Sheets and duvets are clean. Morning attendants enter the room and talk loudly, the night attendant is an aggressive person. there is no kitchen. No hot water to drink coffee. It is chargeable to leave the bag in the hostel for a few days.

The dormitory rooms have too many beds in one room. But the beds are comfortable, and travelers are given individual closet space, so that makes it better. The hotel is overall good for the price and provides breakfasts from early morning. The lake and many attractions and tour offices in Hanoi city are walkable from the hostel. The staff is friendly and welcoming. One can also make good friends with other travelers during their stay.

Not my favourite hostel in Hanoi, the lady who works the desk is VERY helpful, she played music in the evening and helped guests as much she can, happy to chat and have a laugh so thankyou 😊 - guy on in the day time kinda sucked, he was rude at first, not very helpful and was just on his phone 24/7 .. i told him there was spew in the bathroom and he didnt care too much. The hostel is not very soundproof so you can hear the construction up until 11pm and horns honking at all hours.. the beds are not comfy and very noisy. Also security? people just seemed to wander in as they pleased? It didnt feel very secure, if you walked in with enough confidence the man on the graveyard shift wouldnt question you, I had 2 very ignorant drunk people wander into my room who were NOT even staying there.. one who puked all over the bathroom and overflowed the sink and helped himself to a bed?!! 🤢 The breakfast was the worst hostel breakfast we had so far (and we heard many complaints made, the day guy did offer a girl his fruit to compensate - which was nice) when I asked for a coffee I was handed an instant sachet... like hellooo we are in Vietnam?! Where is the good stuff? + after the night of no sleep I needed condensed milk & sugar, a comfort coffee (or 6x so I went elsewhere) also the small communal space is dirty, no one really cleans up or empties the bins. The cleaner lady was lovely but she'll just wander into your room at all random hours of the day/night... this is not a place if you need good rest. Disclaimer: I think hostels should adopt a question to all guests "are you here to party?" If you click yes, because most are then all the party animals can get put into a pen so all the young nanny & poppy travellers like me can attempt a quiet nights sleep.

This new hostel is at the center of Old Quarters, so it's very easy to walk to lake, beer corner, or night market. The hostel itself has very nice decorating. I love their art on the wall... everything is perfect in details. It had just 4 rooms, so it's not crowded as the other in the town. I stayed in mixed room on 3rd floor and it was wonderful: the room with balcony, bed is comfy with curtains, bathroom and toilets are very well cleaned. Their breakfast is the best during my Vietname trip! And staff here are the best!!! They treat you like family! Thank you team for your wonderful hospitality and atmosphere!

Perfect location Some of the staff was nice, some not. They allowed 3 little children to stay in the dorm which is totally inappropriate. Cleaning lady took a nap on the floor in the dorm. I would not come back.

The worst place I’ve been to in Vietnam. The staff guy was rude, he slept on the couch when we arrived , and made us feel like he’s doing the biggest effort of his life to check us in. Didnt help with the bags even though we were on floor 3 (there was no elevator.. obviously…) When we got to the room the guy turn the lights on even though people were sleeping. The room smelled of sweat as if the people that stayed there haven’t showered in a week or maybe a year. The place doesn’t even look a little bit like in the pictures, its just weird and creepy looking. the showers were so bad, the place that you’re supposed to hang your stuff was right under the water so you can either wear wet clothes or get dressed outside in front of everyone. The rooms have air conditioner but the hallways are hotter than the sahara and moister than a jungle. Just do yourself a favour and pay 5 more $ for a normal place.

High five hostel is a perfect budget spot to stay for one or two nights before heading to other tourist destinations in the surrounding areas (Ha Long Bay, Ha Giang etc.) They also do package tours for these locations which is cool. It's very chill, staff are nice and the location is literally perfect. However, if you're looking for a social hostel with a common area or bar to meet other travellers, I would look for a more social hostel.

