There are very few clubs in Asia that don’t centre on girls in skimpy suits bringing bottles to your table with sparklers or VIP areas to feel better about yourself being better than everyone else and Savage is this. It’s pure unadulterated fun. There are two rooms with amazing music and amazing sound. The staff are warm and friendly and there is zero judgement towards anyone, making it a welcoming and safe space to PARTY. No one cares how many bottles you buy, no one cares how many hot girls you have at your table, and no one cares about what you’re wearing. I love this music institution and everything that it stands for 🫰🏽

The club was good a few years ago. Not it's crowded with Vietnamese who need another 100 years to get to that music and start to understand the concept. Now the club is packed with locals who visit the place to just to hit on western girls. Also people who come now don't come for music but because they know it's full of foreigners. OWNERS, KEEP THE FORMAT OF TECHNO! Time to start face control!

Great music, especially in the little club room in the back. Unfortunately the service is very slow and poor, the beer is warm, and it costs 80k for a water. Watch out for the taxi drivers outside with the rigged meters and scams - use Grab instead.

A nice club in Hanoi, comprising two different venues and a rooftop area for relaxation. This club is well-suited for individuals who are fond of underground clubs. If you are looking for a place with a unique atmosphere and technical features, this club should be at the top of your list.

Snugs 6-year anniversary was a blast. Fairly small club, but feels spacious enough. Great mix of atmosphere in between the two floors. Absolutely LOVE that you can't smoke inside. Haven't had such a great night as in 'clean air' in a long time. Danced for hours.

I have made many memories here. Good drinks, good music, well mannered people. If you are looking for any of the above in Hanoi, try Savage. I am sure you will have a good encounter.

Savage is a stable of Ha Noi nightlife, I've been going here since 2016 and had so many amazing memories, have met the most amazing human and listened to the best music. They also have a queer party series everymonth called Snug with drag shows organized by Peach - one of the must see if you're in town! Note: there is entrance fee, drinks are fairly priced, staff are friendly and processional, LGBTQ+ friendly.

Not sure why anyone would bother. This place is tucked away from everything else. We got asked for 10,000dong to park the bike which is outrageous, and then they wanted 200,000dong for entry. We gave up and left. Literally no where else charges this kind of price unless they are really elite clubs and big events happening.

Techno lovers, this is the place to be. Pretty cocktail list with a variety of spirits and even the choice to craft your favourite drinks. Happy balloons are available should you wish to partake, and clean toilets!! Best remembered by us for its wonderful and cozy atmosphere.

Nice interior and cool outside area. The people were a little bit weird, the music wasn’t really to my liking, I prefer a little bit harder and groovy techno but I guess it was all based on the event that was happening that night. Got quite bored after a while

Mixed feelings! I had high expectations for this place! We had to wait for an hour to get in even though we had booked tickets. The stages are fine music could be better!

200k entry to a place that offers Saigon as its only beer . The rest of the experience is spent looking at people getting wasted on balloons . Avoid . It won’t be round for much longer such is the life of mediocre bars and nightclubs in Tay Ho .

I have to say “wow” in every single corner of Savage. Hot DJ booth with superb DJs from VN and international, cool signature cocktails will blow you away and so many secrets that you would want to figure out in here. I and my friends have had lots of good time in Savage. Really recommend if you’re looking for a quality venue to night out at weekends.

One of the finest clubs in Vietnam and certainly in Hanoi focused on underground electronic dance music. Great monthly program with local as well as inrernational artists. Another highlight at Savage is their monthly queer night called Snug which you don't want to miss if you're around. For the lovers of music on analog they have Pond records store. Overall Savage is very admirable Musical and Community institution.

Savage is the heart of the Hanoi underground electronic music and queer scene. The venue is very intimate and focuses on electronic music from local and international artists with the intention to help develop the Vietnamese music scene and create a community(and that is what they have achieved). A good example of this is their monthly queer party Snug, where they offer local drag artist to perform. There are many international guests but also a big portion of Vietnamese locals! If you want to experience the Hanoian rave culture, then you should not miss Savage!

I enjoyed this little underground club alot. DJ had a great selection and everybody was into the music. But, please put more bass on the lower floor. This is not how a function one is supposed to sound.

Easily the place with best music in Hanoi right now. Recommend getting tickets in advance. Drinks’ prices are steep. So is entrance fee but so worth it. However parking should already be included if I’m paying 200-300k for a ticket though

I’ve never been to an underground club in Asia that as cozy as this place here, the partion of the place just incredible. The first floor have record store “pond” and inside the house is the temple called “red cube” where people can just get loose, incredible armosphere. If u wanna take a bit of rest and change to mood you can go to the second floor “Anter Room” for the more friendly party music and high ceiling. Overall you can just walk around and enjoy the place it selves ps. the no gender toilet is the best

absolutely hated the music. I love techno and all kinds of experimental stuff, but this was just repetitive sounds for 1 hour, nothing interesting. They need to improve their dj game, especially for 200k. It's a proper festival money there spent on clamp of nothing. And you can't smoke inside as well. Probably never return back to this place.

