American needing RT-PCR for entry to Japan. No wait for test. Price $500000 vdg. We had to come back for results 6 hours later bc we do not have a Vietnamese phone number for them to text us test results. Only complaint, I wish they could have emailed the result. All in all good experience. Staff was quick and helpful. No appointment, we walked in on a Friday at 3pm

I made my appointment at 7am to have a very standard health check, yet when I came not only the registration counter forgot to register my appointment, leaving me 30 mins of waiting, then got my name wrong on all papers. I was guided to come to the General Department to see a group doctors and nurses sitting inside the room and was said they are having a meeting. Even when the meeting finish, the doc wasn't really ready. We had no idea what was going on and what to expect. Though I made myself clear during the session that I didn't want to do surgery today, the doc still put the decision of doing surgery on paper??? I can compromise with the team but I can't do the same with the service provider at this hospital. At least, people need to know what to expect, rather than keeping people to wait in a crowdy environment. Employees are divided into tiny sections in which one person would do 1 job only, that makes a patient has to travel all levels of the hospital in order to have one thing done. Working in the hospital is stressful. That's why they seriously need to upgrade their system to minimise work for their employees and have better customer service.

I started to have a high fever and stomachache from the first day of my trip to Hanoi. As a foreigner, I hoped to get better without seeing a doctor, but having suffered for three days, I ended up going to this hospital. First of all, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the doctor who was on duty at the emergency room between 21:30~24:00 on June, 1, 2023. He spent a generous amount of time on explaining in English and making sure that all the documents were ready for traveller's insurance. He also looked up a pharmacy that was open at a late night. Next, I also would thank the nurse with all my heart who helped me to call a taxi(Grab). I didn't know until I was going to pay the driver that the nurse had already paid fare on her mobile when she arranged for the car. I wish I could pay back and thank in person for her kindness. Thank you very much!

My friend had a sore throat and wanted medicine. Just one look and they said tonsils need to be surgically removed immediately. They are very persuasive. We declined and went to another hospital for proper care. Don't come here...be warned...

I would give rating of 0 if there's an option. OBGYN service here is terrible and disgusting. Both doctor and nurse made verbally humiliated, disrespect and attack me on my body and personal choice. Before screening, I required to not have endoscopy though I paid for the extra service, they kept enforcing me to do endoscopy and implement it without my consent. They deceived me with conversation full of disgust, disturb and insultation. This is unacceptable. I feel not only unsatisfied because of poor service and bad hygiene, but also feel insulted by medical staff. AVOID this location and specially OBGYN service here.

I got a Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Test here today (saturday) in the morning. It was a very easy and seamless process. Costs 78K, which is substantially lower than what past online results/reviews claimed. They accept card and cash. I was able to get my results via their website with the only issue being I had to receive it in Vietnamese since requesting an English copy always resulted in an error. If you need a covid test for travel, I recommend this place.

Went there today for a covid 19 test. No English but very efficient. 2 million vnd as apposed to other approved clinics or hospitals that are over 4 million. Very friendly and helpful staff. 👌

Horrible service. Would not recommend. I went to get Covid-PCR test for flying overseas, and had to wait for ages. They made a mistake in assigning the room for general check-up, and when I questioned them about the long waiting time multiple times, nobody actually bothered checking their mistake. You would be better off be going to a public hospital.

I paid three times more only because I am a foreigner. I found out that the price for the examination was 510k but because of my "white face" I had to pay one million more.

Went there to do an international COVID test. Works well and is very efficient, 78k for one antigen test (ATK). The results are received within an hour through an sms and the printed certificate can be received at the same place.

It also operates on Sundays. COVID-19 testing can be done on Sundays as well. On Sundays, it gets crowded early, so hurry up. There is a lot of waiting from 9am.

As a foreigner, I had a good experience, everyone was attentive and got treated very well. Was there for about 3 hours, got blood work, chest CT, saw the doctor twice and saw an ENT specialist. Which would never happen in that short of time in my country. Only downside was staff didn’t really speak English, we communicated through google translate.

I had an amazing experience. I went in with a minor injury that I wasn't sure if it needed medical attention or not. I didn't have to wait at all and I was sent directly to the doctor's office. He said it's ok and recommended what to buy in a pharmacy and how to take care of it. Also advised on two other minor things. Then I went to the cashier and she told me I don't have to pay anything, because there were no tests etc. This completely shocked me as I usually get charged a lot for consultation only. The place is modern, clean and professional. Good location and convenient garages.

