What an unexpected and delightful find. Our first time trying Egg Coffee and we left feeling very pleased. It was extremely busy with locals and a few tourists but they have plenty of seating and the service is quick (table service, pay at the counter downstairs). Google maps doesn’t take you to the right place, it’s just round the corner, see my image for reference. Maybe type in the cafe name!

Excellent egg coffee, which is a must try when visiting Hanoi. We had delicious banh my here on a food tour, but uncertain if they serve them regularly it not. They also did an egg hot chocolate for kids.

I gave their egg coffee rum a try, and it was quite enjoyable, especially with that unique rum flavor. However, for food, items were bought from other street vendors nearby and served. I heard they also offer cooking classes and coffee-making classes, which could be interesting.

Hands down the best coffee I’ve ever had. The taste of the signature egg coffee is something you have to experience for yourself. Te rich texture of the foam formed from the egg makes it feel almost as if you were drinking a dessert. If you’re looking for the best taste of Hanoi don’t miss this place!

Rich smooth egg coffee. Found only in Hanoi. The taste really depends on the individual. My wife was fine with it but I didn't quite like it. Small place with added upper floor sitting capacity.

We had the best time with the Egg Coffee class. It was so fun to learn how to make it yourself. Siri was an amazing instructor and very friendly. You can also choose to make an extra coconut coffee. Lunch is included aswell! Highly recommended.

Lovely, quiet place. The egg coffee was amazing. But the real treasure of this place is the staff. They let us leave the backpack for more than half a day in the restaurant!! They were so kind to us, we recommend the place for the traditional Vietnamese coffee as well as for the staff.

I did the Egg Coffee Class and had a brilliant time! Vy was super lovely. She’s very knowledgeable, kind and caring, charismatic and has a great sense of humour! I made a coconut coffee, orange black coffee, and egg coffee. All three were delicious. This class gave me a much better understanding and appreciation for Vietnamese coffee culture and I’m glad I stumbled across it on my travels. Vy - I wish you all the best for the future, I am glad we have met!

I have tried a couple of cafe around this Old Quarter but this place sure made the best egg coffee. It’s not heavy or too sweet or eggy at all, they just managed to make the egg cream in a very nice balance. Must be their secret 😊 Would definitely come back here to have another cup.

Small place with a cosy balcony overlooking a quaint trading street in the Old Quarter. Good for a pitstop and to try egg coffee.

Bit of a hit and miss at this establishment. We were staying next door at a home stay so went here the first day and the coffee was really good, salted and egg. Tried it again a couple of times and just nothing special, food was just ok but can get heaps better out on the streets. For a place that offers cooking classes this was a bit of surprise. Atmosphere another hit and miss, sometimes felt like we had two heads other times not so much.

i wouldn't give it a miss. Coffee, food, service and ambience. Simple, nice and away from the usual crowd. Hidden within the fruit market stall. Priced reasonably. Contribute from 🇸🇬

This is a cute cafe with a collection of comics to read and a wall of adorable cat ceramics. The egg coffee was delicious and the Bánh Mi was seriously flavoursome. They did forget our food order even though we were the only people in the cafe for most of the time we were there (another couple arrived towards the end). We ended up waiting 40minutes for our Bánh Mi, turns out they made them and it was sitting on the bench but no one brought them to us, hard to understand given how small the place is. It was a little frustrating, they were apologetic and kind about it. I would return again, but definitely politely follow up your food if it's been more than fifteen minutes.

Great way to learn to make the best Vietnamese coffees. We made three, coconut, salted and egg coffee. We learned so much and a (very good) banh my was included in the price.

Mehrstöckiges Café mit super Egg Coffee. Kochkurse sind auch möglich und man kann dort wirklich gemütlich sitzen mit Blick auf die Straße.

Had a really great time in the egg coffee class led by Vy today. It was really interesting being able to learn how and when egg coffee was invented and she was very friendly and great English. All the coffees were amazing and even included a Banh Mi in the price. Thank you so much Vy :)

I can not compare many egg coffees but I really liked this one and would recommend it for every first-time drinker. The flavor and consistency of the egg foam was very exquisite. The interior design of the Cafe was not very fancy or beautiful, therefore we didn't stay long.

Really good coffee served affection and enthusiasm. It was my first sample of egg coffee and I can’t imagine it being done better. The hostess explained to us how to drink the coffee and treated us to a shot of rice whiskey and taught us how to say cheers in Vietnamese. Great experience!
