Was here for a private event. Atmosphere was great and festive. The private event was catered and food was delicious. A known hangout and drinks spot in the Hunt Valley, Timonoum area.

Probably one of the better choices in the area for lunch, happy hour, or dinner. The service is always on point. When the weather is nice the outside bars are great but also a tent up in the winter. There are two bars inside. The Roseda burger and blackened chicken sandwich were excellent. Very good drinks, always fresh fruit in the cocktails, try the orange crush.

Cool spot with decent food but the servers could not read the table and constantly interrupted … also served some peoples appetizers after their entree.

I visited this restaurant in early September of this year. Environment: I outside on their patio and it was a really nice experience. Everything was super clean and nicely decorated. You have the a choice of sitting at a dining table or talk table with stools. I believe there may be at least two bars outside for when they have event s as a well. Least favorite thing, is that not all of the seats are covered well. I was burning up from the sun in certain spots. Customer Service: The waitress that I had was nice. She was understanding when I told her that I ordered the wrong meal and quickly put in a ticket for the correct one with the kitchen. Food: The food was delicious! I love raw oysters so the ones I got were perfect - salty and briny. The salad, coleslaw and fried calamari were good too. I, personally, did not like the fried oysters. For me, it got soggy too quickly and it was were to have an oyster in a breaded pocket. All in all, I was happy with my meal. I do wish they had more raw seafood options though. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant and would recommend it to others into oysters!

First time at this establishment, I am speechless! Our server Janu was very familiar with the menu and never had to keep us waiting. But holy cow, the FOOD! We got the oyster stew, deviled eggs, corn, and oysters as our appetizers. Not a single complaint. For dinner we got the grilled seafood salad, the burger, and the crab and lobster mac and cheese. Not being overly nice here….everything was 5 stars. Will be back for sure and recommending to friends. And the draft list is incredible! No doubts to come try this place!

Good local restaurant serves good quality of food and service. Has fancy vibe and great happy hour programs. I was satisfied with their draft beer quality too.

Everything was fine. The crab cake needed old bay. Luckily there was some on the table. I didn’t take a picture of the oysters. They were fine but not all separated from the shell.

Out to lunch on October 15. It wasn't crowded when we arrived but people started arriving a little bit after. We came at a good time. You choose your own seat either outside or inside and the waitress will come to you. I forgot her name but she was wonderful and attentive 😊 Overall our food was good. Nothing different but a different atmosphere which was nice. It is like any other restaurants since we only tried out the basic food on menu. And nice place to have a get together for food and drinks with friends. They offer lunch specials as well for a quick bite and small portion from what I ordered (shrimp tacos and small cup of cream of crab) but it was good enough for me since I eat lite during lunch. I am not an oyster foodie but they have a variety.

We love going here for shore night, which is every Tuesday. They have an awesome crab cake platter, deal, $1, oysters, and other good specials including a delicious corn on the cob. Great atmosphere also with live music

Do not come hear on a weekend night if you want to hear the other people at your table. The loud music, crowded dining room, and poor acoustics made it difficult for us to hear each other. We order the pound of steamed shrimp, along with the steamed mussels. The perfectly steamed shrimp was sautéed with onions and tasted wild caught. The shrimp were delicious. I could easily have ordered another pound! We found it disappointing that Ryleigh’s did not offer any sides with the shrimp. Nonetheless, it was a good value for the money. The mussels were shockingly small, but flavorful. The steamed mussels also did not come with sides. Our server was competent, but did not seem to really want to be working that day. We did not stick around for dessert since we could not hear each other above the noise.

I don’t live nearby but have been to Ryleighs a few times and have never been disappointed. We were there for a large family event ~17 people, the service was very good and it seemed that everyone enjoyed their meal. There were plenty of fresh oysters, oyster stew, and crab soup at the table. I had the crab cake platter - the crab cake was huge and perfectly done. My sides of garlic green beans and fries were done just right. My wife jumped all over the lobster roll and thoroughly enjoyed it. The draft beer list was very good with plenty of local and regional crafts to choose from - for me it was a Dales Pale Ale. I’d say it was better than what you see at your average restaurant - and a nice treat.

This was a very pleasant surprise. The building itself from the outside isn’t much to look at, but that’s where the mediocrity stops. The interior was a great atmosphere, the menu had great options, and the staff was friendly. I travel a lot for work and would definitely go back when in the area.

They are for sure going to know who this is... Wrong beer, crab cake with plastic in it .. lobster roll, complete with shells. We chose this location because we usually go to the Still and I was craving a lobster roll .. won't be back. The Bartender was amazing though and very apologetic. I do think it's interesting that we didn't actually talk to the manager.. and even though they took it off the tab, they didn't take the dish away AND they brought us another crab cake .. not sure if it has plastic, haven't eaten it. Lobster roll not great (shells and minimal lobster) the Walrus and Oyster is superior.. go there instead.

