A must see in Bermuda. Chair and umbrella rental was $10 per item. They do sell food and drinks.

Horseshoe Bay beach and the surrounding coves and beaches are bucket-list worthy. To be honest, most of Bermuda's beaches are 'that gorgeous'. No photoshop just #unfiltered beauty. Go and see for yourself.

Tiny beach on the right side of Horseshoe Bay beach. Good for family with small kids because looks like a pool. There are absolutely no waves and water is warm and clean. We used natural shade from trees and rocks.

I’ve grown up in Bermuda, and yes, this beach is GORGEOUS. Very safe for kids as far as beaches go and you can rent chairs/you can get food, which is cool because these don’t apply to many other public beaches in Bermuda. HOWEVER, it can get very busy in the summer because this is the beach all the cruise ships get told to go to etc. Definitely a must to go here once, maybe twice, but make sure to check out all of the other beautiful beaches Bermuda has to offer!

Absolutely beautiful with a few different areas beyond the rocks. There's waves for surfing and calm areas for young children. This beach has facilities but the café / bar are seasonal.

I came here so many times and always enjoyed the famous pink sand and turquoise waters. loved the waves, beach also has life guards there it was never crazy busy unless you have a cruise ship docking on the island and a load of them want to enjoy the beach. then it's get crowded but other than that hands down, what a beautiful beach. Beach has a grill with some good burgers and stuff at great prices, be aware they close the grill sometime 2 PM.

This place was great. The sand was so soft and there were no shells cutting up your feet on this beach. If you walk on the jogging path you will get to a cliff with crazy views. Seen in the pictures I posted below. Highly recommend going to this place the water is also really calm great for little kids

Wonderful and fun beach with pink sand, shallow water, coves around the beach, decent space to sun tan. In winter the bar and eating options are not available. Water is clear and good for snorkeling. The coast goes to long bay beach, jobsons cove as well. One of the better beaches in Bermuda hence busy in summers.

Horseshoe Bay is a well-known beach in Bermuda. As a tourist spot, it lies on the main island's south (Atlantic Ocean) coast, in the parish of Southampton.Bermuda welcomes a great many cruise ships annually, bringing thousands of holiday makers to its shores. They are all set to take a tour and experience the exciting attractions of Bermuda. The most visited tourist spot on the island, however, is said to be the beautiful Horseshoe Bay Beach. It attracts more visitors than any other destination. I cant remember how many time i been there. always I got great experience. as a result when ever I get time I go there for relaxation. specially summer time i can't express myself....... music, game, swimming, food........ really its great.

An amazing beach with pink sand and beautiful waters. Very scenic and a great place to spent the day. Went there during a cruise. Locals in Bermuda were super friendly. Taxi was 32 each way fro the port. When worth it.

Horseshoe Bay Beach is my favorite vacation beach with my family. Rocks to climb and dive off of. Caves to walk very carefully through. Food, music and fun. Jumping waves, snorkeling and more. Making sand castles and basking in the sun. Make sure you bring lots of sunscreen, an umbrella and or a blanket to lay out on. ENJOY!

Quaint little post office, worth visiting to buy some stamps for your postcards home, and step back a couple of hundred years in time. Kudos to BPO for maintaining this working, historic site so well. Courteous and helpful front counter service (but don't tell the Bermuda Industrial Union or their members will be admonished for breach of Industrial Policy).

One of Bermuda's most famous beaches. A must see to any tourist and all time of most locals at some point in their lives. Where the foreign and local mix well!

Possibly the most beautiful beach I've ever been to in my life. It had everything from pink sand to clear crisp water and seeing fishes by your feet. It even had great rock cliffs to take pics. Beach was dope!!!

I visited in December but water was not too cold. It's the best area of scenic beauty I've seen in Bermuda. I took a bus #7 from Hamilton bus terminal and 20 minutes to reach.

beautiful beach with good facilities but can get crowded with cruise ship vacationers. go to the farther end and pass a few boulders where no beach chair rentals are for less crowds. middle beach, waterrock beach and angle beach

Transportation to the beach from our hotel was seamless and stress-free. It was a clean, well-maintained beach. The path to the beach was so well constructed. Parking was available and rest rooms were very clean. Recycle bins were located in great spots. The waves were also much tamer for the time of the year and the view was spectacular. See for yourself.

This is by far Bermuda's most famous beach. With this comes interesting consequences. Two cruise ships arrived on Monday morning and many passengers were heading to Horseshoe Bay Beach. Contrary to popular belief, this is not the only beach in Bermuda and a brief search on Google will show you others. Friends of the Azure of the Seas mentioned that's where they were going because it was the only beach mentioned to them. The beach experience can be less enjoyable having to climb over THAT many people. By all means enjoy Horseshoe Bay, but definitely do your homework regarding other less populated areas. The amenities here are top notch, including beach rental options, concession stands, clean lavatories and changing rooms, outdoor water stands for showering and rinsing sand off. Drink options and hot food are convenient. Transportation arrangements would be helpful prior to arriving.

  • 5/5 Rob H. 4 years ago on Google
On a Tuesday or Friday afternoon would be an ideal time to visit as the cruise ships tend to leave and so the beach is far more quieter. Also if you take a walk to the far right side around the rocks there is another small cove. Lovely on a sunny day.

    An absolutely beautiful beach

  • 5/5 Benjamin M. 3 years ago on Google
One of the best beaches on the island and in my opinion, the prettiest! It has bathrooms with shower facilities, a restaurant and bar on-site, equipment rental (chairs, umbrellas etc.) And it's easily accessible on one of the main bus routes. It even has a little beach cove (nicknamed 'baby beach') which is great for families with small children as it's more shallow and the water is calmer. The only downside is that it can get too busy when the cruiseships are in.

Some of you reading this review might know or not know that the some of the South Shore beaches were badly damaged by hurricane Paulette and a week later by hurricane Teddy. On some beaches all the sand was washed away. It’s been three weeks and today I revisited some of the beaches and can report that the sand is slowly returning through tidal actions. Some of the beaches have not had any sand return but there are a lot of other beaches to choose from.

Beautiful public beach. One of the most beautiful I have been too. The rocky area is so cool to walk around in. And then there are good areas to just sit in the water.

While it may be one of the most popular beaches on the island, Horseshoe Bay has a hidden secret: Port Royal Cove (pictured), which has shallow water perfect for young kids, and dramatic rock formations that complement wonderfully soft, pink sand. Nearby Spicelands Equestrian Centre even offers trail rides down to the private cove, which is located in part of South Shore Park in Southampton Parish. Where to stay: The Reefs Resort & Club, ranked the tenth best Atlantic islands resort in our latest Readers' Choice Awards survey. There’s a smattering of cottages, rooms, and suites to choose from, but we personally love the Point suites: Decked out with warm tropical wood, cream-colored linens, and coral accents, they also feature their own private balcony—with a hot tub—overlooking the beach.

It’s a popular place for tourists. During the day in the summer time it’s packed. I prefer to visit early mornings and late evenings. It’s a beautiful spot to relax and have a swim.

Absolutely lovely beach. We made an unscheduled visited February so the temperatures were a little cool for comfort, but we're Canadian, so made the best of it and called it refreshing. The beach was clean and sand was beautiful. There were some fun areas to explore and even found a few Man-of-wars that had washed up on the beach in the far cove area, so be careful when exploring. We would definitely return - especially during the warmer seasons.
