I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant! The sushi was delectable, the ambiance was pristine and serene, and the service was truly exceptional. I highly recommend it!

Went here during my vacation with my girlfriend. Not a fan. The ambiance is a little out dated and the food was somewhat overpriced even for Bermuda’s standards. Each diner is entitled to their own opinion, but i personally didn’t find anything wow about this place.

Delicious food and terrific service! I got the wahoo with ginger/scallion sauce (was the special) and it was really yummy. We also had the best sushi roll I've ever eaten in my life! My husband got kung Pao chicken that I didn't think was that great but he liked it ok. I don't recommend that. We also had some very good cold sake that complemented the meal very well. Would definitely return and recommend!

L'Oriental is one of Bermuda's best restaurants for Asian cuisine. The food is always VERY tasty, although a tad pricey for the portion sizes. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, although since it's such a great(see: busy) restaurant it can be difficult to get the attention of wait staff. The teppanyaki(think "Benihana/hibachi") grill is entertaining in addition to being the only teppanyaki grill on island. My recommendation is to take a healthy appetite with you or you will be upset at yourself for not finishing such a great meal!

One of the best restaurants in Bermuda. The staff were very nice and attentive. The atmosphere was lively, with chefs performing for the guests at one of the bar tables. The food was immaculate. Definitely the best of the best in terms of sushi on the island. Would highly recommend a new visitor to check this place out during their trip. Worth the price.

Great location, ambiance, service, food, and price! If you are looking for asian food or sushi in Hamilton this is the place to go! They have indoor and outdoor seating and a decently sized menu with many options. The staff is attentive and very polite. They can accommodate small and large groups, so it’s a perfect place to bring family and friends for quality asian cuisine. It’s also conveniently located down the street from a frozen yogurt/ice cream shop that’s great to go to for dessert.

I loved the open chef dinner prep. The food was just as amazing as his presentation and the overall service and ambience was awesome. This is Bermuda so everything is pricey. Our little spread, however, of two meats, vegetables and rice only cost us $45. It is a classy restaurant so dress nicely.

On a short 4 day visit to the area, wife and I share a birthday so we went out for dinner and stumbled on this place. Beautiful place excellent service and food. Staff was awesome, left feeling like it was our regular hang out. Don't walk by, be sure and give then a try.

As the name suggests - more of an Asian food generalist than that a specific cuisine specialist. A bit kore expensive than most front street restaurant, but there are generous portions. Had the good ol classic pad Thai and was one of the better ones on the island.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Bermuda. The food is always good and the service quick and pleasant. The Teppan Yaki is always a crowd pleaser. The prices is on the high side at over $100 for two.

Really really bad. Super expensive and the quality of the food is so subpar. The duck rolls we ordered were doused in some greasy sauce to the point of being inedible. The sushi rolls were not good. The General Tso’s was not with spicy sauce but with duck sauce and pepper flakes (as if they took the pepper flakes from the Italian restaurant dowsntairs). All in all SUPER expensive for really bad food. The server was nice and willing to accommodate and that’s why I give the second star, the ambiance was also nice but the food quality and price ratio was just not right.

For sure a beautiful place, but it just never seem to satisfy us that much, especially for the price. For us, is just not the best sushi place on the island. Other food options might be better, for sure haven't tried everything on the menu! The atmosphere is great though!

It was just okay at best. Teppanyaki was low energy, not what you would expect. The chef spent most of his time making takeout orders in front of us. Food is what you would expect at any takeout restaurant. Nothing special with a hefty price tag.

⚠️ L'Oriental is located at 32 Bermudiana Road. Ignore the Street View on Google Maps which incorrectly shows Par-La-Ville Road. (Google Maps has been advised of their error many times, but don't seem interested in correcting it).

All the years I have been vacationing in Bermuda, this gem was not in my go to restaurants. Their competition is fair. However the chefs at L'Oriental are equal to any major city Chinatowns. There limitations are due to the import nature of the raw materials. With what they have, their food is excellent. Tasty and good sized portions. This will be my home cooking away from home, NY.

Had dinner at this restaurant on a Friday night. The atmosphere, food and service was amazing. The duck, seafood Teppanyaki, vegetables and noodles was scrumptious. My friends had the beef and scallops teppanyaki, soup, smoked eel sushi and lots of cocktails. An awesome night was had by all.

Best Asian/ Thai food on the island. Expensive yet worth it, especially if you have a craving for thai. Try the crag spring roles. Pad thai. Green curry.
