Had an absolute blast at this bouldering gym while visiting Hanoi for a week. Met some really cool people who were also travelers like me, but also locals who loved to climb too. They set up some really interesting routes throughout and they seemed to love to create dynamic starts. It was fun to collaborate and solve the puzzles. I was visiting in the middle of a heat wave, so it did heat up as there's no central AC, but I was still able to enjoy by going earlier or later in the day. It was pretty reasonable pricing for a day pass ($7-8). You can rent shoes and chalk too. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a spot to climb while traveling or even living locally.

Great bouldering gym! Uyuen at the front desk was so helpful and great to talk with. She even tried to help us get tickets to a show as we were tourists and unable to call the theater. She is a strong V6 climber, but went out of her way to make sure we had a great time. We will be back for sure!!!

Excellent gym in Hanoi. Spacious, good sets that don't crowd the walls, nice range of climbs that cater equally to beginners and more experienced climbers, super friendly staff! Definitely recommend checking them out They also organise guided trips up to the outdoor climbing area in Huu Lung outside of Hanoi. Went over the weekend and it was mind-blowing.

Definitely a must-visit place if you're looking for a Bouldering gym in Hanoi. You'll love it!!! Great route setting, equipped with a Kilter board and a Moon board, bright, and airy with a lots of big fans, clean toilets and changing rooms, good value monthly membership/ punch pass and day pass. Also, I'm especially impressed with their lovely and helpful staffs and the good climbing community formed here - one of the great reasons keeping me coming back. Joining their weekend trips to Huu Lung (Lang Son province) for outdoor climbing has brought me so much experience and joy.

Awesome climbing gym! A mix of route styles and holds and an excellent variety of beverages for before, during and after your climb ;) would definitely recommend for all levels! Looking forward to going back

Spacious bouldering gym, catering for both beginners and very experienced climbers. (There are a fancy kilter board, moon board and beast makers). Bouldering problems are interesting and require brain and micro beta. Calm before 5pm, then crowded with locals afterwork. A great (and main) focus is made on expanding the community and its diversity. Outdoor routes are set every year in Yen Thinh (Lang Son) where Vietclimb homestays are welcoming climbers from all over the world in mind-blowing nature. Great facilities, great spirit, great fun !

This is a great place to climb. 240,000 VND for one day climbing, shoe rental and chalk rental. One of my great experiences here, I will come back here more often. Friendly staff that made me feel comfortable, firm cushions, very good red beer. Near the gym there is food, after climbing for a while, eat and return to the climbing room. everyone should try this room, my experience was great here

Stumbled across this while in Hanoi for 3 days! What a great place to let off steam and learn new skills! Plenty of routes and climbing walls for all skill levels, helpful staff and very well priced day passes, memberships and equipment hire! It'll cost you around £6/7 for a day pass with shoe hire and you'll have hours of fun!!

Really enjoy the climbing experience there. I think Vietclimb is one of the best climbing gyms in Ha Noi, with spacious area for resting and enormous climbing wall surfaces. What I enjoy the most whenever i come here are the long overhang routes in the cave area. Always draws out most of my energy after the first few tries. The staffs are super friendly and often ask you to join their attempts to tackle a project. If you are in Ha Noi for a few days and would like to try something fun and make friends at the same time, make sure to drop by. Can have a coffee or beer at their mini bar as well! Highly recommended!

Great bouldering gym walking distance from out hotel in Hanoi. Nice system with climbs for all ranges. Enjoyed the music and positive energy in the gym. Good prices for day pass and chalk bag rental. Lots of fun! We visited during Christmas evening, great hours. A group arrived from their outdoor excursion while we were there and we wished we could have joined. Thank you Vietclimb! You are very cool!

It's a rather small but nicely set up Boulder gym. Problems range from beginner F3 to very advanced F7B in six different colors to indicate the difficulties. I found the problems to be quite diverse and interesting. The facility has a lot of fans that provide sufficient cooling but has no ac. I come from Freiburg, Germany where I Boulder regularly since one year.

