What
a
disappointment.
Does
nowhere
on
Bermuda
remember
how
to
deliver
customer
service
any
longer?
I
phoned
ahead
to
book
a
table,
stating
I
looked
forward
to
celebrating
our
anniversary
at
Blu.
On
arrival
instead
of
"Good
evening,
and
welcome
to
Blu"
I
was
met
with
"Habe
you
booked?
What's
your
name?"
I
offered
it
and
confirmed
I
had
-
still
no
welcome
just
a
"follow
me".
Whilst
I
didnt
expect
'top
table'
I
was
disappointed
to
be
sat
facing
a
window
into
the
resteraunt
as
far
away
from
the
view
as
possible!
A
comfortable
cushion
made
sitting
on
the
patio
chair
more
bearable.
Bit
the
plastic
table
without
either
cloth
or
mats,
was
more
akin
to
bbq
pub
food
than
fine
dining.
The
food
was
delicious
and
well
presented.
Our
waiter
attentive
and
friendly.
A
bowl
was
automatically
provided
for
shells
for
my
fish
course
yet
I
was
offered
a
dessert
spoon
for
my
soup!
However,
having
been
advised
strongly
when
making
the
booking
regarding
their
'strict
dress
code'
disappointed
this
code
of
decorum
doesn't
extend
to
others
guests
consideration
for
others,
and
that
they
are
attempting
to
offer
a
fine
dining
experience
rather
than
clubhouse
banter.
However,
this
was
also
confusing
to
see
people
arriving
to
collect
take
out
from
the
matre
de
desk!
I
was
grateful
to
receive
a
complimentary
slice
of
cake
to
share
eith
the
words
happy
anniversary
on
the
plate.
But
would
have
liked
to
be
asked
if
we
also
wanted
dessert?
Disappointed
they
only
offer
dairy
coffee
and
nothing
like
either
soy,
oat,
lactuse
alternatives.
Or,
that
nobody
asked
about
allergies!
On
asking
for
the
bill,
nobody
enquired
as
to
how
our
evening
was,
too
busy
tidying
away
our
table
literally
as
we
stood.
From
the
website
images,
and
menu,
it's
got
all
the
makings
of
somewhere
really
nice.
The
reality
is,
it's
confused
as
to
what
it
is,
or
who
it's
trying
to
serve/appeal
to?
Overal,
an
enjoyable
meal,
let
down
by
poor
service
attention
to
detail
and
lacking
in
refinement
of
customer
service.
And
certainly
not
what
I'd
expected
or
hoped
for.
With
SO
much
in
the
way
of
competition
on
the
island,
I'm
somewhere
between
shocked
and
disappointed
as
to
the
overall
apathy
and
lack
of
consideration
for
any
form
of
real
customer
consideration.
Certainly
not
the
experience
I
had
hoped
for,
and
not
one
I
would
consider
returning
to
repeat.
