I showed up with a broken wrist, after confirming my appointment and insurance information with them beforehand. The insurance provider sent over all of the required information and paperwork guaranteeing that they would cover the treatment, which is all that is required. Yet, due to unknown reasons (which seem to be race related), they decided that they wanted me to pay in advance and have the insurance company reimburse me instead of them (despite having a direct payment already established with my insurance). Not not only that, but the guarantee from the insurance company and my debit card payment weren’t enough, they demanded a credit card as well (which I don’t have due to the theft which caused the injury). In the end I had to take another taxi all the way across town, with my broken wrist, and get treated at a much better hospital. Their behavior is sad and unethical.

Risk of personal information leakage. After seeing a doctor here, I suddenly started receiving ad letters from personal insurance companies. I do not believe I signed any document concerning the disclosure of my personal information to third parties.

I known Raffles medical brand prominently growing up from Singapore. As traveller, we know that medical bills can be high as a foreigner. But top notch medical care is worth paying for and it’s not guaranteed you will find it in a foreign country. My whole trip here before, during & after was nothing short of the 5 stars quality Raffles Medical brand was suppose to bring. As a young lady, it helps me to trust the brand more even if it is not situated in Singapore. I called up the clinic to check on the price and insurance coverage eligibility. I was greeted by someone over the phone who has no problem speaking great English, it was a great relief. She was prompt and efficient in returning my calls with the answers I need. When I reached, I was promptly registered with a 1 page form. I’m pleasantly surprised that they have around 20+ doctors from international countries (not all on duty I think) who will be paired with your nationality to avoid any language barriers plus they can speak English! I was served by Dr. Lao Zhun Neay who looked after me with great compassion, patience and connected with me in a humane way rather than as a ‘Patient’ to quickly check out of. He explained my medical diagnosis with online visual guides. Never rushed the consultation if I wanted to know more. Most importantly, the doctor will pass you to the front desk who will inform you of the charges before any further procedures is done— that is a key cost transparency step all medical institutions needs to practice. You have the choice to continue the treatment or not. Clinic is very clean. Everyone speaks well. I am now more confidence to travel the world especially if Raffles Medical is available in the Asia country. My total bill costed me 6.8 Million VND which could have allowed me to stay in 5 stars hotel for 3 nights. But let’s not forget that we are in a foreign country. Make sure the medical care you have is at least worth paying for! This is why you need travel insurance as foreigner. For locals, this private healthcare is definitely exorbitant as it is even for us— You need to think twice and choose it only if you have private insurance or if no one else in your entire local hospital can treat your case. Thanks Raffles Medical Team! 🫶🏻🌿

In this morning I came for influenza injection here. After injection, wait about half hour and we may go out as they check any reaction. It was made in Holland. Clean here most of staff and doctor can speak English very well. Some of them can speak Japanese, too. One injection was 397K vnd. Payment cash or credit card is also acceptable.

Absolutely fantastic and professional care by everyone including reception, nurses, and of course the doctors. Cleaned, stitched, tetanus shot, and antibiotics. Thank you once again for the care provided.

Complete blood count cost: 25 (!!!) times more expensive than at another clinic (VND 1,500,000 here vs VND 60,000 at other clinic). Is there any way to justify that? I don't think so.

Called to find out the price of a rabies vaccination because I was bitten by a cat. I was told that I first need to pay a 2,000,000 consultation fee with the doctor ( even if I already know what I need) before I can get the vaccine which is 500k.

I had to be late for an appointment and I called ahead to let them know, they told me it wasn’t an issue and so made my way to the clinic. I was filling in a form when the doctor came out and clearly she didn’t know I was supposed to see her and she started talking about me in a very rude way and then left for her lunch, I was told I couldn’t see her for another 2 hours (not that I’d want to after being spoken about in such a way). Massively unprofessional to be taking about patients negatively in the middle of the reception area, and since I was visiting for an anxiety related illness I left feeling much worse than when I went in.

