The Whale Bay is a secluded clean beach in Southampton just before Sandy's. The bay has a park nearby where you can have a wonderful picnic and enjoy the sunset. The view of the turquoise blue water of the ocean is spectacular!

A very nice park with a old fort (terrific view from there), picnic tables and a beach you can access passing through the rock.

The park is large and grassy, great for a picnic. Lots of public parking. There is a very narrow (but long) strip of beach at the base of this park. It is not a particularly remarkable or memorable beach, but still worth a stop if you’re looking for a quiet place walled off by some rocks. An old fort (adjacent to the golf course) is also accessible from the park. It’s a quick visit for some photos and great views at the top.

Perfect place to spend a day. Easy swimming and sightseeing, and not over populated with tourists or locals. You'll need to bring your own towels, chairs (not necessary), food and drinks.

Lovely water views! One of best spots to enjoy a nice book or to just get away and swept away by the view and the breeze.

West Whale Bay Park is located at the very end of Whale Bay Rd. It consists of a small grassy area and access to a small beach. The beach itself isn’t very big. At low tide there is much more of the beach exposed, at high tide there is almost no beach exposed.

Beautiful, quiet beach. No amenities but the scenery outweighs that.

Great location for a picnic and access to the Battery area. Great views. Very small beach area so when surf is up, not a safe location to enter. A lot of rocks at beach, but park is awesome! Plenty of room at park for “pop up” and outdoor games.

Beautiful hidden beach. Watch out for high tide, rough water. Nice picnic tables if you want to sit and eat.

Not much of a beach at high tide but beautiful and picturesque regardless. Off the beaten track.

Small nook of a beach but beautiful! Explore around the rocks for some private locations.

Well kept secret, that everyone knows on the South Shore romantic little beach and grounds, where you can have a lovely family pinic or just by yourself!!!

It's unfortunate but this hidden gem is washed out (the beach anyways). On this visit it was over run with sea weed & jelly fish because of the winds. No sand to sit on anymore due to erosion, very sad.

(Translated by Google) Paradise place !!! The people are courteous. On several occasions I was offered to give directions for my way. Very clean. The landscapes are breathtaking. (Original) Endroit paradisiaque!!! Les gens sont courtois. À plusieurs reprises ont m'offrait de me donner des indications pour mon chemin. Très propre. Les paysages sont à couper le souffle.

We have been here before and the beach was stunning. Unfortunately, on this visit it was covered with seaweed - not very appealing for sitting or swimming. One those things, still worth a visit. The park area above makes for an excellent picnic stop.

Another beautiful Bermuda beach. Perfect for watching the sunset in the winter.
