Showers are dirty. Lobby room is dirtier than in the pictures. Everyone can smoke there. The rooms smell bad and do not have AC. They rent towels for 10000dongs and you can have a locker for a deposit (refundable) of 50000 thousand. If you want to sleep, do not go there. The street is full of party people and loud music. Do not expect to find shampoo or anything, bring your own. It is normal it is like this for the price it has, but still, it could be clean at least.

We booked a semi-private room with 3 single beds inside a 8 bunk bed room on the 1st floor. There's also a mixed dorm room on the 2nd floor that has a small balcony. Basic amenities such as separate toilets, hot & cold shower, lavatories, individual lockers, wooden chairs, shoe racks, washing machine and stable Wi-Fi connection. The host: Kevin is very accommodating and even helped us with our luggage and showed us around the Old Quarter. Ta Hien Street is like the Khaosan Road of Hanoi, the Hostel is tucked in a small alleyway, away from the busy street noise.

The beds are ok, hard to reach the top one and they are very close to each other. Blankets are warm enough which is good. Lockable but small lockers and the toilets were nice but during our first night they had no water so everything was very gross! Also they don't really have breakfast included, only instant noodles that you have to make yourself. Location is great though and the staff is nice. Not a comfortable stay but affordable and probably nicer when you can actually use the showers and toilet...

Bed was very small and not comfortable. Staff member stayed above room so when anyone checked in including late at night you would see and hear her coming up and down the stairs. Good location next to the bars but only good for one night.

Very nice hostel, owned by a great Spanish guy from Barcelona. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are nice, clean and quiet and the included breakfast is tasty. Nice rooftop and a common area.

Nice budget hostel in Hanoi, next to bar street and plenty of local dishes in the evening. Staffs very helpful and friendly

This place felt pretty run down. To begin with this place was quite dirty and during our stay there was no water (ie no showers and gross in the restrooms). The staff were surprised when we mentioned that we had breakfast included so they only gave us a pack of instant noodles each. Would also have been nice with air-conditioning and lockers for the backpacks. Otherwise the staff were alright and the location was good.

Not very clean, many passive aggressive notes everywhere. Very near beer street, although there is rules that say no partying and no drinking. Actually got a good night's sleep but only because there was only 2 other guests.

The staffs dominate places where supposed to save for guest's belonging, they cannot give good advice for local food or places. You can come any time and have a rest in waiting zone.

This place is timid. It's difficult to find and there aren't many guests. However it's good that they have mirror, handwash and hair dryer at the bathroom. Bed is comfy
