We
stayed
as
locals
for
a
mini
staycation.
Had
we
paid
full
price
(we
were
able
to
secure
a
local
rate),
I
would
have
been
far
more
disappointed
than
I
already
am
with
the
stay.
The
rooms
were
beautiful
and
the
property
is
great;
however,
the
service
lacking
all
around.
I
had
a
$1500
Rosewood
giftcard
and
it
basically
caused
all
sorts
of
problems
at
checkout
-
staff
had
no
idea
how
to
process
a
gift
card
and
it
was
clear
it
was
an
inconvenience
to
the
staff
that
we
used
a
gift
card.
We
were
informed
that
there
was
only
person
taking
food/drink
orders
at
the
pool
on
a
Saturday.
The
pool
was
absolutely
packed
and
we
couldn't
believe
that
only
one
staff
member
was
scheduled
for
the
job
that
day.
I
am
not
an
impatient
person,
but
staffing
was
clearly
not
properly
allocated.
We
booked
3
spa
treatments
several
weeks
in
advance
for
$310,
$310,
$330.
When
we
checked
out
at
the
spa,
all
of
the
prices
had
changed
to
$350
each.
I'm
not
one
to
nickel
and
dime,
but
felt
that
it
might
have
been
appropriate
to
inform
guests
that
the
spa
prices
had
changed.
Also,
we
were
told
we
would
get
10%
off
at
the
spa
for
treatments
booked
from
10-2.
When
I
arranged
our
treatments,
I
was
under
the
impression
that
our
2pm
start
time
would
still
allow
for
the
discount.
Upon
checkout,
I
was
informed
that
the
treatments
need
to
be
completed
by
2pm.
So
to
be
eligible
for
the
discount,
our
treatment
start
time
window
should
have
been
10-12:30,
not
the
10-2pm
as
advertised.
And
finally,
as
a
local,
I'm
used
to
the
ants,
but
if
I
was
a
guest
from
overseas,
I
don't
think
the
ants
on
the
nightstands
and
bed
(with
no
food
in
sight)
would
have
been
acceptable.
Overall,
the
hotel
is
simply
stunning,
but
the
service
is
not
up
to
par.
