This is a unique and fun toy store. There are lots of stuffed toy options, animal figurines, games, and fun workbook type toys. It is so colorful and the displays are great, so it's very attractive and appealing. The items are all really high quality, but it is pretty pricey. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Our customer service experience was pretty poor today. It has been better in the past. We almost didn't go in the store because the closed sign was in the front. We stood there looking around, and it was within published hours plus the light was on. We opened the door, but didn't see the cashier right away. I walked over to the counter and saw him ducked down behind the counter. I asked if they were open, and he nodded. He was eating something and his mouth was full. The person who was with me asked if he wanted her to turn the sign around to say open. She asked twice before he answered "yeah". After we looked around for some time, and went up to purchase our items, he seemed very disinterested. I was pretty disappointed by this customer service, but the store is great, and I have had better service in the past.

What an amazing toy store! My family could spend hours browsing and playing. If you are in Old Ellicott City, you have to stop by Doc Taylor’s Toy Emporium!

Hard to find- is no longer the challenge. Making up your mind which to purchase may be the struggle. Live a little, take one of each! Love this store!

This is my new favorite toy shop! If you want a toy for your kid without supporting Bezos come check it out. They have awesome STEM options, wood toys, fun toys, brands I don’t see anywhere else, and of course all the fun popular stuff. I grabbed a Toniebox tonie as we recently got a Toniebox and I’m stoked to see they carry them! Especially for the holidays or any toy shop experience it’s a must see.

Wow! Talk about a fun store! From Squishables, Jelly Cat, vintage Fisher Price toys, to crafts, cars, games, and puzzles, there is anything and everything a person could possibly want to find in a toy store! The staff is amazing, the store itself is warm and inviting, we will definitely be back!

This has to be one of the funnest stores in Ellicott City. In today’s time we don’t have Toys R Us all we got is Amazon Target and Walmart and it’s not the same but Doc Taylor’s has to be the next best thing. It has two floors filled with all kinds of toys games costumes and plushies the staff is nice and welcoming and the owner’s are amazing I can’t say enough nice things about this store you have to take you’re little ones here

My family loves this store! They recently expanded onto a second floor. The toys they offer are ones you won’t see walking down the toy aisles at Walmart. And they have a grand collection of squishmallows! The customer service is great. I highly recommend visiting!

What a fun toy store! All the nostalgia of toys, games, puzzles and more. . So happy we stopped in as we strolled down historical down town Elliott City and the trip down memory lane!
