A doctor's visit to this clinic is 500.000, but I could not get in, because the girl at the reception ABSOLUTELY does not know how to communicate with clients! Rude and boorish behavior is not acceptable for the hospital! I think management needs to take action! The guy in front of me was also not happy with her.

I was at HOng Ngọc Hospital (Yen Ninh, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi) on 15 May 2021. Honestly, I was really disappointed about the services and the price rate of this hospital. I had a very small wart and Hong Ngoc's doctor said that I need to have laser burning. I was not strange with that because I often get warts, 1 ~2 times/year. And I usually have had Hong Ngoc's medical treatment, last year was VND 500,000/laser burning ($22) But this time, the cashier informed me that the price is VND 1,000,000 ($44), double as compared to last year. I was so surprised and asked cashier "Why", she told me to climb up to ask the doctor. The doctor explained simply "Ah, the price is up..." I was wondering why the doctor did not inform me in advance. And the price was double is unacceptable. Then, I was shocked at price list of their warts treatment (given by cashier), it is from 0 ~ VND 10,000,000 (0 ~ $435). It means that the price of Hong Ngoc depends on doctor's mood. The gap is too too big, and the doctor can give any price if they want. I decided to terminate their services. After that, I came to Hong Phat hospital (private & as well-known as Hong Ngoc). They charged me only VND 200,000/laser burning ($9). That's incredible. About Hong Ngoc, since I left phone number with claim so that the management called me later, his 1st question is "Can you tell me what happened at that day?. Wow, he is manager, he is management, he would asked his staff about whole story, but he ask me... That's weird...I am really concern about their services.

English speaker maintained continuous contact between staff and doctor. Health exam included chest X-ray, ultrasound is lung , spleen, kidney, abdomen. Complete blood profile. Approx two hours provided exam results. Approx 2 million dong, all inclusive. Efficient, friendly staff. Highly recommend. Pharmacy and emergency room on site.

Do not go to this hospital for Covid testing - they say their charges are VND 600k on the phone - then when I showed up they charged VND 300k extra for translation - my hotel tells me that all Covid reports are in English and Vietnamese. So this hospital takes advantage of those traveling and need the test reports quickly. -I found later that there are other hospitals who collect sample in your hotel and bring the report to you at the hotel and charge less.

I had a dental appointment, arrived on time. They seated me, and forgot about me for 30 minutes. I had to go back and check before they remembered me. I then had the dental service and they then spent twenty minutes after the necessary procedure trying to convince me I needed additional services (that I didn’t, I visit the dentist regularly and have never been told my wisdom tooth is a problem). They then failed to give me the required documentation for my insurance necessitating a return trip, where again I was kept waiting for a considerable amount of time for them to provide me with the correctly stamped and signed forms.

Highly, highly recommended. Excellent service. We are tourists, just arrived from Philippines and my wife had a high fever, headache etc. The support and service from arrival to leaving was professional, efficient, and stress free. Examined by doctor right away, there was translator, communication was fine. They only did the tests that the doctor deemed necessary, ie: they didn’t do unnecessary tests to get more money from us. While waiting for the test results, free food is provided in their 4th floor restaurant for the patient. The restaurant is a lovely and relaxing environment. All the staff made the entire experience calming and without stress. And we were in and out in under 90mins. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Worst hospital for the amount they charge. Better can go to a government hospital. My husband had a dislocation at shoulder. We went at 1pm. They took urine test, blood test, asked for thiroid test. Doctor was not available for 1 hour from our arrival. Till 5pm no results. Doctor made us wait saying anesthesia need time as he ate but he didn't eat anything. Doctor had no knowledge about the issue. We got fed up and asked to discharge. They tried to convince us. After that we went to vinmec and he got his shoulder fixed in 15 minutes. Hong Ngoc only money. No quality doctor. Vietnamese will know about the quality of the hospital but foreigner please beware.

Went there to remove stitches, we were immediately greeted by a translator staff member, waited 10 minutes after some paperwork and went in a procedure room to have them removed by a doctor in less than 5 minutes, along with the translator. Very humble fees, quick and no-fuss service, even though the waiting room was quite crowded. We wish all hospitals were this efficient.

