The rooms were clean and the location was nice. Make sure you secure your money though. One of their staff took $70 from my wife’s suitcase. I reported it to the desk, and they said they would get to the bottom of it and contact me. They never contacted me again. This was about 3 years ago. As nice as it was, I’m not sure if I’d be willing to stay again if I can’t trust them to keep my stuff safe.

We had a great time. I never swam in the ocean, but it was all quite beautiful. The restaurants on site weren't so amazing, but the windows on the sound, or something like that was incredible for breakfast! We had a great experience here!

What a criminal shame. THE best and most prestigious, historic hotel on the island, closed indefinitely "for refurbishment" but with no work being done, whilst they argue over trying to turn it into an americanised golf time share! No consideration for its pedigree or heritage. An EXCEPTIONAL hotel, that at present has lost its direction

The hotel is well appointed, with spacious rooms and beautiful views of either the Great Sound or the South Shore. The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom in our room was spacious also. There are a number of great restaurants to choose from on the property, including a coffee bar to help start the day. There is an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, plus a small shallow pool with a mini slide for the kids. Willowstream Spa is located at the hotel and is a wonderful place to unwind with a great treatment. Our stay was during the Christmas period and the hotel was beautifully decorated... like a white winter wonderland. There was even a giant gingerbread man wearing Bermuda shorts!

The hotel was shutdown in 2020 and Google Maps has been notified multiple times but to no avail. Don’t believe Google Maps as an information source

We visited this resort on land day from our cruise. The beach was great, the service was excellent.

This review is long overdue, my family stayed at this Fairmont years ago. The staff was amazing, especially housekeeping. Every night we came back to a spotless room and the ladies took extra care with my daughter's stuffed animals; lining them up along the bed. We had beach access to one of the most picturesque beaches in the world: horseshoe bay. I hope this hotel is able to open up in time for summer, we'd love to return.

This is a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed our stay here very much! The room was clean and modern and we had a gorgeous view of the water. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. It rained non stop for our entire stay and cleared up the day we departed, so we really want to make another trip here to explore more of the island when the weather is a bit more sunny, but we enjoyed our visit none the less.

We came here for a destination wedding. Most members of our group, including us, changed rooms because the views were not as promised. They placed us above a loud generator / water recapture system initially. The room was nice. The bed was very comfortable, but the shower liming was chipped in every room we saw in our group and the entire bathroom was in need of upgrading. We were misled about the inclusive continental breakfast. The staff won’t tell you what you can and cannot eat from the breakfast buffet until they charge you an additional fee per person for the upgrade each day. There are several hidden charges of about $70 per day that were never explained to us. Initially, we booked the room online on their website for a total of 6 nights for $1870.70. However, after the hidden fees, we were charged an additional $384 at checkout. Overall, the experience was nice and we had a great time. The beaches were beautiful and the workers were very nice. I just wish the hidden fees were initially explained to us at check-in.

Our overall experience was excellent, we spent a week on the property. Everyone at the front and concierge desks were very friendly and helpful. Shuttle drivers were very helpful and on our last morning brought us up to see a great sunrise. Onsite restaurants are expensive. 2 out of 3 visits to the Jasmine lounge we had below average service. We frequented the coffee shop, lots of gluten free options, we just wished it would have stayed open later. The grounds are very picturesque and the ocean club beach is beautiful. I wasn't a fan of the giant herd of ducks out front but plenty of other patrons were and fed them. Boundary the sports bar on property is really nice, good food and excellent service.

Booked two rooms that were not together, but the hotel staff accommodated me so that my two rooms are adjoining. The concierge was extremely helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. The welcoming staff was respectful and eager to lend a hand without the quiet expectation of a tip. The restaurants were excellent in all ways. The live band on the weekends is a great source of entertainment, especially because there isn't much to do after dark. The pool is 24/7, which is a plus because swimming at night was both relaxing and romantic. The shuttles to various parts of the hotel amenities (e.g., beach, golf course) are frequent and clean. The Fairmont Southampton beach is literally next to the famous Horseshoe Bay beach, but both beaches are great. The golf course has beautiful scenery, and one should not underestimate the par 3 of the course. The elevations make for tricky shots. The hallways and other neighbors were quiet for the most part, and the room service is on point. I'm definitely returning here when, not if, I come back to Bermuda. Oh, and the scuba diving lesson and experience were affordable and recommended.

Great location. That was my favorite part of the hotel as it's very close to horseshoe beach. The down side is that you have to take a shuttle to get to the beach and really anywhere else in the area. We did manage to walk to a bar not far away but there is not much sidewalk. The golf course is quite beautiful and well maintained. The hotel is generally very clean and rooms are quite large. Overall we enjoyed the experience, just wished the beach was easier to get to.

The most amazing experience of my life. Pascoal and Michael, Sophia and all the Staff blessed us daily with extraordinary service. The Gold Package 5th floor service was incredible. The beach is super exclusive, tropical paradise.
