Truly unique. Great specials and wonderful chocolate soufflé (order when your appetizer comes so they have time). Maitre D doubles as the waiter and is charming.

It starts with the incredibly witty and funny Italian maître d’. It then evolves to some brilliant appetizers and entrées. And then concludes with one of the better soufflés I have had. The white tablecloth service is impeccable and you can feel the hundreds of years of history as you eat the delicious food. A definite must if you are on the island of Bermuda

Great, old school tavern. Very professional wait staff, for everyone that hates modern table service, go here and you'll see how it should be done. Managers bring your staff here for lessons. High caliber food in a classic setting.. Very enjoyable.. Cheers Tom Moore!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! My husband and I had dinner here on our honeymoon and everything was incredible. The food, service, and atmosphere couldn't have been any better. My husband is from Italy and the host and our waiter were italian. They both spent time talking to us and treating us like family. We felt so at home. The pork chop was the best I’ve had in my life and the salmon was amazing. It was the best way to finish our week in Bermuda and the best restaurant we visited. Your trip to Bermuda wouldn’t be complete without an amazing dinner here. Complimenti! Era tutto squisito.

First time visiting here as it was the only place open later in the day. The service was very friendly and we received our food relatively quick. The prices are pretty expensive (relative to where I’m from (Toronto)). The portions are also really small and it would take a lot more food to fill the average person in my experience there. 5/5 for the tasty food as it was made perfectly.

I was not impressed and thought it was a tourist trap. Veal Orsobucco was not impressive.

It was great to reunite with old friends and a favorite restaurant which we haven’t been to for far too long. We’ll be returning soon to enjoy the wonderful ambience, delicious food and superb service. So nice to return to the way things should be done. Thanks to Bruno and his crew. Pat & Axel xx

The rockfish, rack of lamb, lamb ragu, fish chowder, and chocolate soufflé were delicious. The service from everyone was attentive. The atmosphere is classic, romantic and it seems as if you are breathing, absorbing Bermudian history by simply being there. What a pleasant first meal in Bermuda! Thank you, Bruno, for accommodating this weary traveler and her family. We appreciate your kindness and warm welcome.

The restaurant felt past its prime and dated. Staff was attentive, menu selection was ok, execution fine but don't expect anything outstanding or creative. It's in the details were this places misses the marks. Interior could use a serious refresh. Menus were presented on single, wrinkled pieces of paper. It was particularly strange that the waiters presented the desert menu pretty much as soon as we had taken a bite from our main course. This place might be an institution on the island, however it failed to wow us and we wouldn't return.

Good first impressions from the building and location quickly usurped by the Basil Fawlty-inspired service. We had the distinct impression that the maitre d' was offended at our request to share scallops to start ($36 for 2 scallops btw). Didn't matter - we still ordered over $100 each of other food and drink. The tone was set. The wait staff (apart from the maitre d') were all very polite but were so overboard with their attention it felt like they may as well have sat down with us. Each sip of wine resulted in a top-up and being asked a question every 30 seconds. The food was expensive and average. Our 2 scallops were nicely presented but bland. My wife's spaghetti carbonara was dry, and the "crust" on my lamb was basically pure mustard powder. If you need your sinuses cleared, order that! The highlight was one waiter popping over in the middle of our main course to give us details of the dessert 'special option'. Then, after us saying we would think about it after our mains, he came back with the dessert menus and gave them to us......while we both still had half a plate of food each. Speaking of the menus - I like getting them in the form of an 8 year olds forgotten homework that has been stuffed into the bottom of a bag for a week. It's always nice reading a 'fine dining' menu from a crumbled piece of paper. To finish off the maitre d' brought our bill over and just typed in the amount on the card machine. He handed that to me before actually letting me see the bill! To summarise: Setting = lovely Food = good looking but doesn't live up to it. Drink = extortionate wine pricing Service = rude and overbearing

