We stopped over for 2 nights due to the great reviews. We found the spots to be a little tight but not awful. Then they assigned us a spot where the picnic table area was flooded. I tried calling and was put on auto hold and then was disconnected. We hunted down a very nice man who worked there and he offered to blow out the water . I was ready to find other accommodations (although it was after hours) when they offered us a spot that is similar to an overflow. Lots of foot and car/camper traffic. Then they came by in the morning and put a note on our camper door to say that we cannot have a dog fence - highlighted and underlined. We didn’t realize this when we put it up. They advertise Wifi but could not find it. And large piles of dog poo in many of the common areas. We will not be back.

This is an amazing park to stay at! We have enjoyed the family atmosphere, the rain (brings the frogs but they didn't bother us at all) and the sunshine. Laundry room is clean, pool looks so inviting and also very clean! Spots are level, easy in and out. Staff has been very nice and helpful! Very pet friendly also! To me, A+ all around. Safe travels

Don't stay here if its going to rain, or if it just rained. I also don't recommend coming if you will be arriving after hours. We arrived 30 minutes after closing time, (arrived at 6:30pm). A storm had just blown through and we picked up our packet that was left taped to the front door of the office. The packet did not have the free wifi or the restroom/shower codes on the brochure/receipt. Our site was #128. When we arrived our site was pretty soggy in what I assumed was rain water. Some of that might have been rain water but the majority of it, we quickly found out was septic overflowing onto our site. Every site was occupied for the night, there was no emergency number to call and no where to move to. We did not have access to the showers or an ability to dump our own tank so that we could shower in our own rig. We did not want to run our water hose through the septic waters so we went without being able to hook up. The pool was locked at 6:30, when it was advertised to be open until 8. The next morning when we expressed our frustrations and asked for a refund they were only going to refund us 50% of one nights stay, because they said we had access to showers. After proof of video on my phone of the overflowing sewage, and bringing in my paperwork showing they left off the shower codes, then we were told we could receive a full nights refund. Customer service is way lacking, no emergency after hours number to call. It's my recommendation to not risk it, and find a different park to stay at.

The staff at this resort are really special. Helpful, accomodating and friendly. The sites are well situated and most are shaded. We had no difficulty leveling our small camper. There are ample bathrooms. The showers are somewhat small but functional and very clean. There is a large, well lit laundry room and a beautiful swimming pool. The downside is the neighborhood of East Ridge, which consists of mediocre fast food restaurants and industrial parks. It's not really even convenient to downtown. Other than where this park is situated, it is a wonderful facility that I highly recommend.

I think reviews of campgrounds are all relative depending on what your looking for. Pros: level spots, decent space between sites, nice picnic table and fire pit. Good location to the city. Lots of pull thru sites, clean park, kids can ride bikes around easily. Didn’t use bathroom/laundry facilities. Pool wasn’t open yet. Cons: lame basketball area, dog park is small and playground is meh. Nice pavilion but right next to a site. Area doesn’t take well to rain, lots of standing water after a night of rain. I may stay again if it’s the city I wanted to see but as a camping destination I’d say no, especially for the price.

Great location. Easy on and off to interstate. Sits on an old Battlefield. Make sure you stroll through to read the historical plaques and see the monuments. Playground is great for kids. They have a dog park with a play ramp as well. Lots of private showers and bathrooms around the property. Laundry facility is clean. Do check which dryer you are using! Some of the lent vents are gone or torn....you'll definitely lose socks!! Since it's close to the interstate, you'll hear road noise at night. We were two rows in to the six rows. There are no security gates at the facility. People can come and go throughout the night. Quiet time is 10p-8a. You can get a Lyft and Uber from here to places around the area...but you may have to try and each to see who's available...either they are really busy or it just takes time finding someone. We had to wait 5-10 minutes each time for it to actually find an available driver. There are regular taxis available if you prefer that as well. The staff we communicated with and met were all nice and easy to talk with. All sites are grass or gravel....there are no poured pads here. We did have a full hookup site and all worked as expected. Cable was available. Internet is available but was out the time during our trip. There is a lot of antique shopping nearby and the flea markets are within a mile. Overall, I'd visit the site again.

Peggy, Jean and the others were so kind and helpful. Our RV group is small, however, that did not stop Peggy from allowing us to use a Wonderful large room with a full kitchen, to use for the days we were there. The Campground is well cared for. The facilities are clean and for the use of those of us who stay here. The Workmen are always doing something to keep the grounds clean, safe and sound. Nice place and VERY nice people. Have been here previously with our group and will be back again!!

Absolutely the best overnight campground we’ve been to! Paved roads and very long parking spots. Easy in and out and customer service was awesome! Our dogs give the dog park two paws up… we’ve never been to a dog park with pee gravel. Nice and clean and very easy to scoop the poop. We definitely will put this on our list of places to return… for more than one night for sure!