Checking through health insurance here is unthinkable. Payment is very limited, complicated and extremely crap

Super fast amazing service, i wish australian doctor visits were this good!! 1st visit specialist wasnt available, they refunded money, my 2nd visit was equally as prompt and professional as the 1st!! Horrible service, kept prioritizing local patients above me at every department. Been 4 hours to get my health check and I am still waiting to get all the checks done.

cannot even begin to explain the levels of unprofessionalism i experienced today. went into this place as someone who doesn’t speak any vietnamese to get medical help for someone i was traveling here with. the translator barely spoke any english and ditched us after the first 10 minutes we were there. i had to ask five other employees to find her to interpret the results of some tests that a doctor ran. later when we went to see a specialist, the same translator and the specialist would laugh at our questions. we’re not used to this medical system. we very clearly aren’t from here. we were terrified that the symptoms happening could be a sign of some major health issue we didn’t know about and instead of reassurance or comfort, we got laughed at to our faces. in the end, meds were prescribed for the symptoms but only after asking over and over again because the symptoms were getting unbearable. absolutely ridiculous.

Had a surgery there and except MY doctor and his team (nurses,assistants…ect) they were the best to me it was an external service from this hospital. As foreigner living here for 4years this was the first time i had to face this. I HATED my stay at hong ngoc hospital so disappointed , I was on the 5th floors and the staff were horribly ignoring me the whole stay there (2nights) the nurse from my doctor’s team had to ask for assistance all the time. They did not care about me and I don’t think it’s because of the language barrier because I had a translator all the time. We were two in the room and they were so much caring about the other patient than me foreigner. I felt so abandon and unfair at that time and also felt like a bit of racism in the air. Even one day the nurse came in the room took the other patient blood pressure then looked at me and just went out of the room without taking my blood pressure. Not talking about the way they treated me when they had to assist me with changing or giving me medecine I felt like I was disturbing them (based on how I felt at that moment) FIRST TIME this happen to me in Vietnam. Make sure you check out other hospital before coming here. And plus they are charging foreigners double price for one night…. No wonder why.Definitely NOT recommending this HOSPITAL.

As a tourist from the Uk, I was immediately greeted with a translator who stuck by me the whole time. He helped me sign in at reception and translated everything the doctor said. The initial price for a doctor consultation was 500,000dong (around £17). Very professional- Would recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi in need of medical assistance!!

I was there because had some a cough which didn't go away for a few weeks now. So when I arrived there, an english speaking staff helped me all the way. I paid 500 000 for the doctors appointment(there is an free meal included) and about 350 000 for some tests and another 300 000 for some medicine. The staff translated everything with the doctor. I felt like beeing in good hands. So would recommend this hospital for foreigners, needing an appointment in Hanoi

As an English-speaking tourist, I had the best care here. I was admitted for five nights and all the staff I experienced were highly competent. They provided a translator to communicate diagnoses and were extremely thorough and efficient. I did not have to wait for testing and the hospital is very clean and well-staffed.

Worst hospital ever! Overpriced and rude, uneducated staff.

Excellent experience. I went today at 3 o'clock and I was in and out in about an hour. No waiting for rooms, I was always seem immediately. There are a few doctors and nurses with great English. The staff is all very nice. They let me keep all my exam forms and scans when I was done, so now I have an x-ray of my insides which is cool. They have a pharmacy inside the hospital. They also have a free buffet on the top level that's actually really nice.

Went to get cast split for flight home. Security staff helped me in and out of car and on steps. Seen immediately by doctor and staff with translator but doctor could speak some English. They explained why I didn't need the cast split and off we went. Staff very pleasant and attentive. Very clean

The hospital is clean. Some staff are not so friendly. Came here for stitches and they not only didn’t clean the wound for me but let me wait for just less than 2 hours despite saying ‘15 minutes’ wait time. For 3 stitches was 2mil, which was a lot of money but I came here for the speed and well, I paid so much more money than at other hospitals just for them to waste my time, still. They are no where near underpaid to be having this quality of customer service.

I was really surprised and impressed by this hospital. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I had a wonderful experience. They have translators who assist you immediately. The doctors and nurses where absolutely lovely. Their english level wasn't 100% but enough to get the message across. The facilities are clean and modern. The prices are reasonable. You also get a food voucher to use at the restaurant. I'd definitely recommend coming here.

The doctor prescribed medication for 7 days but asked for a follow-up examination within 5 days. Unscientific. Last time examined at this hospital. Can't trust the hospital's medical ethics anymore.