Called in advance to book a cotinine test for my life insurance. They said to go to the My Dinh location to do the cotinine test. I go the next morning, and they say that Medlatec doesn't do cotinine tests. Awesome

Nurse in Collection area is unfriendly, even very rude. Hope she can be better to anyone else. It was very unpleasent experience

Antigen test was good experience. 100k, walk-in, no wait. Test was administered gently. Result took around 30min. We went for a walk in the area and then came back, the staff printed the results for us.

We came to take two rapid antigen Covid tests. The hospital is taking tests 24/7 and one test is 80,000 VND. The staff is speaking basic English which is sufficient to communicate with them. The registration and the test went quick and we had to wait 30 minutes for the result. The results were sent via sms and we also picked up a print out.

My hotel booked me in for a RT-PCR test at the hospital. The service was quick and efficient. There was a member of staff on hand who spoke good English and answered all my questions clearly. The doctor who did the pre-test check also spoke good English. The price is good, only $32, and the results are available the same day. The certificate is in Vietnamese and English. You need to complete a health declaration online before you go and you must pre-book your test. My hotel helped me with both these things. You do the pre-test paperwork at a school which is next to the hospital. There is clear signage to direct you. Hope that helps

Inefficient hospital. Average wait time over 40 minutes even when you have an appointment. If they send you to another doctor, you do another 40 minutes. Expect to spend half a day here. If you are foreigners, they will not help you. Just waste your time and send you around.

I look for STD test in Hanoi. I did not make any appointment I just come go show to registration. After consult with the registration downstairs I got exactly what I need so it was called a STI rapid PCR (550.000 VND) and a Rapid HIV (70.000 VND) . The hospital is very clean and busy. I see no foreigners there but they are helpful even they speak little English we can still communicate through google translate. The result is quite fast for HIV took 1.5hr and STI took 24hr. I really recommend anyone who look for STD test in Hanoi. The price is very affordable compared to international hospitals in Hanoi.

Covid-19 rapid antigen test (walk-in). 78,000vnd and very smooth process. Arrived around 7am. I waited 5 minutes to see the receptionist and was tested almost immediately. Gentle and very professional. Results/hard copy received after 1 hour. FYI, there are 2 Medlatec buildings on this street. The covid testing center has a large sign outside that you can't miss. Everything is done on the ground floor - dont forget your passport!

I did 2 things here. Not satisfied with the medical check up, they just let a trainee did the check up and they're talking in Vietnamese while I was there being observed. They just told me that everything is okay but I was feeling numb that time. That's really weird. They didn't even bother make any recommendation or referral to other doctor and I kept saying my hands are numb, they just ignored me and asked for my payment. Although, COVID test was fast and reliable.

Very long and tedious process - I spent 3 hours for a simple check up. No English speakers in the building. Staff uses Google translate. Difficult process to use my health insurance. Staff wanted me to “pay now.” I wouldn’t recommend this hospital to expats.

Needed PCR test to fly to a country. Im a foreigner. Make sure to bring your passport and a mask. Staff didn't speak any English. Turnaround time is 12-14 hours. No email option - have to come twice. $500 VND. I didn't have to wait each time I came. Lastly, as far as PCR tests go.... They do put it higher in your nose than most PCR tests that I have done.. Highly uncomfortable.

Not helpful at all! It says it’s opened 24hours but it’s not. I came at 3 am with strong pain in my back, it was difficult to walk and very painful, they didn’t open the door for a long time and after 20 minutes of calling they finally opened the door, invited me to come in, ask what’s the problem and after they said sorry, we cannot help, go to any other hospital! With strong pain! Definitely not recommend.

Brilliant communication from the staff and an easy simple process that was all done with very quickly. I came to get the PCR test. 1.2million and I collected the results the following morning.

My review is more so about the booking process than anything else. I used this hospital a couple of times for tests and procedures and found it affordable and accessible for foreigners. Recently this is not the case and I have been sent away several times due to them not having an English speaking doctor. Booking in advance helped last time and they kindly provided a translator but now I am unable to to even make a booking as their contact form on their website doesn't work and trying to communicate in English via their hotline is also not leading me anywhere as I could not establish which of the two hospitals has a suitable Dermatology dept. I'll happily remove this rating if the service improves back to the previous standard but it is poor at present

As a foreigner, it just seems like the staff don't care. It's just like a cattle farm, they push you through and take your money. The hospital is good if you know what you want, but want any information regarding what your paying for, or any concerns, then good luck. Furthermore, some of the staff just push you on to others because they don't want to do the work.

There was a long line up for antigen test although it was weekday lunch time. The nurses who handle the clients were generally nice. However the reason I gave poor rating was the clerk who seem to deal with paper work on the left room. She constantly ignores clients who attempt to ask for the results or inquiries. She was rude and has shown amateurish attitude towards customers. Hope this kind of treatment never happen again.