Nice clean park. Office folks are nice. Location is very convenient. Would have rated higher but lots are two narrow and roads have to many potholes. The fire rings are tiny and to close to campers and vehicles to have a fire anyway. We didn’t use the pool or bathhouses so I have no comment on them. If you just need to park for a couple of nights a see Chattanooga this park is a good choice. If you want a view, campfire or space to sit outside look elsewhere. They do offer Good Sam discounts

The park is split in half more or less, with half of the park occupied by full time residents. We still had no problem finding a spot mid-June and the park staff was very nice. There is a Camping World down the road with anything you might need and it is a quick ride from Chattanooga for all sorts of attractions and entertainment. The playground was small and had no shade, but we did enjoy the pool.

My RV has been on site for 17 years and I'm very pleased with their service. The rest rooms and showers are kept in immaculate condition. If a worker notices something wrong on my RV the staff notifies me immediately

I have been visiting the park for the last 6 years. Since new management started around a year ago or so it has gone completely down hill. This was our go to spot 3-6 times a year for Chattanooga but will not be going back. After the last visit and the way the lady Sabrina who supposedly “runs” the place treated us we will not be back. Don’t waste your time or money.

Ok for an overnight stay. Bathrooms were clean but you could not regulate the shower water temp. The sites were gravel with full hookups but narrow. Most were pull through. Not much to do, pool looked nice but closed for the season. Tiny play scape for small kids, small fenced in dog park. Shuffleboard had the picnic tables on it, pad for the one basketball hoop was uneven and torn up. No place to really walk around. The tent sites were all together in a space between 2 gravel streets.

Nice place to stay. Lots of shaded areas, great bathrooms, pool and laundromat. The office has a little store with RV items which is good for newbies like us.

They advertise wifi, but not available during our 3 day stay. There was a pile of dog poop near our fire pit, but they removed it when we complained. Nearby drag races are loud and obnoxious on weekends. Must run ac to drown out. Utilities are fine otherwise, staff is friendly and campground is well-maintained (except for the dog poop).

Only full hook ups available even if you don't need it. Won't let you park a van at tent sites. $56! Not a great location or much to look at to warrant that price either.

A large RV park with some tent sites. If coming from the north the sign is hidden by trees so easy to miss. Bathhouse was clean and modern. Laundry. Excellent location to visit Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and Chattanooga.

Wow! What a beautiful beautiful park! Ours was a pull through site and had full hookups plus cable! Each spot has plush green grass, picnic table and campfire pit. Truly a resort! Everything is marked spectacularly, exit signs, rows! Love that! Close to town that has everything! Really excited to stay here!

This park went through a management change last year. While the previous had issues, I would take them over the current any day. Since new management has gotten here they have hired a young kid who likes to aggressively start fist fights with customers he doesnt like. He has been heard cussing and threatening customers. When management was told about the problem. She said if you dont like it we can leave. Good Sams is a joke if they believe this is a good park. I have watch prices go up service go to almost not existing. We will likely not see the pool in full operation for the whole summer. Roads are covered in potholes. This is not really a place you want to bring your expensive rv. Also leave your bikes and toys at home. You might get relieved of your property while here. Again, “if you dont like it you can leave.” Management does not care about you only their bonuses. So dont expect much for your money here. This was a nice park when we got here. Soon it will just be an extension of the now permanently adjoined mobile home park next door. Which management will has no problem letting you know the properties are owned by the same company and she will manage them both like the mobile home park. Happy camping, buyer beware.

A great place to sit for a bit and check out the Chattanooga area. This is about the easiest spot to get into with a 41' fifth wheel. Getting out is great also if nobody parks behind their rig. The only downfall was No WIFI! "They are working on it!" Computer chip issue. Not their fault! Great staff!

Spacious sites. Nice fenced dog park. Nice, clean laundry and all the machines were working. We were right across from the open grass/tent area so our view was great. My only complaint would be that the pad on our site was sub level so we had a pond on our site because of all the rain. Avoid site #143

Had an issue picking up the service provider in order to use the WiFi. Never could get connected. We have stayed here many times. Good for just a night, pull through sites. Clean, paved

Loved having trees in the RV park. The sites are average size, maybe a little tight. Well maintained facilities. Friendly staff. You have to pay extra to access the showers and pool. It's reasonably close to the aquarium, downtown and Rock City.

Location good, flat and pull thru spots. Wifi not working but everything else did as indicated. Restrooms clean: would have liked to visit the site store, very limited hours. The site history is interesting. Have stop in, when passing thru, 2x's to other locations. Will visit again.

Good campground with level sites. Bathrooms were clean and neat well stocked and the showers were each in one single room for personal use and plenty available.

Love this place! Staff are wonderful, pull through sites are easy to get in and out of. Every kind of shopping you want is nearby yet it's in a quiet natural area. We have been here many times, to and from FLA. We highly recommend this park. Thank you for your hospitality.

Stayed a couple of nights in April '22. Full hookups, not much space between sites (nothing new there). Pretty well maintained. Good place to park when visiting the area. Drag strip is pretty loud when there is racing.

Great place to stay when you’re traveling and don’t want to get miles off the highway. Nice wooded campground. All amenities were great!! Very clean place and staff were super friendly.

