Beautiful view! Friendly staff! Clean rooms! I think for the price you can not beat this place to stay. Things to consider. Very steep hills to walk up and down so if you have mobility problems you may want to go elsewhere. Also there is only food from Thursday- Sunday so any other day you need to go out or order take out. Rooms are dated with a golden girls vibe. I actually loved it but some may not like it as much. Overall I am very happy. Lovely place!

Cole at the front desk made our day by accommodating us last minute and providing us access to the beach, beach chairs and towels. After visiting the Horseshoe beach and seeing it overcrowded with all the American tourists, we went to elbow beach that didn’t provide beach chairs/umbrellas. So we ended up here around the sunset. Cole, you are the best!

The location is amazing. The rooms are a little outdated but the beds are comfortable and the rooms cool off quickly (no coffee maker). The amenities are very much lacking. We had issues with getting beach towels daily and a majority of the chairs on the beach were broken. We did not see a lot of staff on the property and the beach area was not kept up (used towels everywhere, chairs not rearranged, beach not cleaned up of trash) Not sure why its called a resort when really it was more like a hotel. They had a courtesy golf cart to take you to the main street which was broken on our second day there. Its a hike from the hotel to the main street because of the hills especially in the heat so the golf cart would have been key. The women at the front desk were amazing with giving out information and helping you schedule events but the men at the front desk in the afternoon were challenging. They were not helpful and half the time gave you an attitude for asking questions. For the price in comparison to other hotels/resort it was a bargain you just have to be mentally prepared that its not a resort.

This review is for those considering a day pass... I booked a day pass for $110 with high hopes, but was sadly disappointed. I could not believe it, but it's true that you can't even use the hotel towels for that price... The place was pretty with a lot of statues, but it was very dated and a bit run down, in desperate need of updates/renovations. The beach was nice, but the stairs to go down were old and worn and sometimes crooked. There were also areas of the beach where you could see broken concrete. The beach loungers were supportive, but again, some were broken. I'm sure this place was beautiful when they first opened... I assumed I would not encounter food issues as other reviewers had since I was not subject to a time constraint. Unfortunately, I was wrong... the free 2 course lunch that comes with the day pass is the bare minimum. First of all they have 2 different menus. If you're visiting with a day pass, they won't even let you see the other menu, not even to order food and pay for it. The day pass menu is so basic, consisting mostly of sandwiches (that don't mention fries or sides of any sort). I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was literally only seasoned with salt. They did not include the vegetable it was supposed to come with or even tartar sauce... just fish & chips, literally... we ordered the sherbet for dessert that was supposed to come with cream and fruit.. we never even saw dessert & of course the restaurant conveniently closed once we received our orders. Other customers who were staying at the hotel were also dissatisfied with their food/orders... Cambridge beaches let's you use their facilities for free with spa service, willowbank, grotto bay and many other comparable resorts offer day passes for a fraction of the cost. I thought at least the food and service would justify the hefty price tag to spend the day at this resort, but it's really a complete ripoff!

I loved being on the beach. The view from my room was absolutely amazing. The housekeepers do an amazing job and are very efficient. The grounds are very well maintained. The furniture is from the "Golden Girl" era, but overall I had a wonderful wonderful time and would stay again. Oh and the drinks are DELICIOUS. They also have a service fee for everything, so bring a little extra cash.

rennovations are on-going. The wait and housekeeping services are thorough and personable. The front desk staff is attentive. The location on the south shore is gorgeous, centrally located, and close to bus service.

Stayed one night due to bad weather and a canceled flight. had a great view from the room, however, the room was full of ants. Breakfast was very disappointing. There was no bacon, no bagels in fact four things we ordered were not available. Coffee was cold. Very pleasant waitress was very embarrassed and said she had no one to complain to. Very disappointing would not recommend.

Amazing location on a very private beach. This is some of the best swimming you can find. Quiet, but within walking distance to a great restaurant next door and a local market. Next door to the local college. The restaurant and bar are quiet but very good. You can take a taxi easily to any of the towns on the island. The staff is very professional and friendly. It seems like the locals are very friendly. Don't forget to pack a bottle opener and lots of sunscreen.

This was the worst vacation I’ve ever had! I’ve been to Bermuda many times but this was my first time here and my last. My ocean view room was full of ants, counters, showers, everywhere. The room was outdated but the worst of it was that outside my ocean view room were toilets! The loud music playing from the workers next door wasn’t the way anyone would like to wake up on vacation. Food was absolutely horrible. It took anywhere from 30min to 45 min to get food and it wasn’t seasoned at all although prices are very high. Unreal. I had to move the bed just to plug in my phone to charge. Just awful! One of the women who worked the front desk was short with me when I needed help finding a place to eat because the one restaurant there was only open at certain times. She told me to download an app like I was from around there and knew how to use it. I didn’t and ended up paying for food from too far away and it cost me $60 for a small meal due to travel.