It was our first time to Bermuda. We noticed that TM Tavern was the highest rated restaurant on the island. It was a long taxi service from The Reefs but it was beyond worth it. We planned our day around the dinner reservations and visited St Georges. Due to rain and shop closures, we arrived at TMT over an hour early. Ian showed us to the patio and offered drinks while we waited. Even if you do not arrive early, go to the patio area and visit with Pumpkin and Smokey... the 2 establishment cats that are sweet and adore the attention. The restaurant is an old home that you arrive to by a beaten path road. It sits by a water feature and has *special* written all over it as soon as you pull up to the door. The staff is excellent. We had so much attention. At least 4 different waiters visited us for drink orders, food and table service. Bruno, the owner of TMT, was around and stopped by several times and even helped with the dessert orders. A prince of a host. The Chicken Soup was the Appetizer highlight. I would imagine that you cannot go wrong with any of the dish selections. But the Lasagna and the Ribeye were big hits at our table for the main course. For the Ribeye, be sure to order the Woody Bearnaise sauce. If the waiter tells you that it is not available, ask for Bruno. He will make it happen. Oh, full disclosure, It is a $5 upcharge but come on...you are in Bermuda. We met the chef afterwards and offered our thanks for such a great job on the meals. This place is a MUST GO while on your visit to the island. I wish I could give it a 100 Star review on the G.

This place is a hidden gem on Bermuda! We came here for a anniversary dinner with friends. Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing in flavor and perfectly prepared, from the foie gras appetizer to the salmon, tuna and rack of lamb for main course to the delicious souffles for dessert. Wonderful dining experience from start to finish sitting outside under a pergola in a beautiful setting! We will definitely return.

Tom Moore's Tavern is off Harrington Sound Road. The Lane used is Walsingham Lane, St Georges. [ Note: Babylon is about confusion. Parish names have been "flipped around" AND there is a "roll back" for parishes, to at least 1920s. For now, refrain from inserting MAJOR changes to the topography map. ( Defer to England, Westminster, for clarification)

The food was the best we have ever had in Bermuda and even home in Boston. The service was outstanding as well! We’ve been coming to Bermuda for 3 years now and have learned to expect the worst for food but this place is AMAZING!

So we spent @ $350 for six of us. The food is better than average, I wouldn't say excellent. The vegan ravioli which my wife ordered was served as spinach ravioli. They replaced it with mushroom and onion linguini since they didn't have the vegan ravioli, as stated on the menu. Good gesture, but disappointing none the less. They ended up taking both off the bill. We would have spent close to $400 had they got it right. Bruno the server was very kind, but appears to be over 70 yrs old and not in his best form. He said he has worked there for almost 30 years. Gentile italian man he was. I would go back.

Held our wedding reception here; Bruno and his staff were fantastic. Trying not to be biased, it was the best food we've had at a wedding. Enjoyed it so much, we went back for dinner the next night and the dinner menu was just as good!

An excellent 8 course dinner to bring in the New Year. The food is always good and the service excellent. Pleased to see it full even with the strong competition from so many restaurants on the island.

We regularly go to Tom Moore's Tavern. We once spent New Year's Eve there with friends and had a most wonderful time. From the moment we arrive, the service is exceptional. The food is always delicious and never fails to be an enjoyable experience. The ambience is quite extraordinary with it's traditional rooms and outdoor terrace. Tom Moore's incredible history, and beautiful serene setting makes for an excellent atmosphere and time spent there. Bruno and his wonderful team are always happy to please their customers, delightfully friendly, and helpful with food choices and wine. Most of all they are extremely welcoming. We look forward to dining there again very soon. Highly recommended. Best and oldest restaurant on the island.

My first time visiting and I had an amazing meal tonight. I am gluten free- they have many options marked on the menu. They brought me gluten free rolls to start (upon request) and they were unique and delicious and their olive tapanade was to die for! I ordered the salmon and it was easily the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life; the flavors worked so well together, it was perfectly balanced and seasoned- I ate every bite! It looked beautiful too. The staff and service was impeccable and accommodating. It is pricey, but everywhere in Bermuda is! Worth the extra $5/ dish for the quality. GO!
