So
worth
the
wait!
I
had
been
craving
country-fried
steak,
and
I
Googled
"country-fried
steak
near
me".
It
came
up
with
2
locations.
One
was
a
place
I
will
never
enter
again,
and
the
other
was
Breakfast
at
Tiffany's.
I
thought,
why
not?
I
had
seen
the
place,
but
had
never
eaten
there.
It
was
a
Saturday
morning
and
a
bit
on
the
late
side,
after
11
a.m.,
and
I
parked
across
the
street.
I
went
in
and
my
name
was
taken
for
a
seat
at
the
"bar".
I
went
back
to
my
car
and
waited
about
a
half
hour
or
so.
I
got
a
phone
call
that
my
seat
was
ready,
and
walked
back
across
the
street.
I
knew
what
I
wanted,
having
perused
the
online
menu.
I
got
a
cup
of
coffee,
and
ordered
my
country-fried
steak,
scrambled
eggs,
home
fries
and
rye
toast.
The
coffee
was
perfect.
Not
too
long
later,
my
plate
was
placed
before
me.
It
looked
great.
There
was
Texas
Pete
hot
sauce
on
the
counter,
and
I
do
love
my
eggs
with
Texas
Pete.
Everything
was
absolutely
delicious,
and
my
waitress
did
not
fail
in
refilling
my
coffee
a
few
times.
I
have
been
recovering
from
a
horrible
head
cold
and
really
wasn't
eating
well
that
week,
so
when
I
was
finished
with
my
breakfast,
and
let
me
tell
you,
there
was
nothing
left
on
that
plate,
I
felt
so
good!
I
tipped
my
waitress
well,
as
good
service
warrants
good
tips.
I
was
thanked
by
more
than
one
of
the
staff
as
I
left.
I
will
absolutely
eat
here
again.
I
couldn't
be
happier.
