Irate with the new ownership of this doctor office. I had appointments scheduled since August to have annuals for my two children. The day of the appointments, my son got sick and since I was busy taking care of him and having a job, I couldn't call right away to reschedule. When I finally called to reschedule the appointments, right on schedule, the receptionist was callous, smugly telling me that the next available appointments weren't until the new year. I was then billed two no-show fees, even though I rescheduled the appointments. It appears that every since Dr. Lazor left, all this office cares about its money. That is, if you can even get an appointment to bring your child in. Go and spend your money on an office that cares.

I have been with Laurel pediatrics for almost 2yrs now since my kids had to transfer from a group of well established Pediatricians located in Baltimore County. Although I absolutely loved my previous Pediatrician, with three kids it was too tiring to have to travel so far when one of them got sick, and I reluctantly switched over to this office. I donā€™t leave many reviews, and I am always understanding of people w/customer facing jobsā€” however, I can honestly say that this office has disappointed me in so many ways that I regret even switching my kids over. 1. As many other reviewers mentioned, the office staff can be a hit or miss as far as customer service! For example, I called today ā€œplease holdā€, there was no greeting just click and music. When the person finally answered, her tone was already unfriendly, and when I explained to her that I was following up with Dr. Ugo she tried to push me to urgent care without hearing why I was actually calling which wasnā€™t an urgent care case at all. 2. Secondly, if you are looking for a doctor that can build a relationship with your child and get to know them, PLEASE SKIP THIS OFFICE. Although, I will say that Dr. Ugo was great the ONE time, yes I said one time my kids actually got to see her. She is only there 1-2 days a week and you would think the office would at least schedule yearly annual appointments with the doctor. However, they donā€™t. I get that you may get a nurse practitioner for urgent care/sick visits. 3. Thirdly, this office bills for every insignificant thing. For example, my old pediatrician never charged a co-pay for a Wellness visit (I have same insurance). At this office, during the Wellness visit after they deliberately ask you, ā€œis your child having any issuesā€ and if you say for example ā€œthey arenā€™t sleeping wellā€, they will charge you a co-pay and bill it as an issue or problem. While not addressing it during that visit. I thought it was fraud when I saw the bill! My previous pediatrician allowed me to freely discuss any issues or concerns with my kids, doing a wellness without suspiciously, charging it to the insurance as some kind of outside issue other than overall well-being. I really just want a place where I can comfortably bring my kids and feel like we get Chick-fil-A service lolā€¦ I totally understand all places have good days and bad days but the good definitely has to always outweigh those bad ones to make me feel itā€™s worthwhile.

Jen is so great! We've seen another Dr there before, and when I called to switch they gave us Jen. I'm so happy they did! She listens to your concerns, she's so kind and very warm-hearted, my kids enjoy going to the doctors now! We went to an appointment for 1 of my 3 children, I asked if all 3 could receive the flu shot and she was able to have all 3 done.

Love Jen. She's seen my teen since he was a toddler and my youngest from birth. She has been great at each stage of development. Comments on something personal at each visit (a sport event or vacation we mentioned at a previous visit, recalls the the name of child's teacher or favorite food, etc.), which makes us feel like we are not just a number. Shows knowledge of the kids medical history & doesn't repeat the same questions over and over. Instead she'll say something like "I know we have a history of...let's check..." Which again makes the visit feel more personable. I briefly attempted to move the kids to another practice because it is closer to my home, but I missed the personal touch of Laurel Peds & came running back!

My son has been going since Dr. Lazor was there and I TRULY MISS HER. I love Amber and the MAā€™s. Iā€™m not to happy with the front desk staff they arenā€™t very warm and welcoming they arenā€™t rude either, but they can be a lot more nice especially for working in a pediatric officešŸ¤·šŸ¾ā€ā™€ļø. We have been with this office 11 years now I just wish there was a male provider as well for the boys. Some boys when they get older prefer male providers.however we LOVE amber sheā€™s super nice but SUPER REAL I love how sheā€™s honest with the kids and how she supports us parents LOVEEEE Amber! Thanks for all that you do DOC!

I absolutely love Amber and Jen. And so do my kids. They make my children feel comfortable, they thoroughly examine them, and answer every question we have. I trust them 100% with my babies.

Dr. Ugo is an incredible provider she has been there to care for my son since the day he was born, still in the hospital. As first time parents my Husband and I come to her with all of our concerns big and small, no matter the issue she always go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and takes her time explaining things so that we are very well informed. She is very knowledgeable and you can tell she has a passion for her job. Her office is very attentive and quick to respond. I honestly cannot say enough good things about her or her practice, I have no doubt in my mind that I have made the best choice in choosing a provider for my son.

Jennifer is the best pediatrician! She is the only one I will take my kids to. I have 2 boys. My oldest is now 18 and has seen her since age 2. I am a nurse and particular about our doctors. Jennifer has always been kind, personable, realistic and will take the time to look things up, consider your ideas/opinions, and explore options. Also the office staff here had always been top notch and positive, regardless of who has come and go on staff. Highly recommend this office!

Jennifer is an amazing pediatrician! I am so glad that we found her and started my sonā€™s care with her from when he was a newborn. My child is not an easy patient - GI issues, reflux, allergies. Jennifer has helped my family navigate these difficulties using best practices. She is knowledgeable, has top notch ā€œbedside manner,ā€ and is professional. As a medical professional myself, I appreciate these qualities and I couldnā€™t be happier with her care.

I can clearly say that Rachel and the staff a Laurel pediatrics is above par, the best pediatric care facility Iā€™ve ever seen in my life. Ever cents my son was a infant to all the way up to 17 years old. He has gotten the best care from all the doctors on staff at Laurel pediatrics I highly recommend them to anybody.
