A beautiful area to go for a walk or run. Enjoy the birds and history lesson along the way. Also, once a year (not every year) there is some sort of algae bloom here and the pond turns pink — and let me tell you, it really smells foul but it is way worth the view. Last bloom I was present for was end of July into August of 2020

Very nice park to walk around and get some views. On one side you have the pond which changes colors and then the other side is the ocean. There are some nice tide pools here, just make sure you’re wearing sturdy shoes when climbing because some rocks are very sharp. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, natural reserve to stroll through and clamber amongst the rock formations. Lots of informative signs detailing the plants & wildlife in the area and other interesting things to see.

Beautiful walk and fun rock climbing. Great place to sit, paint, take photos, picnic, and exercise. A fav among dogs.

This is an awesome place in Bermuda. If you ever get a chance to go don't miss this location. Out of the way off the beaten path but definitely well worth the walk

I walk the path at Spittal Pond on every visit, partly because I like the name but mostly because of the great view from Portuguese Rock (dated 1543).

Spittal Pond is a wonderful place to explore nature trails, watch for birds, see some historic landmarks and take in the beauty of Bermuda's South Shore. At the right time of year (March / April) you may even be able to see Humpback whales breaching from the coastal trails! Definitel a great spot for an afternoon walk!

Very nice place to walk and see a diversity of species not found elsewhere in Bermuda. The trail bring you very close to the ocean a couple of time, with different view of the south shore and a very Rocky shore for this part of the island. It is a very different environment compare to the rest of the south shore. Of course, no beach. You can certainly count at least 1 hour to do the tour if you walk a steady pace. But if you stop and enjoy the view, it's a 2-3 hours activity. Our kids really enjoy this trail and this place.

Beautiful. The sound of the crashing waves and cool end of summer breeze. Plenty of trails and a little climbing.

A wonderful walk around a natural area of the island with breath taking views, wild life, ocean, woods and a special geological area of interest with history of whaling.

While the pond itself is interesting from an ecological perspective, the trail and the extraordinary views are what makes it worth checking this place out. We were lucky enough to catch the humpback whale migration; saw around 8 to 10 including a couple of huge breaches. The history of the island is yet again on display with Portuguese Rock and Jeffery's cave. Take the #1 bus to get there.

Love walking and hiking here when in Bermuda since quiet, beautiful scenery. You can make this walk/hike challenging by taking the paths less travelled or take paths that have a flatter terrain however to get the view of the ocean, you have to walk on the rocks or go uphill.
