Love this Salon!! We drive more than an hour to come here! Katie is our curly girl specialist!! It so hard to find stylists who understand the curly hair issues. Danny really takes his time and pays attention to what the clients want. They are a great team. The salon is clean, organized and reasonably priced. They treat you like family and remember all the details of your life since you last came in. Anya is not only their receptionist but a stylist herself!! What a great team at Soul Love!!!!

I absolutely love Danny & Katie! Katie was one of the only stylist I know to transition my hair to platinum blonde with no damage. Katie gave me a comprehensive consultation where she created a plan to keep my color vibrant between visits without over processing my hair. I loved the products they used (everything smelled AMAZING) and kept my hair so healthy. My pixie cut & color was the BEST!

Had a lovely platinum root touch up with Katie! My hair is so soft and shiny and even! 💁🏼‍♀️💗 It's so nice to find a local salon with reasonable prices that doesn't charge by the hour. Hourly rates always seem to jack up the time in the chair and cost and always lead to a lot of stress as someone on a budget whose big splurge is their hair. Very pleased to find a salon with straight-forward pricing! I also really loved how Katie asked me what I wanted to do and felt comfortable with every step of the way from whether I was comfortable with touch before a great neck massage at the bowl to being asked if I wanted to be blown out or save with a rough dry. Really relaxed vibe, rad music, kind and open folks, and just the color I wanted - what more can you ask for? 😊

This is the first haircut I've had in literally 6 years that I've loved. Katie is a master at what she does. I was extremely nervous to try someone new and it had been 18+ months since a professional had touched my very long hair because I had been trying to grow it out and it had been mercilessly chopped off by the last two people to cut it. Not only did she keep all the length she could but she cut my hair in a way that got it to curl back up more than it has in a long time. The cut has grown out beautifully. Also the boutique they have has super cute stuff and the place is super welcoming. As a late-diagnosed AuDHDer who gets overstimulated easily I was super comfortable the entire time and she didn't mind when I got up to move around or when I was fidgety. There's not a lot of places I feel totally comfortable being fully unmasked but Soul Love is absolutely one of them. I live in Alexandria and will happily make the ~2 hour drive up to Baltimore again <3

Danny and Katie are great stylists and also really great people. I've been getting my hair bedazzled by them for five years and I've never had a complaint. Also, the excellent music makes the wait times while processing my hair fly by. Seriously though, give them a try, you won't regret it.

Katie and Danny have an amazing salon and it always feels good going there bc they are so warm but they are also great decorators! I always love seeing their touches with great product lines and new plants! The salon is always clean and and after knowing them for years, it’s nice to see their business to continue to grow. I recently had my hair cut by Danny and I cannot express how happy I am with the results! He is a master of his craft! The entire experience was great from start to finish! Danny understood how to incorporate the perfect layers in my curly hair while leaving length! He also revamped my bangs into a more modern design! The salon itself has an inviting atmosphere and everyone there has a true passion for the art of beauty services. Danny, Katie and Vanessa are all experts and passionate about what they do and it shows with every client they take care of! I saw some amazing transformations while I was there!
