. Be sure to check the seating chart so that you get a table without obstruction so you can view the platform and watch the entertainment. Very disappointing that there’s columns all over the place. Would highly recommend very much is speakeasy vibe. Great for a dress up evening date night.
