One of the best dinner spots we’ve found in five years of coming to Bermuda. Truly delicious and fresh food with local ingredients and friendly service. The drinks options are also extensive and good quality! Get the seafood casserole if you like a broad range of options!

They say the devil is in the details — well, Village Panty has made sure to provide a relaxing, calm, and chic environment for you. You will immediately notice all the hard work that went into designing this place. All the cute details down to the smallest of things. Two things that made me go awww I love this!! The water carafe and wine decanter are unlike all the other restaurants on island. To me, it is the small things that make the biggest impact. Service was impeccable. Even during such a difficult time to be running a restaurant, they truly have high spirits, friendly attitudes, and even with a mask on you can see the smile in their eyes. Each table is distanced and separated with cute dividers both inside and outside. The food was so, so good. It was my very first time eating here and I will absolutely be back!

Quaint spot with a variety of menu options. Fun kids menu! We had the risotto app and local fish sandwich. The risotto was a little under cooked for my liking but the flavors were good. Very kind staff! Gratuity is included

The best restaurant in all of Bermuda. Period. End of sentence. Best breakfast / brunch , lunch, and diner. If you come to Bermuda, the restaurants you want to visit in this order are as follows; 1) Village Pantry 2) Little Venice in Hamilton, 3. BLT at St Regis 4) The Wharf Tavern, 5) Wahoos.

Village Pantry caters to three distinct tribes; the covered patio is popular for families (kids get a kick out of designing their own pizzas), the front porch is for dogs and their human companions, and inside is great for couples. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but especially popular for weekend breakfast / brunch. Great service. Even better coffee!

Village Pantry is one of my favourite restaurants in Bermuda; the breakfast and lunch menus here are the best! This restaurant is conveniently located in walking distance to The Bermuda Aquarium Museum & Zoo, so it is a great place for visitors to come and eat after a day out. This is a great family friendly restaurant, which even has a small play area for children.

Where do I start...I had dinner here and it wasn't good, my tuna tar tar wasn't fresh the green onions looked like the had been cut for days and was sitting in the fridge uncovered nothing looked and tasted fresh my steak was very fatty and chewy I was so angry my friend had fried chicken with onion rings and it was as if they fried the chicken in a dirty oil it was overcooked and very oilly it was our first time there and I don't think we'll be going back. The mussels and Mac and cheese was the only thing we enjoyed.

Went there with my grand daughter for dinner. They had separate kids menus for dinner and dessert. Even though short staffed the service was really good, prompt, and pleasantly friendly! We had our choice of seating and were checked on regularly. We sat outside near the road -with clear, plastic window enclosure....but if traffic noise is unappealing to customers, the indoor sections will be more comfortable. Prices on the higher end in my opinion, but it's to be expected in Bermuda I suppose! Decor is simple, cozy and tasteful. Bus stops are nearby if using public transport.

The best vegan options available in Bermuda! Our lunch here was the most delicious meal we've had during our week on the island--the quinoa bites, quesadilla, and avocado flatbread are highly recommended. The restaurant is located right across the street from the gorgeous Flatt's Inlet and the patio is beautifully decorated, with strings of lights and pretty white accents.

Wonderful from the calamari appetizer to the carbanera pasta with scallops. My mom had the caprese salad with the rockfish fish sandwich and enjoyed both. The chef is AWESOME! If you haven't been you are missing out.

So good we went back! Day 1 - My favorite calamari ever: crunchy coating over firm, juicy, succulent rings with a sauce to die for. Day 2 - Spinach feta pizza that we are totally going to spend the rest of our days attempting to replicate.

Food and drinks arrived same time, hot and most importantly, DELICIOUS! The staff was courteous and attentive even when it got busy. There are various menu options that we did not get to try so we'll definitely be going back. The cocktails are good, just a little "light" for my taste. Prices are in the range of what I've learned to expect eating out in Bermuda. 3 stars for the atmosphere; although the interior is pleasant, the exterior needs a loving touch and there's always a bit of struggle to find parking - most likely because everyone keeps coming back for more!

Sunday morning walk into Flatts village and stumbled upon the Village Pantry. I'm so glad I did. I originally was just going to get a coffee, but then saw the brunch menu (served most of the day on Saturday and Sunday). The Banana bread french toast and the coffee are both amazing. For Bermuda, the prices are not too bad as well Would highly and will definitely be returning.

Great healthy choice or some splurging on gourmet burgers etc. Highly recommend this as a go to place to eat! Iryna was great, our waitress both visits!

I went with my wife based on good Google reviews. Seems we were not so lucky with our experience. To start with, we wanted to start with the coconut mussel pot but there were out of it. So we asked for the quinoa and roasted beet salad and they were out of it too. So we decided to just order the main dishes. I ordered the catch of the day and it was wahoo fish and it came with 2 sides (mashed potato and Brussels sprouts). The taste was ok, but nothing special about it to pay $45. Also small size portions. My wife ordered Casablanca pizza. Was so oily. Was dripping oil. We couldn’t finish it. The drinks were good. After we finished we asked them to call a taxi for us and they did. But we waited for almost an hour till we got a taxi. I understand that the taxi is not their fault and they celled few times and we appreciate that. But still, we waited after dinner for a full hour waiting a taxi. So we felt that our experience was not great over all. Might give it another try. But not anytime soon.

