Rooms are very clean, good breakfast, and the staff is the best. We stay at this hotel every time we visit family in Walker. Always very satisfied with our accommodations. Front desk staff so friendly and helpful. Told the front desk we were leaving the next morning at 5am and asked if we might be able to grab a muffin or something for the road. She said no problem and even offered to have some coffee ready for us, even though breakfast doesn’t start till 6am. Now that’s great customer service.

The visit was absolutely wonderful! All the staff are so very kind and thoughtful. I had occasion to be in the lobby during the after-breakfast clean-up and couldn't help overhearing them as they interacted. They worked together well and cooperatively. At one point one even volunteered to mop the floor to give help to another. My wife and I are elderly and disabled, but for some reason they could not provide a handicap accessible room the first night. The next day they provided for us without complaint. The breakfast was good. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

5 stars!! my family and I had a wonderful time. Everyone was very hospitable. Kendra and staff was great!!! The pool was nice and clean and so were the rooms. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to stay.

Many don't consider this to be a top-of-the-line hotel chain. But hey the rooms are clean, the beds are extremely comfortable. I tend to sleep like a baby whenever I stay in one of these unlike some of the higher-priced brands out there. The breakfast definitely could have been better. The staff working when I visited was not the friendliest. Don't get me wrong they were not mean they just weren't personable.

Margot at front desk is amazing!! Hotel is clean and definitely meet expectations. This is my second stay and they were both great!

For the price we paid, after a holiday it was exceptional. The reception and staff are very nice and accommodating, if needed. Had issues with using wifi and room phone. Once issues fixed, we were good. It's a nice hotel, located near restaurants within walking distance.

For the most part, this hotel provided a clean and comfortable room at a great price! The bed was very comfortable and overall, the room felt and smelled clean. The bathroom was clean but if you want to be picky, the corners and baseboards needed attention.

Room didn't smell good, sounded like they were doing construction in a room next door to us at 1am, but the location was nice. Wouldn't stay there again though.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. The rooms are amazing, the beds are big and comfortable. You can tell this hotel is ran the correct way and they everyone here takes pride in their work. Highly recommend this hotel.

The check-in process was smooth, and the receptionist was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was both clean and comfortable. However, there was some ongoing unfinished work in the bathroom, which was quite unsightly. The black mold on the sheetrock should be addressed with necessary repairs and painting. Additionally, having a designated surface for toiletries in the bathroom, rather than just the handicap shower chair, would have been a welcomed addition. Despite these issues, it did serve its intended purpose. The breakfast bar was sufficient, but it lacked an efficient layout for items. Guests were frequently searching for items that should have been organized in a more coherent manner for easier access.

Everything about this stay was nice. I am always a bit hesitant when I book an inexpensive room right off the interstate, but this was was very clean and the room was spacious. I had to make a change to my reservation, moving my stay up a day, and was able to do so without any problem or change in price. I was also glad to see a hot breakfast that included scrambled eggs and sausage. It was very convenient, just a block off of IH10, and there were a number of restaurants nearby. I will definitely remember this hotel when I'm looking for a place to stay next time.

I was a bit skeptical to book at first because of past experiences when booking an inexpensive hotel, but after reading a few reviews I decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. First of all this was something last minute and we didn't check in till after 11pm and the attendant was so pleasant and polite. Very quick check in. The room was fresh and clean and cool. We slept very well.Then we came down for breakfast the next morning and it was really nice, from waffles, eggs,sausage, fresh bagels and cereal and yogurt. I most definitely recommend. One of the more nicer hotels we have stayed in.

This is a middling hotel in declining condition but acceptable. It is good enough that we used it on our return trip. I think that decision was because of the positive impression left by receptionist, Margo, who was very kind and helpful to us, as tired travelers. On the second visit, the receptionist barely looked up from reading her bible (Revelations) to check me in, and I didn't feel welcome. But whatever . . .

We stayed at the La Quinta for 5 days. We interacted with the staff at various times of the day and they were all amazing. Super friendly, very helpful, and always smiling. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. And for the price, I was surprised to have hot eggs and sausage every morning. My only complaint about the hotel is the parking lot design and the design of driving entrance to the hotel. Cars were allowed to park under the cover and it made it challenging to load/unload our car. However, everything else was so amazing, I can overlook the parking design.