Amazing place. Overpriced and 200k entry fee which does not include anything, but the vibe is great. Feels like a rave party without actually having the security concerns of the real one. Just beware of people sharing vapes and other things, they might have other "ingredients". Also don't carry your passport with you , the area outside the club is pretty unsafe !!

stylish club with a decent range of international DJs coming thru. music mostly focused on techno, house & disco. prices are a little steep (80k for water!). crowd can sometimes lean a little too much towards white dudes in floral shirts who probably have notifications turned on for when slav uploads a new boring house track to youtube. sound system in the ‘red cube’ is p decent. sometimes there are drag shows, which is cool. snug is probably the least gay ‘gay night’ i’ve ever been to, lol. mostly this spot has made me realise how much i miss being a regular at korner in taipei. oh well! just don’t expect it to be Berlin and you’ll still have a good night if you’re into ‘underground’ dance music 🏂

Dope place with a nice concept! Love the small steam room in the back, price is also decent. You'll have a good night depending on the DJs, crowd, vibe, etc. it all depends when you go to!

Such a rip-off! The halloween event entrance fee after midnight was 200k when the event itself started from 10 and already ended at 12, basically you’re paying 200k just to come in and dance.

Thought has been put into the decor and atmosphere of this club. You can enjoy lounging around or moving you booty to some pretty good beats and delicious cocktails. It is a fancy experience, expect higher prices for alcohol and at least 100k gets you in at the door.

If you love underground music Savage is the ideal place for you! Good music and lighting. Club goers add up to the good vibes, really. Staff are attentive and friendly as well. There’s a rooftop where you can rest and enjoy the air.

A great nightclub to enjoy a cocktail or beer with friends. It's not too crowded as other club in Hanoi, so we sure that there's more space to talk, dance, and chill

Amazing vibe with good music. They have different kind of dance floors : Techno and Disco and some chill area for people to chat and rest. Drinks are cheap compared to other clubs. One of the few Lgbt club in Hanoi. The entrance fee was quite high maybe because i went there when there was a event.

My life in Hanoi and Vietnam wouldn't have been the same without Savage! Best Club for the underground electronic music lovers from disco, to house, to techno and all genres in between. I have seen some of my favorite artists playing there and discover amazing local artits too! And this is where I made all my friends :) They also have a coffee shop and vinyl store so you can enjoy the space during day time too!

Hands down the best club in Hanoi, really nice and friendly staff. Drinks menu is extensive and they make cocktails! Music program there is ELITE, something for everyone with a nice happy disco house vibe upstairs and harder techno downstairs. My favourite club in Vietnam 🙃

As a dedicated music lover and music scene explorer I wanna emphasize a few things, that I want to highlight regarding the electronic music scene in Hanoi and the club Savage: The scene: Hanoi's electronic music scene is relatively fresh and young. There are still people, in 2023, not even knowing about the existence of electronic music genres such as ambient/(acid) house/experimental/techno music etc. Only within recent years a remarkable number of young and talented Vietnamese DJs as well as DJ's moving from all around the world to a vibrant Hanoi are shaping the music scene as we find it today. Small, but immensely growing. The club: With it's foundation in 2016, Savage has set the foundation for being the first underground club, celebrating electronic dance music in Hanoi. Founded by a team of professionals working and living for the electronic music scene in Asia, the club focuses on a high standard in offering quality music. What I absolutely love besides seeing big names such as Gerd Janson, Skatebård, Cinthie or Answer Code Request (ofc I would name them all, but no space) is, that I get to discover the local scene of DJ's in Vietnam and Asia and their fabulous taste in music, such as Gonno, Di Linh, Ouissam, Cora, Khoi Mai, Manikk, DOTT. (ofc I would name them all, but no space). You will find two well thought-of constructed dance floors, each equipped with a Funktion One soundsystem and an absolutely cosy rooftop terrace with a magnificent view of the city. The spirit: To me, it is absolutely fascinating, that people still get the chance to explore and discover the freedom of self-expression within the electronic dance music sphere. The club is a great example for how they cherish and protect the community by making sure, people who don't honor the mutual vibe of respect and acceptance, will get kicked out. By creating the queer-friendly party series, Snug, the team behind Savage has again implemented another core element of electronic dance music, with cherishing and strengthening the LGBTQIA+ community. Monthly drag shows, by brilliant and (high-)fashioned drag performers, rounded off with a cast of colorful DJ's are set to pack the dance floors. The conclusion: If you enjoy electronic dance music, you will find yourselves surrounded by like-minded people in Savage. Highly skilled bartenders and friendly staff guaranteeing an overall splendid night, full of joy and new friends. The overall quality of music, concept and staff is top-notch. Some people might complain about the high fees concerning the entrance and bar. I want to mention that you can always purchase pre-sale tickets until the day of the event, which cost 50% less then the tickets at the door. If you are willing to spend 20€ to go to Berghain (500K VND) than these 8€ (200K VND) are well spent at a night in Savage and you're investing in a long-lasting music scene.