I am so disappointed with this experience. We visited this restaurant at its former location and fell in love with it. Everyone was so friendly and the oyster shucker was showing the children how to shuck. We live in Florida so we where excited to go again while in town. This year we drove over an hour expecting the same experience and was so disappointed. There is a buck and shuck Monday that was so discriminatory. We have children so we can not sit at the bar area “high tops” because we have a highchair, so we had to pay the full price of $32 a dozen vs the $12 that we would have paid if we didn’t need a highchair. The fruit of the day for the kids meals which are $10 a plate is apple sauce. One of the adult orders was forgotten the entire lunch and they brought her cold fries to hold her over once we brought it to there attention. Then they forgot her to go order at the end. The food was disappointing as well. The soup is now over salter and the crab dip was basically just cream cheese. The server was nice and trying his best. The manger was aware of the issues and just kept looking over at us and never once decided to ask about our experience. I would NOT recommend this restaurant if you have children or a party over 2 people.

Food quality has taken a turn for the worst. The burger was over cooked and unseasoned, the seafood club had barely any crab on it and what was there was not high quality. Service was overworked and spread too thin.

Best meal of the week! 1$ oysters, lamb chops, and literally the best creamed spinach I've ever had. Everything everyone ate was scrumptious. Our server, Eric, I believe, was great. Attentive, funny, informative, and taller than Ray Lewis (funny story). You won't be disappointed.

We sat in the back area for a birthday gathering. What a nice place. Love the atmosphere. Our Bar tender/ server was very nice. The food was delicious. My husband had the in house made Egg nog and I had an oyster stout on nitro. We had the raw oysters. I can't remember which ones they were. My husband had the shrimp and grits & I had the fried oyster sub with fries. So delicious 🤤

The food is amazing and the waiter was a lot of fun. Great happy hour menu. I have had the charred Caesar salad a couple of times now. It's delicious 😋

I have never been here any other night besides Tuesday, which is their Shore Night special, but it's gotta be the best crab cake platter deal anywhere in the area. $19 for a crab cake that is lots of big crab meat and hardly any filler, cooked to perfection with Green beans and fries. Highly recommend for a Tuesday night out!

Ian is a special gym. Keep up the good work in your customer service young man it will take you far. We loved the Seafood Tower and the cream of crab soup. The calamari seemed fresh and fried to perfection. Thank you so much for the recommendations. Although my favorite oyster is the saint Simone which they don't have, their house oysters are one of the the best.

I have rarely experienced service this poor. It took half an hour for the waitress to come check on us, then she forgot our order, and it took another half hour for us to get the three beers that we ordered. It wasn't even busy. The beer was also pretty expensive. My friends had food and said it was good and inexpensive, though.

We wete seated immediately on a busy Friday evening with a superb menu I ordered oysters on the half shell and they were extremely fresh (people who do this know when they're fresh). Stephanie was our server and she was fantastic and attentive to our needs. Hands down one of the best seafood meals I've had in a long time!

I keep showing myself that while I like seafood, it is almost never worth the price, to me. My wife is deathly allergic to shellfish, so I had to sneak away during our Maryland trip to try the famous crab cakes. The 30$ 7oz crab cake, with green beans and fries were good, but unless you love seafood the price just can't justify the experience. I did take out, and the bartender was friendly and made sure my water was topped off while I waited. The atmosphere is very on point with sea, fishing and aquatic themes. I'm glad I tried it, and if seafood is your thing you should too!

The service was good and some of the food was good. However, $27 for 14 Chicken wings...😱 We ordered burgers to go and they sucked at $16 each. I could have grilled 30 burgers for $70 that would have been much better! I feel like the quality of ALL restaurants has gone down and prices way up! Then they tried to charge me 3.5% for CC because all the other restaurants are doing it! Very lame indeed....as if they don't already charge enough for their food! Got me for $215....when will I learn my cooking is always better? It is nice to go out and be served but the quality is always lacking 😩

Went here for a nice dinner out, unfortunately didn’t get that. We walked in and had to ask 3 different servers how to be seated, each replied with “you have to find a host” but told us they just “roamed around” after finally finding a host we were seated, we paid $15 for the creamsicle drink and it was barely mixed the first sips just tasted like vodka. The only reason I’m not giving one star is because the oysters were good, other than that out appetizers took 45 minutes to come out, the “crab and lobster Mac and cheese” might as well have been regular Mac and cheese, it had two pieces of lobster and one piece of crab meat and was $22 dollars, total rip off. The seafood salad was basically two pieces of shrimp WITH THE TAIL SHELLS ON THEM and lettuce and was $18 dollars, if you’re going to charge $18 for a salad, at least take the shells off the shrimp If you are going to go here, stick to the oysters and the lite beer, you’ll be better off

Had a nice dinner before the theater (high school show!). Got a nice large table -enough for 10. Caesar salad with fried oysters was very good. Staff missed the appetizer but didn't charge. Nice time.

My husband Ray and I were so enthused with our visit. All excellent. What set it apart from other establishments was our waiter, Riley. Amazing young man, wonderful conversation with an “old soul” from hunting, to music. Whatever he decides to do in his life, success is inevitable. Thank you Ryleigh’s and Riley for a great time. We will be back!
