I
visited
the
Nordstrom
store
on
Saturday,
July
1st,
at
around
6
pm
to
exchange
my
Charlotte
Tiburry
cosmetics
because
I
had
an
adverse
reaction
to
them.
Unfortunately,
I
didn't
have
a
proof
of
purchase,
and
I
had
mistakenly
thrown
away
the
boxes
with
the
stickers.
However,
I
was
fortunate
to
find
the
salesperson
who
had
initially
sold
me
the
items.
She
was
willing
to
assist
me
but
being
new,
she
wasn't
sure
how
to
handle
the
situation.
She
called
the
manager
of
the
cosmetics
department
for
help.
The
manager,
an
Oriental-looking
woman,
arrived
with
a
fake
smile
and
exhibited
rudeness
when
she
informed
me
that
she
couldn't
do
anything
about
it.
I
tried
contacting
a
different
manager,
but
even
they
declined
to
help.
As
a
Nordstrom
customer
since
I
moved
to
the
US
in
2009,
I
have
never
experienced
any
form
of
disrespect
until
that
day.
I
felt
terribly
disrespected
and
abandoned,
as
I
received
no
assistance
despite
the
confirmation
from
the
salesperson
who
sold
me
the
products.
I
am
unsure
why
we
couldn't
locate
my
purchase,
but
I
believe
I
should
be
entitled
to
a
store
credit.
I
contacted
customer
service,
and
they
provided
me
with
the
corporate
number
to
file
a
complaint
against
that
particular
store.
I
believe
that
as
a
customer,
I
deserve
assistance
rather
than
disrespect.
Although
the
store
is
beautiful,
the
staff
working
there
lacked
a
sense
of
good
customer
service.
They
were
rude,
disrespectful,
and
unprofessional.
It
seems
that
the
times
have
changed,
and
there
is
a
lack
of
emphasis
on
client
relations.
It
is
unfortunate
but
true.
