Fantastic place for Indian food. Highly suggest getting the Palak Paneer (Saag Paneer) as well as the Chana Masala. The butter chicken is good but the vindaloo I find is better. The staff are nice and there is plentiful seating inside. The portion sizes are not what I'm personally used to but I understand the effects of shrinkflation.

Visited a couple of times. The food was fresh and really tasty. I’d recommend it for desi food. Do try their Shahi Daal and Palak paneer, they’re amazingly tasty. The service and ambiance is also fine.

Fantastic food and has been a favourite for many years. They are just celebrating 25 years which is a testament to their consistent high standards.

In Bermuda this place is best in category. Not a big fan of the look and feel in the restaurant so I usually hit the takeout counter. Reliably good food and good customer service.

Good to go

They offer both takeout and sit-in. Unlike most places that offer both, the sit-in in lovely and semi-formal and is a proper restaurant. So, whether you fancy a curry in front of the TV or want a night out to eat, here is the perfect spot! They only slight flaw is it is located in a slightly rougher part of town. However, as long as you have safe transport there and back, you have nothing to worry about, enjoy your meal!

The best place to go to for your Indian food craving! I think the place should do a little upgrade on its outside facing presentation, as it doesn't represent the place well. If I were a first time visitor to the island, it might scare me away a little as it looks a bit shady. BUT, that being said, once your inside, you are in for a treat! Delicious food and excellent service for as reasonable price. Don't get fooled by the other Indian place in town, that looks way more exclusive, I think this place has more flavor to it's dishes and better, fast service.

The chicken dish was hot and tasty, as was the basmati rice. The samosa was practically burnt and dry. The naan bread was chewy and tough - not like I remember it. The veggie pakoras were very greasy. I will have to find another spot for Indian food.

Convenient location. Food is not as good as it use to be and portions are getting smaller, might be a reaction or the world economy.

Great place for Indian takeout (they do have a dining room as well). If you want anything resembling true Indian cooking, ask for "Indian style" when ordering. Also, save a few bucks by ordering the "family style" naan bread instead of individual orders of naan.

Terrific Indian food Though somewhat out of the way in Hamilton, well worth the trip. The food was fresh and excellent. Extensive menu. Had something I've never had anywhere else - chef's special chicken tikka masala biryani, pieces of chicken tikka in rice with excellent vegetables - wish I could get this in New York. Polite friendly service.

Best Indian food in bermuda, and that is really saying something. I've eaten here weekly for about 25 years and it is always awesome. Make sure you try the lunch time buffet, and you can get every Curry "Indian style"!

House of India has become a well known and trusted source of authentic Indian cuisine in Bermuda. I especially like their masala and really love lamb which they always cook deliciously. Their breads are always fresh and tasty. The meals are always fresh, pretty fast and delicious. It is definitely my go-to Indian spot.

I ordered butter Chicken, butter garlic naan , lamb roganjosh , must say the chef’s need to improve on the cooking…… not satisfied with the food. What a waste of money and food.

We got the buffett the food was brail I saw a army in the kitchen for some reason when there was literally 5 max food items most being meat if your vegetarian go to ruby murrys in hamilton and get the family size naan

The lunch buffet here is awesome! If you have the time to sit down and eat then you can have as much as you please, or you can order as take out and they will serve you up a variety from the selection. I haven't had many things I didn't like and it has expanded my knowledge of different styles of curry. Ordering from the menu can be quite expensive and confusing so I definitely recommend the buffet unless you have very specific tastes.

Food and service is great. It's in a poorer side of the town. We were a bit uncomfortable and unsure. But this place has good reviews on yelp and foursquare.

House of India, a south asian, spicy food restaurant, located on North Street Pembroke East, is very close to the Ministry of Transport (Transport Control Department). At TCD all vehicles are licensed AND you can obtain a bike or car licence there. Barnard Park is not far away from TCD.

I was disappointed - came here for dinner and food was not very good and overpriced...service was approximative and the only food that was good was the naan... which is sad!

I am a vegetarian and frequent Indian Restaurants in various locations of the U.S. I thought the food was similar, but perhaps since I am familiar with Indian fare in the U.S., I think I favor the food in the U.S . Indian Restaurants.

Ate at about 15 different places on the island during my stay. I have to say that this was by far the best meal during my trip! Very well prepared dishes that were true to the Indian dishes i'm used to. A bit pricey though and dinner portions weren't as generous as they probably should have been.

Best curry house on the island by some distance. Never had a bad meal here and the breads are superb!

Food was ok. It was tasty, but in comparison to uk curry houses, I'd give it one or two stars. The dishes seem very different from any other curry house I've been to. The shrimp balti was very tasty and I would recommend it, but it was nothing like balti I've had in various places before. I wanted to order a jalfreizi, but didn't order it as it said no sauce (what?) and even the hot one we ordered (i forget which one) was barely a medium. Oh and don't order sag aloo. They don't use fresh spinach and instead will give you potatoes swimming in a green sauce made from frozen spinach. Reminds me of school canteen lunches back in the day...