Small restaurant, indoor and outdoor seating. Quiet and clean, a nice place to sit and eat after the aquarium/zoo. While the food is good and the staff is friendly, the cost is the reason for 3 stars. In comparison to other restaurants we didn't feel like the price matched the food. While the portions decent size, I feel like I could have gotten similar food elsewhere for cheaper and there wasn't anything that specifically set this restaurant apart. The chicken and fry/onion ring batter had an odd cinnamon/sweet taste to it. The wholesome bowl was a tad too oily, and I was little upset that I had asked for the dressing to be put on the side, but it instead had been added directly to the meal. I asked to have it taken back and corrected but when it was brought back, I still saw that some dressing had been left behind leading me to believe they reused some of the food from the original bowl. I will say the vegan sliders were surprisingly good and totally worth a try.

Got in late one evening and tried here on a whim to see if they could fit us in, and they did! Wonderful selection of dishes, that suited our dietary needs, with plenty of dairy-free and gluten-free options. Maksym, our waiter, was great to work with, despite us getting in so close to closing. Also went for breakfast (with a reservation this time), and really enjoyed their offerings again.

All of the reviews we had read about this place were correct - an absolute hidden gem with fresh seafood and delicious dishes. A must visit in Bermuda and right next to the railway trail for a walk before/afterwards.

  • 2/5 Philip T. 1 year ago on Google
Service and drinks were good but the Chef must have been off for the Holiday (Hero’s Day). My wife had the Vegan Burger which was inedible, and I had to send back the Home made “Ravioli” which was nothing like ravioli and was floating in some unidentified liquid. The manager took these off the bill without argument. I then ordered a pizza thinking it would be a safe option but even that was soggy in the middle. Very disappointed given the good reviews, but fortunately no ill effects!

Every single dish we had at Village Pantry was outstanding: starting with the mussels, the biryani, and the peach cobbler (which I almost didn’t get and then devoured). Service was great and fast. The (outside) ambiance is just ok, which is the only detractor.

Friendly and attentive staff, good food and my pick for best desert on the island! I don't have much of a sweet tooth but the chocolate and fig tart has all the qualities you'd want in a lover....dark, sweet, rich and a little salty.

Not what I was expecting, usually the food and service are good, but today both were terrible. First of all I order an orange juice and the server brought me a green juice that he claims was orange juice and he asked me (not in a nice way) if I had try it. I didn’t want to argue but I was pretty sure that it was not an orange juice. Food presentation was not up to the standards of this type of restaurant either I ordered a dish with fried eggs and they brought the eggs splatter all over the plate so I have to asked to a nicer server to replace my order. I will give this restaurant order be more try but I honestly can’t recommend it.

First time visiting today. We enjoyed the crab and spinach dip. My English breakfast was ok and my daughter did enjoy the codfish Benedict. The ciobatta bread was interesting. The service could have been a bit better. My regular coffee arrived about 8 minutes after my partners Cafe latte that had arrived without a spoon and my sugar took a few minutes more. It seemed a bit slow and part of it could have been due to be the waitress dealing with people on the other side of a partition. Small things but noticeable. We will be back though.

We had a reservation and had also inquired about reserved parking and were assured that we would have a parking spot, we did not. It took 15 minutes for us to get a drink and then the waitress bought me something other than what I ordered and suggested I have that instead. I ordered a fish sandwich and my friend ordered the catch of the day, at which time the waitress boldly told us we would be better off eating meat, because the fish will kill us, she then proceeded to describe to us, how it would kill us. We arrived a few minutes after 1:00 pm and did not get our meal until almost 2:30 pm, at which time we had no choice but to ask for a take out container, as I would be now late getting back to work. The short ride to work with nothing but soup in my stomach, culminated in discovering that my fish sandwich was cold and hard from the burnt raisin bread and the fries were cold. This was my first, and my last visit to the Village Pantry. For almost $120.00 and a horrible experience, I could have been more satisfied with another stale piece of banana bread from Buzz for $3.50. I have not been in Bermuda for 10 years and I can tell, you, without hesitation, that the standards, and quality have tanked and the prices have gone through the roof.

one of the best dining experiences we had in Bermuda hands-down. not only was the food delicious, but they messed up our order a bit at first and without us even expressing that it upset us (it did not, we were on vacation and didn’t mind because mistakes happen), they went out of their way to compensate us with a free drink and half off one of our meals. people in Bermuda are very kind overall, but the Village Pantry staff stood out.

  • 4/5 Danai P. 4 years ago on Google
I have been to Village Pantry a few times the last 3 years . Today I only stopped for a juice but I find the food excellent. The staff is very friendly, the facilities very clean. The reason I give this place 4 starts is because sometimes the service can be a little slow. Also, the first time I was there I was surprised to see that 17% tip was automatically added to my bill, which I then found out that most restaurants in Bermuda have similar charges.

  • 5/5 Brigitte Z. 4 years ago on Google
Excellent food (try ALL of the local fish options!), attentive and friendly staff, and an energetic, warm atmosphere. I would eat here several times a week if I lived in Bermuda and never get tired of the experience. Also, I make no promises regarding the regularity of this practice, but Laszlo, the head chef (I think?), gave us free port as we waited for our taxi!
