This is my second time patronizing the Bone Fish Grill and I must say I have not had any bad food experiences. The food and drinks are great. The service was a little slow but the wait was worth it. I had the BBQ Candy Beef Brisket with Sweet Potato Fries. The waiter did warn me that the Brisket was small but I was still surprised at the size. None the less, it was fantastic. I wish they served it as a main dish. I followed up with bruschetta as I was still feeling a bit peckish. My fellow diners ordered ribs and tacos. They were both happy with their purchases. Definitely would be a patron again. Uploaded some amateur photos for your viewing pleasure.

Stop by here after getting off the ferry to have a couple of drinks at the bar before continuing on our route. there was fairly quick service even though the restaurant was full of customers at the front door.

The place to be. The best way to end your trip to Hamilton. We heard people raving about this place on the ferry and decided to hit it up. My girlfriend and I had at least six things on the menu and each were to die for. If you come to Bermuda you cannot miss the Bonefish.

Fodor’s guide to Bermuda mentions them but says service is slow! What nonsense. Maybe when ships are in and it’s jam packed but so is everywhere. We visited tonight and service was very fast friendly and efficient. We ordered the shrimp and scallops which my wife said was excellent and I was in the mood for curry so ordered the tikka curry served with basmati rice and papadum which was also excellent . For dessert we ordered the rum cake and along with moscato we were served some lemonchello . Service was excellent with the team especially from South Asia . From Anthony from Bangladesh to his colleagues from Goa, Chennai, Delhi...all were excellent friendly and very hard working. They all praised their owners from Bermuda and Italy as with their hard work they get to go back to their home countries during the winter. So all you desis who read this, visit this place along with the 2 others the owners has and chat with these hard workers who have given up so much working on single status to take care of their families back home. A definite recommend for excellent food service and value. This place jams when the ships are in.

We visited this establishment 09/26, 09/27 & 09/28. Each time we came, Michelle was our waitress. Michelle took care of our group of 10 multiple times with extremely EXCELLENT customer service. She displayed a positive, friendly & welcoming attitude. She made phenomenal food and drink recommendations. She was patient, kind, accommodating and genuine in every way. Her smile & kindness could light up an entire amphitheater!! She was just…absolutely incredible. What an authentic, wonderful human she is!! Please take good care of her! She is a keeper. She went out of her way to consistently please us & ensure that we had a WONDERFUL experience at your restaurant. Also, all of her young men that brought us our drinks, they did a fantastic job keeping up with our needs as well. Thank you so very much hiring and retaining wait staff as Michelle. She made our 3 days in Bermuda absolutely WONDERFUL! PS — the food and drinks we also incredible! Fresh, hot & plentiful!!

The food was shockingly good. I'm leaving a review 2 months later..... it was that memorable. If you're on RC and want a quick bite before departing, this is definitely worth going to. We went in with no expectations. Although the prices are a bit high, you're definitely paying for quality. If that's not worth it to you, then ... 🤷🏻‍♀️ If I'm ever in Bermuda again, I'll definitely make the effort to eat here again.

Located closest to the dock, nice place with plenty of options. Ordered chicken, ceasar salad and Alfredo pasta - all of them were made nicely. Service gets slow when busy but a lively place. They serve alcohol as well and juices. View of the harbor is spectacular from the harbor side seating arrangement.

Food was hit and miss, great onion rings & French fries and shrimp. Wahoo didn't seem the freshest. Calamari was blah... Server never returned, had to get check and to go box from bus servers. Waiter never checked on food or drinks and waited over 30 minutes from time finished eating to get our check, which included a 17% gratuity, I guess that explains the lack luster service...

Our purpose for stopping here was 4-fold. 1) to get something to snack on 2) to write out postcards 3) to drink a local beer 4) to use the ladies room. As the song says, 3 out of 4 ain't bad. We njoyed our nacho snack and drinks but the bathroom is upstairs - stairs being the key word. Not great for the mobility impaired unfortunately. Still we ate a snack, wrote the postcards, had a drink and got decent service. Walked a little ways to the public bathroom with only one toe-grabber step. Then back to the ship! Probably would have given 5 stars, except for the inaccessible bathroom.

We had lunch here after visiting the national museum of Bermuda. The food and the service were excellent. The only issue was that they were under renovations so going to use the bathroom was like doing a life size maze. Definitely a good place to eat though if you're visiting the dockyard.

Visited this restaurant three times while the cruise ship I was on docked nearby. I especially liked the BBQ wings on my last visit. The fish and chips were average though. The local draught beer was good. It's always busy there, so service may be a little slow but the staff is friendly. It's a very large restaurant with two outdoor seating areas and two indoor seating areas. They have live music in the evenings. When I return I'll definitely go back here.

