Good room with all neccessary services. Very good breakfast. Reasonable price. Friendly staff. I will definitely stay in Ga hostel next time if I will come back to Hanoi.

A nice hostel tucked away in an alley (if you're looking at the temple, turn left and walk about ten metres), with a charm like no other. It is kept very clean and the staff are lovely, lunch is available every day and there are numerous toilets and showers, I never had to wait. A large locker is provided to every guest and the beds are big enough for even tall Scandinavian types.

Absolutely a great experience. I used this as my home base. I was able to leave items with them while I went on short excursions to visit Sapa or cat bay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms nice and cool with AC, everything kept so clean. Free breakfast each morning was basic yet outstanding! Trust me on this, they offer tours and tickets through the hostel. On the street you may think you are finding a better deal for less price, but there are so many tour places that are scams and don't actually do what you pay for. I found this out the hard way. Go through them, you are getting the best deal for the best price because of peace of mind. They know what they are doing and are always available to call if something goes wrong from a ticket or tour and they will fix it. I am so glad I found this little gem in the old quarter. You must sign up for their cooking class and free Hanoi tour. Also buy your lunch or dinner here a few times, it's the best.

Great hostel if you want to be in old town but positioned in a little quieter area. The staff was very friendly and sweet. Daily activities like cooking classes and yoga are offered for free! Clean and comfortable, would highly recommend if you are in need of an affordable place in old town and don’t mind not having a private room

Awesome front desk staff! Very kind and helpful! The showers were gray in our dorm room. Coldest showers in Asia yet and you can have hot if you like. Great location!

I loved staying in Ga Hostel! Sometimes hostels - many in Hanoi - focus too much (in my opinion) on their party image. I want a place I can sleep, too! Ga Hostel was much more relaxed and cozy. You can absolutely socialize in the common area when you wanted to (they even host cooking classes), but you can also get to sleep before 2 or 3 am. It was the perfect balance for me. The staff was wonderful, the location was perfectly convenient - so glad I found this place while I was in Hanoi!

Last month I came back to Vietnam and decided to stay in this hostel. Firstly, because of its location near Ta Hien street. I chilled out a lot with my friends there. Secondly, the room and service was fine to me. So I feel good with Ga hostel.

Amazing staff! These people are so special to be kind and loving to all their guests. It was a pleasure to have a night here. It clean and so quiet!!!! It is a very typical hostel and there is a yummy simple breakfast. Egress and ingress are easy after check in with a door fob. They provide a locking cupboard for each guest. Recommend it.

The hostel is comfortable and in a great location. The best thing about the hostel is the staff, the girls are very friendly and very helpful with everything you need like a bus booking, printing documents, money exchange, city tour guiding... They cook great dishes that you can take part in. They explain how to eat at local customs and what the dishes consist of. Recommend to following guests.

Ga hostel is super nice. Very friendly staffs. It's close with a lot of famous places so I can explore it easier. There are cooking class, luggage storage and foot treatment is specially, I've never heard about that before. So amazing !!!

I stayed in this hostel for a single night . It's a small and quiet hostel in the otherwise loud neighborhood ( old quarter ) . The staff is very friendly and always smiling. The hostel has free walking tours and yoga classes . They also have authentic Vietnamese cooking classes which is organised by a wonderful lady who shares her family secrets of cooking styles . This is accompanied by girls who are interning in hospitality sector which gives them an opportunity to interact with foreigners and us to know more about life of people

A great hostel if you're looking for a more laid back environment. A decent common area to chat and mingle with fellow travelers as well as the staff. They have a pretty basic breakfast and an open kitchen as well. Overall, I would highly recommend this hostel if you're not looking for a party hostel but still want to meet others!

A warmest hostel in Hanoi. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is good and comfortable: clean room, good bed and accepted buffet breakfast! They have cooking class and free yoga class too. Highly recommend to stay here!

I stayed at Ga hostel for only 1 night when I visited Hanoi and I had a great time there. Such a cool place for meeting new friends, feel like being home. Friendly and supportive staff, nice and cozy room, clean bathroom. I will definitely stay here next time when I come back Hanoi

A good and cheap place to stay in old quarter Hanoi. Friendly staff, clean rooms and lots of activities to do like cooking class and yoga time 3/week. It's a little difficult to see on the outside if your new, just ask the locals and they will help you find the hostel. Overall very satisfying will come back for sure.

Probably my favourite hostel in all of Vietnam. It's a lovely quiet little place in a great location but tucked away from the busy streets of Hanoi. The staff are great, very welcoming and helpful, I felt very at home. Cooking with My My was great fun and the free yoga with Lucia was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again.
