I cannot get back out their door without buying a whole shelf of books! Always someone available to help you find stuff. They have a huge selection and the place is clean and neat. Indoor restrooms available, well maintained.

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. My 12 years daughter went into the store today while I was outside. She asked for help from an old looking white lady wearing all black and curly hair. (Note sure of her hair color possibly blond) The lady first ignored her. My daughter thought she didn’t hear her so she went after her and asked for help. The lady said” I don’t attend to people like you. My daughter was taken aback The lady said “it’s people like you that come here and steal” My daughter didn’t tell me of this interaction until we were almost home and didn’t want me to go back. The lady is obviously unhappy and has hate in her heart. Because I don’t know why you would be unkind to a little child. I hope the store manager investigates this issue. The last thing any black person needs is a hateful white person at a place where you spend money.

You know what Barnes & Noble is already. This location in particular has always had good service as well. Never terribly busy and the drinks from the adjunct store are quite good.

This Barnes & Noble retail store is not the flagship store, but it is spacious and clean, and the booksellers are courteous and helpful to every customer. Plus, this place serves as a quiet sanctuary for book shoppers. The main entrance door is not an automatic sliding door. I do not recall seeing one of those self-service kiosks that allow Barnes & Noble shoppers to search for certain book titles. By the way, there is no Starbucks Café here. Surprised? Me, too.

I’ve been applying on and off for a few years, and always get rejected despite 10+ yrs in retail. I had wondered why until I called to ask about my application - the cashier didn’t put herself on mute properly. What I heard was: “Hey, (X) is calling about an application..?” “The Mexican? Tell him we found an internal transfer. I don’t really feel comfortable working with them.” I’m not Hispanic by any means, but god if that wasn’t eye opening.

I feel like anytime we buy 10-12 books when coming into here they end up asking to renew our membership card. They took the in house Starbucks away so basic I know but it defeats the purpose going there getting a tea and buying books you’ve had your eyes on. Sadly they do not price match with their prices on their own website or other places like Amazon They don’t offer pushing carts and they don’t offer chairs to read 5-8 pages of a book you plan on buying Bathroom could be cleaner

I love Barnes and Noble. I love how spacious it is and the books are nicely organized. I could spend hours there.

Great selection of books, magazines, toys and trickets but very pricey. I usually Google items to find them cheaper but I would love to support local. Also, I've never been to a B&N with no seating areas. They have a few hard, wooden chairs throughout the store and that is it... Very strange for a book store to not have comfy sitting areas, a table or two, ect. The store is a bit outdated...

The store was so clean and organized. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The variety of books was great. Customer service was good, every employee I came in contact with was friendly.

This store is always so organized and quiet. The employees are very friendly, and it's easy to see if your book is in stock online before you go.

Jean-Marie is the MVP of this location! She always helps me find the perfect children's book for any occasion. This Barnes & Noble is a treasure to the Bel Air area, when the library is closed and you are in need of some quiet book therapy always make time for a stop here, you'll never regret it.

It's one of my favorite places to go. The customer service was great. They are due for a deep carpet cleaning. I wished they had the book I was looking for Ride or Die by Shanita Hubbard. But I will still be going back again & again.

Sadly, they're severely overpriced. My daughter wanted 3 books and didn't wanna wait for delivery but when we went to the store, we realized the books were all $10 more at Barnes and Nobles over Amazon, for the same paperback copy. We ordered the books, she got them the next day, for $32 cheaper than the store. I'm a prime member so shipping was free but it would've only been $2.99 if I wasn't a member so still cheaper and only one day wait. The store was clean and the staff was really helpful but I could've just skipped the whole ordeal and saved money just ordering them. The store close to me is closed for remodel, probably why the books are so expensive, so I had to drive extra to get to one (which was also under remodel but open), so I was disappointed at the high prices. The whole experience was a mess, from the parking lot which was all blocked up and hard to drive through, to finding the book because it's not just where it should be, to the over priced material, it was just horrible. Save your money and time, order from Amazon!

I used to really enjoy going into Barnes & Noble when I was younger. I always would like to browse at books and see what was popular. I also would get some writing prompt books from them because they would have a nice variety. However, over the years, I noticed how pricey Barnes & Noble is. I’m not just referring to their books. All their accessories are pricey as well, which caused me to not want to go in there too often. It is a rare if they have a great sale these days. Overall, the store is always very presentable and neat. If you’re a book lover, you will be amazed by their wide variety. I personally do not buy books from them anymore because of not only the price; but I have a kindle as well. This store isn’t beneficial to me as it used to be. It is nice to go in there sometimes and just window-shop.

The people who work here are amazing. I'm usually nervous about asking for help, but the lady I found was so welcoming and did her best to find what I needed. Although it wasn't there, the book selection is amazing, diverse, and effectively organized by genre. Definitely will be going back for more books!

Though I prefer e-books, my wife and daughter prefer the tangible book. Either way, my family and I love this store.

Clean store and pleasant staff. You can find just about anything here and if you can't, they can order it. No cafe is the only downside.

Ordered a book online for pick up at the store. It was great! I didn't have to wait long in line or to check out. Friendly and efficient cashier. When time permits, I I like to come here and shop leisurely for books. There's no pressure to buy and the staff is ready to assist you to find or order something.

Was there for a Forest Hill Elementary school-sponsored event associated with March Reading Month. Very helpful staff while completing the scavenger hunt.

Great place to get books and gifts. Their kids book section is also great. Often there are sales running. They also have a children's story time on Saturdays. Many other events as well. I especially like that Starbucks is attached. This way you can grab a coffee or a tea and then sit and study, read, work online, or catch up with friends. As an added bonus you can get refills of iced coffee, cold brew coffee, or iced tea after sitting for a while. They are like 50 cents or free if you use the Starbucks app.