Mao and Tu, the couple who runs the homestay are friendly and welcoming. Tu is a great cook, and I would stay here just for the food alone. Of course, most people stay here for easy access to the climbing. There's modern sanitation, clean water, hot showers and motorbikes for rental. Everything you would need for the perfect climb stay!

Small but challenging bouldering gym. A great place to get into shape before you go on one of their rock climbing tours. For instance to Huu Lung; it looks Halong Bay with rice fields instead of water and you can climb the rocks!

Such a great place of you're into climbing. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The wall itself is tough enough, but there is a great selection of climbs, from easy to very very hard!! Best place to go climbing in Hanoi!!!

Good bouldering gym. Good range of difficulties. Only complaint is that there’s no AC, and the fans weren’t enough :( It gets pretty hot when climbing. Make sure to bring water, as water costs money over there. For 2 shoes, chalk, and day passes, we paid ~450k VND

It's a great place to get some addictive satisfaction by training those fingers. Unfortunately they went into modern style of setting up the boulders, for which you need more space, and VietClimb lacks the room for appropriate training on current setting. There are smaller gyms that give you more options. However highly recommended.

Really nice bouldering gym with clearly graded problems and dual language safety notices in both Vietnamese and English. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and there are a range of memberships from day passes to different types of extended memberships, including a happy hours one month pass from 9-5pm. There are lockers for personal items, a few showers should you really need it, and shoes for rental and sale. I bought a new pair of footwear for around 1.6 million VND, after being offered the opportunity to try on three pairs. Very nice !

Says it’s open in Google at 9am but apparently there is a competition happening tonight so they are not open for the day. Would of been nice if they update this so people who travelled far to climb would know in advance. Unfortunate as this is my second time there and I liked this cozy gym the first time round.

Sadly no aircon, a bit tooo hot to climb for long. But cool climbs (nice mixture of slab and overhang!) and friendly folk. 210k for single trip including shoes. (My pair of shoes were super old though, made my socks really dirty). Quite quiet for on a Monday evening about 7 people in there between 6.30-8.30pm.

Great little bouldering gym in Hanoi. There are a variety of routes, but because the gym is small you would have to wait to climb if there are others. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and I was the only person there besides the nice lady working the front desk. Day pass (9am-5pm) was $1,200 which is a great price compared to bouldering gyms in the US. They have a locker room if you need to change and the bathroom was clean. I didn't need to rent anything, so can't comment on that. I also noticed that there were hang boards available if you want to train. Thanks for the workout, Viet Climb!

The o oh climbing wall in the city. A little bit small but enough to train a little and have some fun. The routes are nice but if you are a strong climber you can do it all in a very short time. You have some training section and they arrange trips to climb around vietnma

Small and simple bouldering gym. This place is equipped with a campus board, moon board, and traverse board, in addition to the bouldering area. Climbs are rated based on an umbrella system that encompasses one to two grades. It has all the appropriate amenities including a bathroom and locker-room, with showers, but does lack a water fountain. Overall, the price was fair.

A great place. Vietclimb offers routes for all types of climbers. The solutions for the routes arent direct or blunt and require legitimate problem solving, unlike other gyms. Vietclimb also gives a sense of community, with its warm and welcoming employees. Overall, Vietclimb is a great climbing gym with a great community and it makes do with the minimal amount of space.

Great little bouldering gym. Route lableing system was easy to follow, and had an equivalency chart, which makes it easy to understand the difficulty if you use a different system. There is a small overhanging section, which was fun. The staff are friendly, and can even help you out with where to climb outdoors while in Vietnam.

If you are in town for a few days like I was and need to get that need of climbing out of your system, this is the best place to do so... Great atmosphere, everyone is extremely friendly so its great to just go by your self and get to know people as well.