I have been to the hospital multiple times and my experience have been positive! Upon arrival, you will be greeted and guided by one of the large number of staff. The doctors are also kind and medical services are standard and good. They are quite experience with English-related medical forms and requests. I am particularly please with the staff, who went beyond to help me with an administrative issue to obtain the management signature. These are little things but are problem-solving and memorable which would definitely bring me back to use their services again whenever necessary. Thank you Hong Ngoc staff!

I was at the hospital a few days ago and it was a pleasant experience. A staff, Tram, was very helpful and was with me all the way to translate as I only speaks English. Her English is very good and has been patient to explain to me the details. This staff deserves commendation. I was attended to very quickly and I was glad to choose this place as it is very efficient.

Went to the hospital and had everything done, blood cultures, sputum cultures, all kinds of appointments, 3-5 days to get the results back. My brother was in the hospital for a whole week and he got better, but I still don't see any results? But doing tests is expensive, not cheap. Made a bunch of useless things that can't be used. Every day I call to ask if I have the results - I just let her check and no one calls back, saying my phone is broken and I can't get through?? The hospital is clean, everyone is conscientious - but I rate this 1 star. Floor 5- rubies

Doctors checked carefully and provided professional advice. At the same time administrative service is not so excellent. You may have to wait long time and go around the building.

Went here for an RT-PCR covid19 test, and they charge an extra inconspicuous 900.000VND (approx 39USD) for a "preliminary test and consulting" fee (which from my experience is just a really basic checkup involving the use of a stethoscope and nothing else) on top of the 731.000 VND(approx 31USD) standard price for PCR testing. Would not recommend anyone come here for covid testing unless you are desperate.

I went for a check-up on my ears. Service was friendly, professional and efficient. From the moment I arrived until I left, I was clearly directed and attended to. I hardly spent any time waiting to see a doctor. The charge was very reasonable at 500k, and it included lunch (which was a decent buffet selection). The hospital was clean and I'd gladly go back again for any future medical needs. Thank you to all the staff who attended me :)

Came here because of a eye cyst. The doctor was very nice. And they have English speaking staff who are very helpful and friendly. So don’t be afraid to go there it’s affordable too.

The receptionist who can speak English is very accommodating and really helpful all throughout the process. She assisted us and explained everything well. It was a great experience and did not have difficulties as a foreigner.

Was seen in the ER for a stomach infection. Very happy with the service & fair pricing. The doctor & staff spoke English & explained everything to me. Left with detailed medical records & picked up medication for treatment.

I recently broke my ankle in a road accident and I got a cast with them coasted me 5 million and asked me to come back after 10days and when I went there they wanted another cast and this time they wanted to charge me 6 million … so I decided to go to thu cuc which is only 2.2 million .

Excellent service for foreigners! Came at 10:00 Saturday with a sinus infection, was greeted by English speaking staff. Paid 600,000 fee (bring your passport), waited 15 min to see doctor and by 11:00, I had my meds from the pharmacy and was done.

I would not recommend this private hospital to friends for minor surgery. They charged me 6 million to change the bedding (normal sheet, nothing special) ONCE in my 5 day stay, and for the inpatient clothes after surgery. I am very disappointed in this hospital that seemingly charges unjustified amounts for below par service. Maybe I'll leave a better review if someone could justify why I had to pay 6 million.

I recently had an emergency at Hồng Ngọc Hospital and I can’t say enough regarding the great care I received during my stay. The doctors and nurses were knowledgeable, compassionate and extremely efficient. They made me feel safe, listened to and comfortable. An appointment on the website does not work and it is difficult to understand where branch office of the clinic is which u need. But. Chat is working. The chat is used to consult and make an appointment. At the hospital, you meet an English-speaking guy who shows you where and what to do. I visited an ENT doctor. The doctor spoke English too. The equipment is good. The reception went quickly. I have no doubts about the appointments. I bought my medicine here on the first floor. Cost was 600k. It's not cheap, but not expensive either. They did not try to prescribe unnecessary tests for me.

Run from the hospital! The quality oscillates between “really weak” and “so so”: For example, I experienced blood sample omission (I asked them to check something, they just forgot…), doubtful test results, loss of my reports, errors in reports (report “left leg” problem although having problem with the right leg)… to the point that you start to question whether it is a joke or not. Unprofessional. Also, the prices are expensive. That’s not really a hospital, but a money sucker… They make you pay for an official report (500.000 vnd) or extra services. Not a hospital, but a business company . I decided to never come again and I advise anyone to do so. Score: 0/10