The rv park is close to everything, yet tucked away in it's own little forest. The sites are nicely spaced and easy to maneuver in and out of. The showers were very clean, with great water pressure. The office staff was professional and courteous. There's trails and a large pavillion that I didnt utilize due to the overly wet and then winter weather. The one lil concern that did arise for me, was handled efficiently and properly with my satisfaction being of upmost importance. I'm looking forward to staying here everytime I'm in the Chattanooga, Tn area.

No southern hospitality here! Campground was clean and quiet. However, they note to let them know if we want late check out (2 pm) the morning that you're leaving. Being that we were only here overnight and just passing through, we asked to stay until then (for the fee, no problem) so we could sightsee. The lady in the office was very rude. She told me that someone was coming in right after us and we needed to leave by 12 pm sharp. I asked if we could move to another site until 2 pm, she rolled her eyes at me and told me they don't usually do that, but we could leave it in another site. She rudely reminded me of the five dollar charge. So, we hitched up our 42' fifth wheel (no small task) and moved it two sites over and left. Came back around 1:00, no one in our old site (or lots of others, for that matter). Hitched up the camper again and left. The guidelines say no camper washing, but the guy next to us had his gas power washer out, noisy and smelly and washing away. And I just wanted to pay extra to stay a few hours, like they say they offer. For a Good Sam campground, I'd at least expect friendly service. Not happening here! We won't be back.

If you want to experience a pleasant visit I would not recommend staying here. The short office lady was very unprofessional and very rude about our vehicle being parked in a spot for no longer than 25 mins we just stopped by to see and elderly family member on our way through. She could have asked notified us of the rules they have for we didn’t know and told us about an over flow and asked us to nicely move our vehicle and been professional but was incredibly rude and very hostile yelling at us telling us to move it right now it was incredibly uncomfortable and then was threatening to kick out our family member after the fact. This is not how you treat any guest or a long standing resident of the camp park who’s giving no issue while staying there.

No water in the park, no updates from the office. No after hour contacts in the paperwork. Update: As soon as I posted the water came back on. We were here for a week. Lots of overnighter. Flat, slight highway noise. Pool was great, everything was clean.

Nice RV park. My first visit and it is 100 times better than the KOA Journey I stayed at list night in Cordele, GA. This park is clean and well maintained. This is the way an RV Park should be.

A very nice park. Everything seemed well maintained and clean. The showers were some of the nicest I've found. The only complaint I would have is there seem to be some very loud street racers around that can be clearly heard even inside the trailer, although I realize this is not the fault of the management. I'd certainly stay there again if in the area.

This is an excellent park for pull through they have private shower houses which is kept clean and secure the only one problem I have with this park is You better drive at 1 mph when you're in the park even though it says 10 mph due to the fact it tears up your tires the entire park is gravel and if you know anything about tires riding on gravel causes chunking chunking is when pieces of rubber rip off of your tread I already had to replace two tires usually the back tires will go because they'll Skip and slide out on the rocks be careful driving through this park

Nice park. But a POOR LOCATION!! They are located a half mile from the Brainerd Motorsport speedway. Out out the 7 nights we stayed here, the BMS was in use 5 days and nights!!! Unbelievable that the residents and visitors have to put up with OUTRAGEOUS NOISE that goes on until midnight!!!! We won’t ever stay here again.

Great showers and restrooms. Dog park was small. I highly recommend it. The owners are still a bit on the COVID extreme side.

  • 3/5 Cathy V. 1 year ago on Google
Campground is low lying so when it rains it’s very muddy almost everywhere. Overall it was a pretty messy campground in need of more gravel. The front spaces at the park seem a little better. Bathrooms and showers were adequate The fire ring at our site was in a bad location - too close to the gravel pad (probably because the site was also very small/narrow for a full size travel trailer) The provided picnic table was broken and completely un-useable at our site. Definitely needs to be updated with a safe and intact picnic table. I wouldn’t recommend this park and won’t be staying here again. Skip this one and stay at raccoon mountain cavern campground 20 min away.

We have an awesome campground! Salt water pool, playground, dog park, pavilion, laundry room, propane, wood, dump site, cabins, cottages and a club room. Awesome staff! So many things to do in the area to mention. Come check it out!!!

We were just stopping in for 1 night. Reservation was taped to the check in building. The Pulll through site with full hook up was tight. Close sites. We did refill our propane tank here.

14 $ plus to do 3 loads of laundry and NOTHING got dry Had to air my wet laundry on the picnic table until I could leave this morning. There was a code for the bath house but no key pads with numbers on them. Will NEVER come back. Hopefully I will learn who the owners are so I can avoid any other businesses they own also.

Stopped here in August 2022 while traveling to North Carolina. Park is very nice and conveniently located near interstate. MOST SHOCKING was I received a call in April 2023 stating that they had found my puppies name tag and wanted to return it to me. WOW….now that IS customer service. A+++.

Stayed here for a night. Very pricey for the site we had. Site very very narrow. Old picnic table. Not worth the price we paid. Wouldn't pay more then 30.00. Some sites are on the mud. Need to improve. Too bad because the situation is very good.