The place is very good located. Beds are very comfortable and clean. Each bed had light, curtain and plug. You feel as if you were in a private room. However the staff was neither friendly nor helpful. Breakfast was not good. The hostel had not a good atmosphere. In general is a good place to stay but don't expect a kind service

Such a great stay! The hostel is new and nice decoration. Itself with comfortable big bed and curtain, so you still have private space for yourself. Location is the best- restaurant inside the hostel is good and fair price, the other restaurants, bar, lake are within 5 minutes walking. The bus 86 to airport ($1.2/ ticket) is just 1 minutes walking! And a big thank to incredible team who support us during our stay!!! You guys are amazing!

Best hostel I've stayed at in Hanoi! 3rd time here and staff are always incredible and helpful. The bathrooms are always clean with hot showers. Aircon dorm rooms are big with lockers and room to put your things. Beds are comfortable with curtains for privacy. Definitely get more then what you pay for.👍👍

A bit dirty, not a good atmosphere and some of the people who are staying seem like long term guest and are always talking loudly on the phone or watching YouTube without headphones inside the dorms, just not nice vibes. The only positives was the receptionist lady who was very nice other than that nothing special about this place, if you’re on a budget I guess it’s a good option but you can find a better spot with a dollar more!

I arrived very late in the night and was checked in promptly. Though I tried to pay at the time of arrival and the guy at the reception did not have change he asked me to pay in the morning. The room was very packed literally so many people in that space. The following day breakfast was included in the price and when I went down for breakfast the guy at the reception said you first pay and then eat breakfast which I felt was very rude and I paid and then had breakfast which was not great as well. The reception then asked me to check out at the earliest which was again rude it's not like I did not pay for this so called place but I do not understand whether this is the lack of understanding the language or is this their attitude with all customers. And I went back and read more reviews about the place and most of the reviews talk about the rude behaviour of the staff. Anyways not at all recommended for their cheap behaviour.

More than 10 beds in a room but the bed was comfortable. Brushteeth with nice street view and fresh breeze during cooling season. Conveniently walk to the “hot-spots”.

Such a great hostel. Very clean, and the maids are great. I lost an item and forgot about it, then checked out but stored my bags there and when I came back about an hour later to get my bag. They had found and cleaned my lost item and returned it to me. 10/10 service. The people at reception were very good and helpful. The hostel is also a great location just around the conrner from everything you need. Would defo stay again!

Location is very good, near the main pub streets of downtown. The staff is extremely warm, give immediate assistance, and managers speak very good English. The towels are changed every day! I'll definitely come back there again.

I loved staying here, I came back 3 times when I was in Hanoi! The staff and the owner are so cute, beds are very clean, there are privacy curtains, they provide a towel for free and you’re not asked to give any money or passport at check-in! Location is central, breakfast is good

Giving this place a very good rating for the following reasons; * The location is just so amazing all the famous party Street is right around the corner. * The rooms are super comfortable and very well maintained. * They have great wifi so If you're planning to work from here its great. * The breakfast is the best part of the day * They also provide package to ha giang loop, ha long bay and other places. So its all in one combo.

I have nothing to compare this place in Hanoi, since it was my first time. But, its a nice place, friendly staff and location wise - everything is accessible. Clean rooms too! Only downside is, someone broke the shampoo & body wash containers during my stay and they didn't replace it.

Amazing hostel, probably the best we've been in all Asia. Staff super, perfect beds with good privacy thanks to the curtains, cool rooms with very spacious lockers, really yummy breakfasts for only 30k, very good position, really close to everything without being inside the mess. Bonus points: free beers on Sunday and Wednesday.

