The "Flame Restaurant" is my absolute FAVORITE! From Aunt Jenn's Salad to her famous fish sandwiches. Excellent customer service with exceptional food topped with the BEST view on the North Shore When you visit Bermuda, you must dine at the "Flame Restaurant".

I've eaten all over this beautiful island and if you want a traditional home cooked meal on the cheap with the best sunsets, then this is the place. The owner is the sweetest woman, providing us with a unique dinner experience.

Sadly we recently discovered the owner has passed away and the restaurant is temporarily closed. She was such a sweet lady and an amazing chef and host. The restaurant is in such a beautiful spot that we hope her family or someone else is able to take over the restaurant to carry on her legacy.

Highly recommend, the food and service was amazing. Chef John catered to our group and created the most delicious fish sandwiches. The views were amazing and food was very fresh.

After spotting a turtle I thought the highlight of my visit to Flame was going to be what was in the water. Not so, pleasantly surprised with the fish sandwich. Local fish fried to perfection and served on raisin toast with cole slaw. Wonderful! The kicker was the home made apple dumplings. Stewed, spiced apples with cake like dumplings. A taste of childhood. Couldn't beat the view. A great spot to sample what many locals like to eat.

Fine home cooking, with an Island flare. Wonderful. The patio overlooking the ocean is quiet and feels like you are visiting your friends house. A comfortable place to enjoy a fabulous meal.

Best food in Bermuda, delicious multi-component fish dinner enjoyed with great water-front views. Friendly and quick service, would happily come again. Don’t miss Flame if you’re on the island

Best view at the best restaurant we went to all week! Authentic Bermudian food and a welcoming staff!

Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Bermuda! The outdoor seating overlooks the water and provides a beautiful sunset view. The atmosphere is quiet & casual. The food itself is delicious; we loved the freshly-made burgers! To top it all off, the owners are incredibly hospitable. An overall excellent dining experience!

This is a MUST try. Amazing food, beautiful view and couldn’t ask for a better host/chef. I was born and raised on an island, so have eaten plenty of fish…hands down best fish sandwich I’ve ever had (and get it on the cinnamon raisin bread even if you’re skeptical). Chef John will make sure you have a great experience. You can feel his passion, carrying on the family business. Just a wonderful experience all around.

I just stopped by for a visit.

I had a snapper dinner with gorgeous brown rice, slaw, potato salad and beet salad, all while sitting on a clean patio over very natural setting ocean. Yum. My group had hot apple crisp with vanilla ice cream for desert. Another yum. Not sure if they serve alcohol but with the busy day and sun I had a pineapple-ginger drink that was partially iced and not too sweet. I recommend it! Good food and great view with a local feel...

Amazing food and service! John goes above and beyond to give you a great experience! Beautiful scenery, in fact the nicest view I have had at any restaurant on island. Go to this restaurant if you have lots of time and want a delicious fish meal. I will be returning on all future trips to Bermuda!

Enjoyed a delicious traditional Bermuda codfish breakfast. Was delightful. Outstanding views. Plus we fed the fish off the balcony’s edge. The Flame gives out bread crust for fish feeding and it definitely adds to way the experience.

My husband and I spotted this gem on our way from Hamilton to St. George’s. Very inviting and the service was very friendly. One of the best views in Bermuda to grab a bite at. We both had burgers and fries that were delicious!

This place is incredible! Great views and eats made even better by the friendly owner, Jennifer. We were able to feed the fish swimming below us, and enjoy a sunset. Amazingly enough we were even able to meet the fisherman, Barnesy, who caught our dinner.

This was our favorite restaurant in Bermuda. Catch the sunset on this amazing family owned water front location. Food exceeded our expectations. Casual but inviting!

Popped in this evening, absolutely superb fish sandwich, chips and a couple of beers at a very reasonable price. The owner was super friendly, made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommended

The food was good. The location was awesome, the owner let us eat in her guest home. She was very nice. There was no sign indicating how to get into the restaurant, so that was a little confusing, it looked like someone's back door.

If you're ever in Bermuda this is DEFINITELY a place worth checking out! The views were breathtaking, the food was incredible and the host was amazing! Wish I could give them more stars!

The owner insisted on serving me despite being closed, the fish was wonderful, and you could not ask for a better view. The sunset and getting to feed the fish from the balcony was a bonus.

We had a delightful grilled fish salad on the patio overlooking a pristine coast.

Decided to hop of the bus and give them a try. Absolutely worth it! Very friendly (gave us bread to feed the fish) the food was as good or better than anywhere else we ate on the island.
