It was an authentic italian pizza dinner.

Great service, great food, big portions, cozy atmosphere. We went on a rainy day to La Trattoria, so scenery was not that important for us as it was raining and it was at night. If you're looking for a place with good scenery this is NOT it although the restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere which is amplified by the friendliness of the staff. We ordered the Gamberetti pizza which was great. The crust was thin and fresh but had a very light and aromatic profile. This was not one of those pizzas that you eat and go into a coma after. We njoyed the pizza with spicy olive oil on the side which made eating the crust a lot more enjoyable. I ordered the grilled local tuna dish and my wife ordered the orechiette pugliesi. The tuna was very flavorful with strong hints of grilled flavor which I loved. The veggies were crunchy and not overcooked and the potatoes were delicate with crispy skin which I enjoyed very much. My wife's pasta dish had a wide variety of seafood from scallops to shrimp and calamari. All were cooked to perfection. The pasta dish was not very heavy yet was very flavorful. The manager came out a few times to check up on us and was very enthusiastic about the food and about our experience. I could tell that he really cared about the restaurant and the business. Before leaving we ordered a margarita pizza to go for later since the pizza was so good. It was definitely a great experience that I enjoyed very much and it was a great way to wrap up our trip to Bermuda.

The wine 🙌🏼 and Bermuda only wood burning pizza oven — the way pizza is supposed to be made!! Hands down, all the food was delicious. The waitstaff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is so comfortable, we felt like we could hang out all night. Will be returning.

We originally dined on Sunday and returned on Friday since the experience was second to none! The service was impeccable. The food was extraordinary. We dine out weekly and tonight was one of the top three meals I’ve ever enjoyed! My wife stated, “We’re returning to Bermuda just to experience the dining at this place!” We’re speechless!

Good prices, food, some of the best pizzas in the world and it was a joy to order them and dine onboard a boat as we sailed out into the night...!

I just had lunch at this restaurant and I cannot say enough about it. The staff is lovely and the food was great. My husband ordered a pizza and I ate some. I don't even care for pizza and it was delicious. I am looking forward to eating here again.

A light din as we entered- a sign that every diner was enjoying the food, their company and the surroundings! We had a tasting of different entrees recommended by the owner and we were not disappointed. The Burrata/arugula wood fired pizza with ham added was, “the best pizza I have ever had,” from my son. Be sure to drizzle the olive oil on it before eating! Calamari fritta with garlic bread accompanied our pizza. We chose the oxtail/ Paparella for our pasta- delicious! We were deciding between the shrimp pasta and lasagna (as recommended by the owner) and will try before we leave. The only negative is desserts- molten chocolate cake was good (but they always are), Icecream/ almond cake/ fruit salad/ sorbet were very odd. Save money on dessert and put it towards another entre or pizza. We will be back before we leave the island.

La Trattoria is absolutely amazing! I have Celiac Disease and I don't like to be a pain and request foods out of the norm so I usually stick with a salad or soup at any restaurant. However, while there this past Saturday, I asked for Gluten Free bread for my pollo. As soon as the owner heard of my predicament, they were so accommodating, he never skipped a beat, informing me that my lunch would be made with all necessary products and on a completely different surface by a different chef! I didn't expect this kind of treatment at all. The wait staff were outstanding, fast, and very friendly and the food was heavenly! Both of us truly enjoyed our meals. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal with a fantastic atmosphere! You have added numerous reasons as to why my husband and I love Bermuda so much. We definitely give La Trattoria 5 stars with no hesitation!

Excellent food and service. The music, sadly, was reminiscent of a work-out soundtrack, with a horrible beat that was the same through every song. Ugh!

This place is absolutely fabulous! I have a tree nut allergy and they were super attentive and careful, with every waiter being aware of my allergy and the owner talking to us about how their food is made. They were also very funny and it was just a really great experience. The pizza was just as good as the family restaurants I went to in Italy. In fact, it was so good that we came back the next night. This place rocks!

So far the best pizza (and pizza selection) on the island. Many other places serve 'flat bread' paninis with toppings and charge almost as much as a full pizza. The rest of the menu is varied as well. Neat service, friendly staff. Good beer and wine selection. Will visit often.

Very nice Italian restaurant with good Italian classics. Spacious. Super yummy pizza from wooden owen, tasty pasta, also gluten free options. Cute kids menu, great coffee and sweets. Very nice service. Central location in Hamilton city and great option for take out. Recommend. Only one star missing because of restrooms. Would be... bigger, newer.

Good place in the town. We had couple pasta dishes and they were very good. Pizza was just ok. Atmosphere is nice, has a charm to it. They were out of Chianti when we were there so that was a bit disappointing, but we had sone Cab wine instead, it wasn't best but doable. Overall satisfied with the dinner we had there and would recommend for both food, service and ambiance.

I was thrilled to find that they served whole wheat spaghetti with chickpea and egg plant parmigiana, my two favorite Italian dishes. Unfortunately, they only served the eggplant parmigiana dish as an appetizer, and it was expensive for the small portion. They wouldn't serve it as a dinner size dish. The sauce for the pasta dish was just OK. I have had better sauces. The pasta it self was done well. The restaurant didn't provide and bread, and when one of us asked for a second glass of wine, it never came.

Popular alley spot for pizza but we sat outside and went for a variety of shared plates, lasagna, several other pastas, fabulous desserts, and great drinks. Staff was exceptional in terms of service and especially humor. A fabulous night out for our group of five.

Edited Oct 2020: check out THIS fish sandwich! The Chicken Milanese on Ciabatta and the childrens grilled cheese is yummy! My favorite family restaurant. Staff are wonderful. Childrens menu has variety and good portion sizes.

Nice place expensive little food

An Italian restaurant that you can never go wrong with! I have been coming here for years. Great friendly service every time, and of course yummy pasta and pizza. If you like wines and you're visiting with a group, I definitely recommend ordering a "chicken" (i.e. one of their famous wine jugs).

Penne Gamberi E Arugula - Penne, shrimp, arugula and creamy shrimp bisque was absolutely amazing accompanied with a glass of Montepulciano, Zaccagnini. The restaurant is located down a quaint alley surrounded by great shops. I took advantage of the outdoor seating to satisfy my people watching experience.

I am used to the great customer service but on certain occasions I have run into age discrimination i.e. I was asked if I wanted a coloring book and when I rejected it the waiter didn’t come back with my menu. #agediscrimination #thechildstruggles

The fish chowder with pepper sherry and black rum (you add to your taste) is great item. The atmosphere is casual.

Food is always so bland! I shouldn't have to ask to use salt and garlic in my food at an Italian restaurant.

I have grown up going here, and serves my favourite pizza in the whole world! The staff and friendly and really make you feel at home.