Only been here once and it was just OK. Prices were high even for Bermuda, maybe cause its the closest to the dockyard Ships, when in port.Beer prices for local beer was too much.

Stopped at Bermuda and had dinner since our ship was staying overnight. AMAZING FOOD! we had the steak, cooked to perfection along with Pizza which was really good and Fried Calamari- the sauce is to die for! The staff was friendly, the drinks were worth the price as they didn’t skimp on the rum and the owner/manager shared a shot with us! Definitely recommend to any who stops in Kings Wharf. We’ll be coming here again next trip!

Food was good but they were very busy and not enough staff. Waited a long time for a table, then had to wait a long time for a server. Mid way through the meal I had to go wait in line at the bar to get drinks since the server never came back

Stopped in after a sunset cruise for dinner. The fish sandwich was very, very good....one of the best I have ever had. Fish was delicate and served on raisin bread (who knew that would ve good?) and had veggie slices as well. Sandwich was a nice size and fine to share. Our entire table was quite happy with everything ordered and I highly recommend. It's pricey, but most things in Bermuda are....at least you get a good fish sandwich out of it!

Ordered a red wine glass (13 usd)... what a disappointing experience. I've been in other countries and the price for a glass of wine is way less but with superior quality. The taste of the served wine (merlot) tasted as if it was watered down with water. The glass was wet as if it was recently rinsed with water but was not completely clean, even some finger marks were visible when yhe glass arrived. The waiter will come to you after 3 minutes to ask if you want to order already. I will just try to finish the wine and move to another restaurant. Hopefully another customer will get more luck than me.

Went there and had dessert while waiting for the Ferry. Ordered chocolate cake with ice cream. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the chocolate cake...it was not actually cake...wouldn't order it again...left half. Friend ordered cheesecake...left half also. Not a good dessert experience for either of us. Wait persons very friendly though.

Lobster Taco is delicious, waitress is kind: when I see a ferry outside and asked "Is it the last ferry?" She notified if I missed it I have to go back to Hamilton by bus. Then I choose to take food away. She also exchanged note (paper money) for me when I asked for some Bermudian money for commemoration.

Very expensive place to eat lunch. Sandwiches were around $20 - $25 and drinks were $15 and my Bahama Mama was watered down. They do have two nice patios. Restrooms are NOT handicap accessible. Should have gone to the street vendor selling hot dogs across the street, and saved $100. We had two Bahama Mama's, a beer, and two fish sandwiches. Tips are included on your bill.

Loved the food & drinks! My husband especially enjoyed the Fish Sandwich, said it was his favorite thing about our trip at that moment. Our waiter was awesome, too!!!

  • 1/5 Dan R. 4 years ago on Google
The lobster tempura appetizer had a nice sauce but was deep-fried to the point of being soggy. The St Louis "smoked" ribs appeared to have been boiled prior to smoking, to the point the meat was essentially mush. The rice had been sitting for so long it was like eating a paste and still held the shape of the spoon it was plopped on the plate with. The salad came pith a pesto sauce that was all in all a mismatch for the meal and not appetizing in the least. The best part of this meal was the free bread and olive oil at the start. Not worth what it will cost you to eat here. The Frog and Onion is quite close and far more value.

Went over with my 20 year old as he was excited to drink legally ( Bermuda drinking age is 18 as opposed to 21 in the US) . So we sat at the bar and had a few. I've worked at bars and restaurants so a few red flags popped up as we drank. Service...not exceptional. Two of the bartenders were more focused on socializing than taking order so a drink order would take about 10 minutes when they got around to it. The smell leads me to believe, the bar area is unsanitary ( We didn't have food so this is strictly pointed at the bar area, not anything to do with food). One of the cardinal rules we had in the bar business was never to put a glass in the ice bin as it could break, then you had to replace all the ice. They were placing the cocktail glasses straight into the ice bin and sure enough, one broke. The Bartender scooped out the main part and one other piece and went about his business. That was the last of our drinks with ice. My son had about his limit and requested more from the Bartender to which I said no, he had had enough and the Bartender had the balls to them ask "what's your age, do you have your own credit card?" which my clearly drunk son responded 20 and yes, to which the Bartender poured a shot for him. So that was it for us. The Bartender then did some other unsavory acts that I won't go into detail, but needless to say, the guy from Bar Rescue would probably end up firing him if they did the show there. So the food is probably fine and the female bartender did a good job, but they may want to relook at some of the others if they want to avoid lawsuits or getting someone very sick.