La Quinta Hotel was a basic hotel with no amenities and although a free breakfast was offered, it was nothing available other than junk food. The hotel is only meant for a quick overnight stay and nothing else. In my humble opinion, spend a few extra dollars go elsewhere

Staff wonderful! Friendly and personable. Nice lobby. The room was large and clean. Loved no carpet! Shower was powerful and nice and hot. Nice large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Very pet friendly and plenty of poop bags!! We will stay here again on our trips to Florida.

The staff was very helpful, nice and accommodating. The room was nice and clean with the exception of a stain on the comforter that we did not use. The people around us were very quiet and respectful and even though we had pets (as did other people), I never heard any dogs barking. The location was easy to access being pretty much right off the highway. We were able to pull our 20 foot uhaul and a load on top car trailer into the parking lot. The staff next door (you can walk right over from the hotel) at the Waffle House were fantastic as well. The breakfast in the morning had a good selection for us and everything was fresh. I 100% would stay here again if we were passing through.

The hotel was great,bed was to soft for my mom and me(no support for back problems). The staff was excellent,friendly,knowledgeable and very helpful..Margo checked us in and out. She was awesome. Store and food rite in front of hotel. Pool was very clean and very nice. Service was second to none. Will stay there everytime we go to Baton Rouge.

Great hotel. I stayed at this hotel when I traveled across the state. The staffs such as Margot and Kendra were very nice and helpful. Breakfast is basic. The bed is comfortable and the room is clean. Waffle House and Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers are within walking distance if needed.

This is another great property by La Quinta by Wyndham… looks almost new rooms are great I was upgraded to a suite…Very low prices by the Wyndham app.. I was greeted by the front desk supervisor Margot, who was just the best all around, she helped me with everything! Great example of customer service!!! Breakfast was hot and ready!! 10 Stars all around Waffle House next door open 24 hours!!! 🤪🤣👍👍

This was not a good experience. We arrived late in the night after many hours of driving and were so exhausted that we initially decided to stay. After a few hours we had to take off. Lady at the front desk was sweet and polite, but the condition of the hotel was terrible. All ice machines were leaking water. Staff had placed towels under machines to catch the water. The elevator had sticky floors. We ended up finding a roach in our bed after a few hours of sleeping, so we had to exit at the point. Tub looked to have a broken drain and was dirty. There was a funky odor in our room. I would not recommend anyone stay here until they deep clean the place. The carpeting in our room was also damp. We were very dissappointed.

We arrived late at night and were greeted with a smile which is not real common lately. She was very pleasant and helpful. Our rooms were clean and maintained daily. Fitness room had everything I needed. Continental breakfast in the morning. Good coffee and the best scrambled eggs. Will definitely be returning here.

Was a nice hotel with good staff. Rooms were clean, had good lighting and were comfortable. Parking area was well lit. Some areas outside smell a little of cat urine but there's a lot of kitties around there. I'd stay here again.

Very nice, updated, budget hotel. My only complaint was the pillows - hard and compressed. The bed was firm and I slept well. The AC was very cold, very nice. Hot breakfast was basic, but very good (this southern gent suggest adding biscuits to the bread bin). Would definitely stay again.

We got the last room Thank Goodness. The room was very clean. Employees we awesome. Beds were very comfy and shower was very hot. They allowed our pups which was a blessing. Parking lot was very well lit and lots of resturants right beside the hotel. Will stay again.

The staff was super friendly and helpful! The room was clean and well maintained. The location is perfect...very easy to get to! In addition there are places to eat within walking distance. We enjoyed it so much we stayed there twice on our trip! We'd definitely recommend it!

Nice room. The first room next to the lobby, so a little noisy. The tub faucet was wonky and kept spinning around instead of cold to hot, but we got it to work. Everything was new and clean. The hotel is clean and well kept. Breakfast was standard fare. But not bad. Service was very good

Really enjoyed our experience at the La Quinta in Denham Springs, great deal and clean place! We asked for a close room as my mom isn't able to walk far and they were happy to accommodate. Our room was just off of the lobby and still so quiet. Our room was so spacious nicely updated. The breakfast was great! Plenty of food options and everyone's favorite, the waffles! The only complaint is that they need another waffle maker. Would definitely stay here again.