I went here for physio-therapy, which my insurance had pre-authorized. Still, they asked for a credit card before I received treatment, but I didn't have one. t gave them a debit card instead, but they wouldn't take it because if insurance didn't pay, and my bank balance was too low, they wouldn't have any way to get their money., They said that if I didn't have a credit card, I would have to pay for treatment up-front, and collect from my insurance company later., That's a lot of paper-work and waiting and I didn't want to do it, so they refused to treat me. The thing is, the physio session was less than $50 US, and the chance of not being able to collect from me or the insurance company was quite small. I am appalled that they would actually cancel my session just to avoid a tiny chance of losing a mall amount of money. They obviously care about money first, and their patient's health second.

It is very disappointing that this place be called a clinic and scores a high rate given its many many deficiencies and shortcomings as so called medical clinic! The doctor in here knows absolutely nothing about the specialty. Case in point, I told the general doctor, because they do not have a specialist doctor by the way, that I had back pain for a long time now and she pressed on my back at the spine, and asked me if I felt pain, I said no! I do not feel pain, then she told me that you got no problem!! What!! I am very very shocked by the review that this clinic gathered! The reason I came to this clinic in the first place was because of the high rate given to it! But after I checked it myself, I caution everyone to stay away from this place and save your money for another Hospital!

Came here mid trip due to some food poisoning, fever, and dehydration. Received quick accurate help. Everyone spoke good English. Walk in if urgent. Entrance is behind Frasier apartments. Thank you Dr Lai for saving our trip.

As far as hospital visits go, this was very pleasant. I don't like visiting doctors or hospitals, but this was a positive experience. The staff were courteous and efficient. My doctor was very affable and didn't seem to be in any rush. He listened to my concerns, and explained himself clearly. It was expensive, and my insurance didn't cover my visit, but it's worth it for the quality of care, efficient and quick service, and excellent staff. I got the full battery of required tests, but the doctor did give alternative options in case I couldn't cover all the expenses. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again. It's a lot less intimidating and far easier than navigating local hospitals. They also welcome walk-ins which is very much appreciated. If you can afford it then it's well worth it, but there are cheaper options available. Have alternative payment options available in case your insurance doesn't cover your particular case. They are very upfront with their pricing, so you can discuss with them and find the best options.

A fantastic clinic with warm, friendly staff who will give you the care that you need - including mental health care. I'm impressed and will definitely come back here if I am unwell again. Thank you to all the staff.

I had a vaccination course in this clinic, and it was a good experience. Personal speak English very well, everything is clear and pleasant. Price is not cheapest, but normal: it was about 2.5kk for first consultation and vaccine shot and 1.2kk for another consultation and vaccine shot

Came in here with high fever, had thorough examination, blood and other tests. Results came in in 30-40mins, had medicines prescribed, some IV fluids. The doctor was super kind, explained everything in details. Everyone speaks English. Can't compare the prices with public hospital, but would go back here definitelly if something happened. Thank you!

I've been there two times and each times, the treatment was really good: Once for an ophtalmologic emergency with small surgery. It was a Sunday at 20 PM. Th doctor came in 20 minutes and in 5 minutes, the surgery was done without any problem or pain. The second time was to remove sutures and again no problem. Yes it is expensive. I paid 8 euros for the sutures in Sapa and 52 just to remove the suture in Raffles. But just to compare, I went to the hospital Français first (because, I red that it was cheaper) and they wanted me to pay upfront 70 euros not including the sutures removal... For me there is no comparison

They are a scam clinic who will first tell you that your consultation will be paid by your insurance company and then will charge your credit card without your consent.

They charge 2,000,000VND for anyone who wants to see a doctor... they say it is a policy....2million VND for vietnam doctor who graduated one of the worst level of medical school in Vietnam...???😱 and this is not even formal hospital...it's a clinic...

Excellent and really helpful service plus only a short Grab ride out of central Hanoi, when I had to have a rabies booster prior to a trip abroad. The clinic was able to set an appointment for me on the following day, after I had emailed the times I was available. The reception area provides an English, as well as a Japanese speaking help desk, and the consulting rooms are as you’d expect well provisioned. I’ll definitely come back in the future for my Japanese encephalitis booster. Affordable rates, in my view.
