Excellent restaurant/ bar/ club in the heart of Detroit. The rooftop bar has a great view of Detroit and Comerica park.

This place is amazing!! We ate dinner here one night. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. The atmosphere is elegant and hospitable. The dining room is spacious and regal. I ordered the Caesar salad and the steak frites. They were both very good. The Dutch apple pie was also great. Outside they have an opening to a patio area across from the Tigers Stadium.

This place is amazing, your treated like royalty. The Food is beyond great! I wish I had taken photos. Sorry . I'm very blessed that I get to go and stay for my wife's Christmas party. With all that being said, it's hands down the greatest place to go in the D!! Treat your wife/suppose to a Fairy tale evening! I don't usually go crazy on my input, but I've been twice so far and it doesn't disappoint!

The Detroit Athletic Club has so much character from the moment you enter. First class service, and the food was delicious when we lunched on the top overlooking Detroit.

What an absolutely amazing and wonderful place. From the welcome when you first come in, to the attention to every detail and to making sure their guests are well taken care of. The views from our floor were breathtaking. The staff of the DAC are so nice and I thank them for being so good to me. Well done and thanks again for making our afternoon so pleasant..........

A historic world-class club in the heart of downtown. Excellent event spaces, fantastic dining service, unbeatable views of the city and ballpark, and luxurious interiors and amenities. Don’t pass up the chance to go if you ever have the opportunity!

DAC is a true treasure in downtown Detroit. First time visit because my third grandson had an alumni luncheon before his upcoming graduation from UofDhjgh. First class in all aspects. And Godfrey, a door ambassador, was gentle in telling me no pictures allowed. Our subsequent half hour conversation bonded us forever. He represents the finest of the human experience in how and what a person can and should be with his overwhelming kindness to me.

I got an invitation from a friend for dinner in the Detroit Athletic Club. The visit in the bar was a nice starter for this evening. The dinner has been fabulous (oyster, Wagyu steak, etc.) and we had a delicious wine. After the dinner we were invited for a tour through Detroit Athletic Club. Incredible.

Beautiful and welcoming. The service is always a joy. The main dining room always has the most delicious lobster bisque. I like the variety of flavors they serve. I enjoyed the Mezcal and Espresso cocktail and it was very smooth, not too smoky at all. The salmon salad was amazing. I loved the addition of wontons and rice.

The Detroit Athletic Club (known to members and locals as "The DAC") is truly the finest athletic club in the United States. That I've been to (New York Athletic Club and Chicago Athletic Clubs are close seconds with great locations). It is a private club, so you'll have to be a member, be a member of a reciprocal club (they are reciprocal with most of the major Athletic clubs in the country) or have a friend that will take you. The experience is great from the moment you arrive at the valet, but one of the true gems is the rooftop bar during a Tigers game. You are able to look straight down I to the stadium and are just over 70p feet from the home plate. You can actually watch the game and read the scoreboard while eating a great meal with drinks. The club does maintain a dress code, so make sure you have no jeans or t-shirts (calling advance or check the website to confirm your within the code that is enforced).

Great place for functions. Attended a retirement party. Grand place with a lot of old time splendor. Furniture, carpeting, china etc. in great opulent style. Welcoming and exceptional staff and service. Food was excellent. Fabulous wait staff and bar staff. Formal dress code, not black tie. Great ambiance and atmosphere 👌

Attended a National Conference and it was a sensational 👌 day from service to aesthetic interest throughout and a smiley helpful person around every corner. The lunch buffet and continental breakfast was also very good. Left impressed by the history of this well maintained building from 1887.

I love the Detroit Athletic Club! The history in the. Building's architecture is amazing!! Ico.e here every year for the Chef's Dinner and have a blast! The atmosphere is breathtaking and historical. The wait staff is kind and generous! I highly recommend this place!!

So I work for designated driving services, and we're on the road a lot so it's hard to find a bathroom not saying it's going to happen for everyone but the valet here is amazing had to use the restroom and let him know who I work for, super nice respectful the best for sure 10 Stars so five times two stars equals 10 Stars amazing seriously I can't say enough

Beautiful ambiance and excellent food makes this a place I always look forward to coming back to. Like most private clubs, there is a dress code and a slightly formal atmosphere.

I love the DAC. They have amazing staff who are very helpful and friendly. They know how to treat vendors they fed us right away and they always do. They know we have work to do. The food is fantastic the location is beautiful and it's always a great experience coming here. The only downfall is that sometimes you might run into roads being closed around the venue for other events happening in Detroit at Comerica park or Ford Field. It can get a bit crazy down there so always give yourself extra time to get there.

Great wedding venue with some of the best views in Detroit! We came for a COVID-postponed wedding recently and had a wonderful time. We were able to stay in one of the rooms which had great amenities. The food for dinner was cooked to perfection- salmon with a dijon sauce and filet mignon so tender you didn't need a steak knife. The crowning glory was the roof-top cigar bar space that was utilized by the gentlemen in our party.

I have only been a guest here a few times and each time I have been amazed at just about every thing I see. This place is a private club with many prominent members who have some of the highest standards of comfort and care. Bravo.

Such a lovely event space! I have been coming here for years for an annual holiday party (NECA) and everything is amazing. The food is delicious, the drinks are good, the staff is delightful, and the place is decked out for the holiday. Members get to access other special areas of the D.A.C. but non-members are always made welcome to the general areas.

My husband and I drove in from Chicago and stayed here for his birthday weekend. It was a great experience from check in to check out. The staff was attentive, polite and very helpful. We wanted to see the entire club so we asked if we could have a tour. Godfrey was able to give us a tour and we could tell he was so passionate about the club and its history. The food was great and the facilities are clean and absolutely beautiful. Thank you!