My family and I so enjoyed our stay at Coco Reef Resort Bermuda that I feel compelled to write about it. The property was beautiful, the staff (especially Cathy) were very kind, friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff were superb and the food was delicious. The view we had was fabulous. We will most certainly return to Bermuda and to this resort. This was one of our favorite vacations!

We got the day pass, coming from the cruise port. It was very far from the port, and it was a GHOST TOWN. The beach and pool were gorgeous, the place was clean as well. Lunch is at 12 and the bar opens at 11. Waited over an hour for our food, never got it because we were gonna be late for the ship. Drinks were overpriced, no towels included either. Zero hospitality whatsoever, we want our money back. That’s $110 x8 people, waste of money and TIME. Don’t come here.

We were a group of 8 purchasing a "resort for the day pass" coming to port on a cruise. Upon arriving the entire lobby was under renovation with workers everywhere and materials all over the floor. We didn't see a hotel guest at all and felt we were the only party there. No-one met us on the beach for assistance as promised by the front desk. No towels are included! Restaurant food was good and service there was wonderful. Unfortunately I do not recommend this for a good resort experience for the monies we paid for "Resort for a Day"

Stay at the lower buildings for just a fabulous view of the beach and open your door to a nice 3 minute walk to the beach. Not the biggest beach but nice none the less. The rooms are nice for the price, the restaurant is ok, the waffles for breakfast were very good, the omelette not so good. The curry was terrible try something else. The staff was very nice. I would recommend this place. The drive to the airport is about 30-45 minutes and cost about $45.

This wonderful place is really a 4.4 rating. The most beautiful lavish grounds. Great beach, really nice pool. Really nice people especially shaunty at the front desk. All smiles and whatever you need. I see other people writing that the rooms are outdated. Maybe the bathroom a little. It's spotlessly clean. Wicker furniture fits the beach theme. I had no problem with anything. The menu could be better but they just reopened a few weeks ago so I'm sure they'll get there. We had an incredibly relaxing time. I would go back in a minute.

Such splendid staff, the front desk was incredibly helpful. We even left our key at a neighboring restaurant during dinner, and when we arrived back at our room realizing the key was gone, low and behold the front desk lady and maintenance man had driven over to our room to open the door for us within minutes! Apparently the restaurant called mentioning we had left our key. I cannot say enough good things baout the staff, even the maintenance personnel were amazing. Elbow beach is literally steps away, and makes for such a wonderful location. My only tip for inbound guests is to never have the front desk book a taxi in advance unless you are ready to leave right away. Taxi drivers will run the meter as soon as they pull up and the $$$ can easily rack up. Better yet, call a taxi from your phone in the room or if you have roaming data, install the Hitch app (that works sort of like uber).

I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. The oceanfront view was absolutely breathtaking. The room itself had a nice decor, but the bathroom could use updating. In addition, to stay warm during chilly days or nights, an electric heater had to be used. The television literally has one channel so I am glad I had my own Netflix. The staff are nice though limited, and work only from 9 to 5. A guest should not have to request towels daily or ask for the trash to be removed. In addition, I never saw the security guard on patrol.Their dining rooms and pool are closed. I was disturbed by hair on my bed and floor upon arrival. The room did not seem to be dusted or mopped. Cleanliness should always be a priority, especially during this pandemic. The hotel really needs to work on these areas because its pricing is quite high for such discrepancies. A 7-minute taxi ride to Hamilton for shopping and eateries. There is also a market within walking distance. Bermuda is very organized through the COVID testing process, but unfortunately, most attractions are closed due to the pandemic. I will have to visit this beautiful island another time to appreciate its full history.

Very beautiful location! Very friendly and approachable attitude displayed by the resort staff. Good amenities provided. Bit of upgrades required, though it has its own charm. Calm and relaxing atmosphere...

Great resort in Bermuda, rooms are comfortable but old. Great private beach on your door step!

I had arrived 2 days late because I did not know about the required travel authorization document and the required supervised negative PCR test within 48 hours from boarding your flight required by the Commonwealth of Bermuda Ministry of Health. Upon arrival, the guest service manager worked her magic. The 2 days lost stranded in New York was tacked unto the former departure day. Every staff member was kind and courteous. The restaurant and bar are great! Try the frozen peach cocktail. The facility and rooms are immaculate. Bermuda's Diamond in yhe Rough.

Stay here for the beautiful private beach and ocean views! I would give a 4.5 if I could, reason for less than 5 being the restaurant was closed and the rooms are a bit dated. A great experience overall, would come back!

This is my first time visiting Bermuda and have had the BEST experience at coco reef! My daughter and I stayed for 6 nights and could not have been happier with our choice of resorts. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful that they make you feel like you've known them for some time, the beach is by far the best on the island. I have explored other resorts for dining as well as other beaches- there was no comparison as to how wonderful coco reef truly is!
