Recently had two crowns done and doing another two next week. What a fantastic experience overall. The staff was friendly, professional, and highly responsive. Texts and emails were answered expeditiously and the overall feeling was warm and welcoming. As for the actual procedure, Dr Arne was incredibly professional, personable, and made the experience of visiting the dentist enjoyable. He explained everything clearly and patiently, and offered several options based on my needs. My teeth look and feel fantastic, I can't imagine going anywhere else. Highly recommend Westcoast and specifically Dr Wiemann!

The nicest clinic with very friendly doctors and staff. Dr Arne at this clinic is one of my favourite dentists ever. He is very friendly, skilled and so knowledgeable. He takes the time to thoroughly explain what he is going to do and goes through the treatment plan in detail. Very professional I must say. Makes the patient feel comfortable. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE THIEVES. Lied and cheated me with $90 extra fees. I asked the receptionist how much a cleaning would cost and she said between $15 -$20 depending on the condition of the teeth. So I said fine. Expensive for Vietnam, but I needed one and it was nearby so whatever. Aparently, the EXAMINATION costs $20 and the cleaning is a different charge, see image. I went in for my cleaning, and they gave me a bill for more than 2.7 million VND ($120). I was irate. They charged me for scaling and polishing ($60!). I never ordered that. I only asked for a cleaning and she said the cleaning would be max $20. Also, there was a $30, again I was not made aware of this cost. She said only $20 for a cleaning. The dentist needed to take some X-rays for my back teeth so I said OK. They never said it would cost extra money, but I understand that X-rays cost money so whatever, I won't complain. I never asked for a scaling or polishing, the dentist just gave it to me while I was in the chair and I was unaware that it was anything other than the standard cleaning that I ordered. Do not trust these people.

The best dental clinic in Hanoi. Recently I had dental crowns and bridge replacement in this clinic. The result is outstanding and far better than my old crowns and bridge. Dr. Arne did an outstanding job. From the consultation to putting a crown on, It was the most painless experience at the dentist in every way possible. The nurse and the staff are also very helpful. I highly recommend this clinic.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and I am so incredibly grateful to Dr Arne and his incredible team. After visiting three dentists in Vietnam and in Austria, I was still left with underlying dental issues that went undetected which nearly lost me my tooth. When I arrived in Hanoi from Scotland I experienced horrendous toothache. I came across Westcoast International Dentist. After reading great reviews and recommendations from the Embassy I made my appointment with Dr Arne. I’m a nervous patient. He immediately put me at ease. I recently visited west coast dental and got 3 fillings and had a problem with one of them during my stay. West coast booked me into see Dr Arne who re done the filling. He spoke me through the whole process and explained everything. I couldn’t recommend him more. I felt very safe and informed during the whole process. I am a registered nurse myself and he had amazing bedside manner.

Dr. Andrew is kind and caring. He took the time to carefully explained the procedure and offered follow up appointments at no extra charge. Dr. Andrew answered all of our questions and gave us advice on what to do should there be any complications. The dental staff in HCMC were kind, polite, and made us feel welcome. At no time did we feel rushed to leave the office after the procedure was finished. Our family would recommend Dr. Andrew for dental work requiring surgery and sedation.

Many thanks to Dr. Arne Wieman for his detailed and professional work! My front tooth was long overdue for a crown, but I've always been a bit nervous as it is such a prominent front-facing tooth. Dr. Wieman made sure to explain everything clearly to me and the procedure was as comfortable as could be. He took time to to test the crown with me to make sure it was the right shape and shade of white, and even sent it back to the (external) lab to be remade when he wasn't satisfied with it. He explained that even the smallest gap between the crown and my teeth would cause me a lot of daily annoyance as food would get caught. I've had the crown in for 6 months now, and there have been no issues. It's clear that he is very skilled at his craft and treats each patient with the utmost care. Thank you for what you do!

The Westcoast international Dental clinic is the best address for dental treatment in Hanoi for sure. They have a very professional doctors, which can manage the treatment of any difficulty. I would like to mention a great teamwork of Dr. Andrew and Dr. Arne at the field of implantology. I recently went to Dr. Arne for a root canal and crown replacement, and the entire experience was first class. If a root canal can be called a pleasure, this was it. Completely painless, and thoroughly professional service from beginning to end. I should note that this was not a routine root canal, but a complex procedure that entailed the removal of an existing crown, the root canal itself, the treatment of an abscess with significant infection, and finally the fitting of a new crown. Dr. Arne did an outstanding job, and I would recommend him without reservation. He is the most competent dentist I've ever visited.
