Gorgeous place on Bermuda Island. This place is full of fantastic plants, includes exotic plants and sceneries. Very serene, and peaceful. Family trip to Bermuda, spend hours here just relaxing and enjoying the folage and scenes. Love it. You should definitely visit. See pictures and video.

This is one of the most beautiful gardens with so many unique plants and flowers that we don’t have at home in Canada. Our favourites were the African potato tree, the frangipani garden and the hibiscuses.

We had a wonderful visit to the garden. We strongly suggest the guided tour. It would amplify your pleasure and knowledge. They are every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 10h30 am at the parking of the visitor center. The duration is 90 minutes, but we end up staying another hour with our guide to complete the tour of all the garden. She was absolutely fantastic.

Nice park. There were many families picknicking, even celebrating a birthday.

Although the regular tour is not happening, one of the staff gardeners escorted a group of us around the gardens. Enjoyed learning about local.plants and trees

Some interesting plants, but no Kew Gardens. Maintenance a bit disappointing.

Sad example of a botanical garden. Poorly maintained plants. Some are diseased and dying. Weeds everywhere. The few remaining signs to guide visitors or identify plants are mostly faded and unreadable. No evidence of work being done to maintain the plants or paths.

The online write-up for the place made it seem like it had a lot to offer. When we arrived, we found that it was in terrible disrepair. Buildings were closed. Gardens were dead or overgrown. We saw five workers. None of them were working.

Great place to take young ones to get the energy out. Beautiful place on the island.

The specimen trees are amazing, especially the banyan. But the grounds are poorly maintained, the signage is nonexistent, and most of the key attractions were destroyed by a hurricane in 2005 and never rebuilt. Visitor center was closed. Worth it to drive around and look at the trees, not worth a tour or to get out and walk around much (cactus slope was worth a look). The fact that it is free is a plus.

This is a lovely, well tended garden. If you get the chance to do a tour, it's great. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and a lovely man full of interesting facts. Thanks!

We visited while in port on NCL Escape cruise in May. We are from MD. The gardens were being prepared for summer visitors. Visitors center was still closed as were some of the other buildings. The lower gardens were starting to look lovely as flowers and shrubs were blooming, I think we would have enjoyed this more if we came back in a few weeks. We saw locals picnicking and they do have a playground.

Went in September and was kind of underwhelmed. Tours don't run on Sundays but you can still walk around on your own.

I love the place because it's cool you can have a picnic when kids are playing

Don't visit in November! A few flowering shrubs. A sad air of neglect and lack of funds. Former bird & animal cages should be removed, gardens weeded, signage updated, eg.we couldn't find the "glass house" .

This is great place. One can go along with family at any time. On Sunday they have farmer's market where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables at much cheaper cost. They do also organised couple of events for ex The AG Show. I have been to this show and turned out to be a memorable one.

Beautiful garden. I would love to go back and take the guided tour, the grounds are a bit run down, but it's a fantastic place to go to.

Has potential, but flower beds need tended to more. Works were going on whilst there to improve the gardens

Lovely peaceful gardens, not an easy walk from Hamilton as busy road and some places no pavement but gardens themselves well worth a visit. Free entry and nice gallery well worth viewing

Ive been fortunate enough to visit many botanical gardens in the world and I'd say this wasn't the best. Perhaps it was the weather on the day too but it was a bit open spaced and the footpath routes were a little boring.

    A lovely experience

This place is not for December. I bet it is pretty when everything's in bloom, but except for a few impressive strangler figs, it's not worth going out of your way for at this time of year.

Great place to take a walk or bring your lunch. I would recommend spending some time sitting in different spaces

  • 2/5 Thomas B. 3 years ago on Google
Largely overgrown with lots of dead or dying trees, uneven walkways, and outdated signs. It’s a fine park for eating lunch on a sunny day but it’s just that, a rundown park

  • 5/5 Scott A. 3 years ago on Google
Told head gardener to plant some double fantasy freesia flowers by spring!!

  • 5/5 Jessica R. 4 years ago on Google
I love the Bermuda Botanical Gardens. I stop by sometimes to just sit, enjoy the surroundings and have lunch. It is a beautiful place to walk around. There is a lovely art gallery in the gardens called Masterworks which is also definitely worth a visit.

    Beautiful. Nice for walks

  • 5/5 Rudy S. 4 years ago on Google
The grounds are beautifully kept. I know it's the winter season so I didn't expect to see a ton of flowers at this time but it is still nice to walk around and take some great pictures. I'd love to see what it looks like in the warmer weather