Wow wow wow! Amazing experience staying here. Everyone from the staff is kind and amazing. I arrived on the 13th but my booking wasnt until the 14th but the guy at the front desk helped me by calling the hotels that had a room for that night. When I came back from halong bay they also helped me by letting me stay in the lobby until my train came giving me a place to winddown. So kind of them. Great staff, clean rooms, good breakfasts, great value. Dont Change Best -Jimena from Peru🇵🇪

The staff was so friendly and helpfull: When I left the hostel to go to Nihn Bien I forgot my cellphone charger in the room, and the girl from the reception sent it to me by a guide that was doing a tour to ninh bihn in the next day. I'm so gratefull. The room was very clean and the location is amazing. 100% recommend.

It says under 6 years is free,my son is five. when I check in, the reception didn't say anything, after one night sleep, the boss charge me 2 nights even more expensive than I booked on agoda. Receptionist at night is very lazy not willing to help you with anything always. Terrible hotel cheating owner, dont go.

This hostel was so great! Staff were lovely, provided free breakfast and tea all day, very clean! Only thing that was slightly odd - no curtains in the mixed dorm….

Racist receptionist, called multiple times you Indians are like this and that. Also, they ask for additional money when you have a pre reserved booking online. Please avoid, rooms are bad and toilets have presence sensors, which goes auto dim every 15 seconds. It's very hard to attend to nature's call when literally they have time ticking light on top of you.

Loved my time at this hostel. Very clean rooms and washrooms. Management are dedicated towards their job in customer service and support. Except that I lost my sports shoe from outside the female dormitory. Had informed the night shift staff who mostly sleeps in the couch ,but he didn't put any effort to help out. Ask the housekeeping lady staff too but she said she doesn't know. That was disappointing. I had to keep it outside dorm since i prefer not keeping shoes inside bedroom as shoes does release odor smell, and in my country we have a habit of keeping shoes in shoe rack outside rooms. I strongly feel housekeeping staff removed it from there. But it was their duty to atleast ask before just removing it away and later losing it . Also it was neatly kept at one corner. From my observation, the manager of the morning shift ( spectacle guy) is really good at his job. Very helpful with everything and always looks cheerful, amazing guy. However night shift guy doesn't know English at all, and is not active in his work, seems lazy and not interested in his job, he needs more dedicated training. The female owner is a nice and helpful lady as well. Anyways, I loved this hostel, considering I was a solo female traveller, I felt safe and at home. Thankyou. Request- Please install AC in the reception hall, it was very hot and sweaty. People are sitting there working in computers, eating, also I noticed the manager was really feeling hot and they work there for so many hours , so not just guests, also the manager should get that comfort. Who sits there throughout the working hour.

I've stayed here multiple times coming in and out of Hanoi, probably 3 weeks in total. I love it! Everything is very clean: the showers are clean and the bedding is changed every day if you want. The food downstairs is available all day, very tasty, and very cheap!! The atmosphere in this hostel is peaceful, it's not a party hostel. Most importantly, the staff here is so kind. They help me figure out the hours to different places and help me put more data on my phone. I feel very comfy here, it is like a second home. The location is unbeatable, just two blocks from Hoan Kiem lake, with great coffee shops and restaurants on the block and right around the corner. It's just a 2-20 minute walk to all the tourist sights. I very highly recommend it!!!

So clean. Professional staff. Breakfast is nice. Some of the best staff members who understand hospitality. This was the only hostel in Hanoi that has the most competent staff members. Thank you, all!

The location is great, the staff were nice and helpful, the beds and bathrooms were kept clean. Not sure why the female dorms seemed to have curtains whilst in the mixed dorms they were absent…

I was excited to stay in this place. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience, there are cockroaches in the beds, too much noise from people entering, leaving and passing through the room. Furthermore, the staff never gave me a solution about the cockroaches, they only told me that they couldn't change my bed and they retired to rest without giving me the slightest interest. If you want to have a good stay in Hanoi, I recommend NOT staying in this place

I can't complain . Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and had nice AC. Breakfast is for free. Sheets and towels where very confi. Best bang for the buck I reckon. Water was free. Toothbrush and Toothpaste as well. I would recommend this to everyone who's interested in a cheap but very central located hostel. Peace out
