I worked for Dr. Sway at Better World until (very) recently. Some stores seem great to the public but aren't so wonderful behind closed doors. This is not the case for BWI! Dr. Sway is as kind, dedicated, and authentic to her vendors and employees as she is to her customers. My family will continue supporting our favorite little toy shop, and we can't wait to see what new ideas and activities this new year will bring! (Photos are oldies but goodies!)

Best toy store ever! The owner creates a welcoming environment for all. It's a small store, but very well curated... you basically can't go wrong, and it's not overwhelming. We came with our child who had gotten birthday money. The store owner let him pick up anything he liked to put on the "selection chair" (such a great idea), then worked him through the math which item (or combination of smaller items) he could get that day. He is so proud of having bought something by himself and the toy he ended up picking is still the most favorite of all (writing this is about half a year later). I have also gotten excellent board games and children's books at this store for other family members. What a wonderful way to celebrate being young and/or young at heart :-)

I stopped in for a shower gift for my nephew and his wife. The sales woman was extremely helpful and friendly. There were so many things to choose from and not just ordinary things I could have purchased on Amazon. These were top quality products. I'm definitely going back to purchase toys and books for my grandchildren. You should definitely check out the store!

My wife and 1 yr old son attended the 4th of July parade this year and were set up right in front of better world imaginarium. The shop was closed, but the ownership was there and offered us and other families with young kids AC, a changing station, and let the kids play with toys inside when they needed a break from the heat. Just wanted to say thank you for the hospitality and we can’t wait to come in and shop soon! This is the best type of small business to support because great people run it. Thanks for going above and beyond for us and other families.

I am currently training to become a music therapist. When me and my friend stepped in out of curiosity, there was a wide variety of interestingest, fun, educational, and quality toys! Some are simple tinker toys for nice temporary amusement, many were engaging toys with good educational value. There was also a wide variety of small instruments for kids, such as rhythm sticks and miniature cymbals. Some of the prices might seem a bit higher then what you would see in retail, however this is for a very good reason! The toys are of good quality, and many of the toys there are eco-friendly (some even made entirely out of recycled plastic). Will definitely be visiting more often, there is plenty of potential here whether you want engaging activities for your children, or just want some simple fun toys!

I'm 100% satisfied with my experience of picking up my Amazon purchase here. I wanted to leave a 100% positive review in the survey that Amazon emailed to me, but about halfway through the survey was the question "did you stay to shop at the store?" -- and "decline to answer this question" was not given as an option. That's none of Amazon's business. And this isn't the first time I've found Amazon to be pushy and intrusive. I stopped the survey at that point. Again, my experience with the store itself was excellent.

Stop giving Amazon your money; come check out this amazing little toy store. Come see something cool. They are super kind and there’s tons of great stuff to pick from. My two kids even got some store “money” that they would use towards picking out a small toy. Very cool.

Always à pleasure when I'm in town for a visit. This time I picked up my Amazon order. How awesome is that? Instead of having to wait until next month, picking my items up from a drop off spot was an option. Thank you so much. I shall be back.
