So good! First café we went to and it remained my favourite ! Egg coffee is a must try! Very nice staff, we even got a complimentary tea that tasted like cookies for some reason 😂. Very unique. The coffee is great with cute artwork. The food is really tasty, I got the yogurt with strawberries and bananas but since it wasn’t the period for strawberries I could replace them with lots of other fruits (I picked watermelon). There was also passion fruit in it. There are a lot of options on the menu and it pretty cheap.

What a gem! This cute cafe offers delicious banh mi, crispy & yummy spring rolls and an awesome egg coffee! We enjoyed our dinner in their cozy cafe and I really loved my egg coffee that came with a portrait of me! ❤️ The person who helped us spoke English which helped us navigate the menu better. They were all very friendly and I recommend people especially tourists to enjoy their meal here. 😀👍🏼

One of the best spots in Hanoi to have a breakfast and a cup of coffee or some smoothie. They have a special vegetarian menu which has a lot of delicious banh mi varieties! Not just 1, but like around 10 different vegetarian banh mi dishes. Those vegetarian sandwiches (baguettes) are definitely one of the best in the city. An owner of the place is very nice and kind man. He speaks English very well and travel around the world a lot, so if you want to ask anything about Vietnam or just talk a bit – you will be able to do that. They have some outdoor sitting by the road if you like it, or you can seat inside (entrance from the side of a narrow passage in the right side), where is quiet and air-conditioning is on. Highly recommend!

We had the most delicious breakfast and lunch in whole Vietnam here! The food is served in a spectacular way with all kinds of extras and it's made with love for sure! We had the vegetarian Bahn mi, very tasty. And also the egg coffee, smoothies and juices are delicious, same as the vegetarian spring rolls. We definitely come back there! Oh, and the people who work there are super friendly too :)

Small omni café with mostly outdoor seating and a limited number of indoor seats. Vietnamese and English menus available. There is a full page of vegetarian banh mi (contains alliums by default). Previous HappyCow reviews said the staff members know what vegan means and that vegan substitutes are available. However, the waiter taking my order seemed quite clueless and couldn't speak English well, while the owner seemed irritated and frazzled (partly because there was a lunch crowd), so I decided to err on the side of caution and requested for no cheese, butter, mayonnaise, etc (but my order still came with mayonnaise in the end). Food was alright taste-wise. There was also a long waiting time (approximately 1 hour) as the priority seemed to be for preparing banh mi for takeaway orders. Drinks were aesthetically prepared, with smoothies made using coconut milk. Nice place to visit if you're not short on time and like Instagrammable food! But otherwise if you're a strict vegan, I would personally recommend the nearby Banh Mi Chay Vegan instead!

I went to this cafe for breakfast, opting for the traditional Bánh mì and the coffee with coconut milk ☕ which was delicious. The Bánh mì tasted good, and the bread was crispy outside and soft inside but being my first experience with this typical Vietnamese food, I can't say more than that. The staff was nice and friendly 🙌 The outdoor seating is beautifully arranged, offering a perfect spot to appreciate local life. However, as the café is quite popular amongst tourists, if you want a more authentic experienxe and mingle with locals, it might be worth skipping.

We came here for breakfast and were surprised by the great amount of vegetarian options. We enjoyed two smoothies and two banh mi’s. They were delicious! Very comforting and just amazing. We came back in the evening to reorder our favourite banh mi.

A very special touch on presentation and taste ❤️. We discovered this little gem a few months ago and we fell in love with it! Now coming back to Hanoi we realized our hotel is just around the corner 😉🤣🤣. One of our favourite so far in Hanoi - super friendly staff, excellent food & drinks, presentation with a very special touch and all that at a very reasonable price. We were very happy to "re-discovered" this place per accident. Of course we are coming back any time 🥰🥰

One of my favorite cafe's I've ever been to. My partner and I visited about two weeks ago and we're still talking about it and planning to return once we're back in Hanoi. Such a special experience. Every item on the menu is served beautifully with lovely extra touches and the most darling ambiance. I hadn't seen the reviews before we visited so I was surprised and delighted by a portrait of myself in my coffee!! Everyone working was so sweet and even sent us on the road with a delicious iced coffee to go. I would recommend this spot to everyone.

Breakfast here was amazing experience! A lot of different choose of coffee, tea and juices. They have option with hot and iced drinks. I decided have a coffee with condensed milk and this was perfect. The food Menu was smaller- one choose of bread with multiple different feelings including vegetarian one! I decided to try BBQ mushroom beef and that taest very good. We will definitely come back here

Great place. Really nice decor. This place can get busy but you can see why. Been here twice so far and will probably be visiting again before we leave. Really nice food and drinks as well. Very well presented. The kind of presentation you get in Michelin star or really fancy places. The coffee is well decorated and tastes good. I've had egg coffee which sounds odd but is really nice and sweet. Definitely recommend this place. The owner is so nice and friendly too.

A quaint little cafe run by very welcoming owners. We saw this on google maps and were immediately drawn to the pretty decor and cute tableware. The drinks come with pretty trays and utensils, making the whole experience significantly pleasing. The coffee is good and defo also try the pineapple tea! We spent hours on their comfy deck chairs and read our afternoon away, while soaking in the peaceful chaos of the ebb and flow of Hanoi traffic. We tried the baguette and it’s not amazing that’s why I’m being a little stingy with giving it the last and fifth star. Still on our search for a mind-blowing banhmi here in Hanoi!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed. First and foremost, the quick service was remarkable. The moment I placed my order, the food was on my table in no time. Speaking of the food, it was incredibly delicious. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the quality was outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes; it was definitely more than I expected. Moreover, the owner's friendly demeanor added to the overall dining experience. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel right at home, and it's clear they take pride in their establishment. In summary, if you're looking for a place with quick service, delicious food, substantial portions, and a friendly owner, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit. It's a culinary experience that you won't want to miss!

We were lucky enough to be staying in a hotel by this cafe for the last four days and popped in every day. The staff were great and really friendly. The food and drink was excellent with real thought put into every drink and it's presentation. As a vegetarian I must commend the veggie options as they were delicious and varied. The "beef" made out of mushrooms was brilliant! Would highly recommend.

Lovely little cafe! The bahmi sandwich was great (crunchy fresh bread and tasty filling) and the orange + pineapple juice was very good! The girl serving is super sweet, seems quite professional and speaks great English! The cafe has only 3 small tables inside and ac is turned on and feels good, even tho the place is open. And outside 2-3 more tables. It's totally worth having a bite here. Precices are good too. Free wifi. 🙋🏻‍♀️ My travel tips & recommendations on insta: deea_journey

This is the best restaurant in Hanoi. Their presentation is impeccable and the quality and taste of the food, fabulous. We loved this place!! We came because of the good reviews and we're not disappointed!! A great selection of coffee at reasonable prices and an amazing selection of "Art" coffee which were also reasonably priced. The art coffee had some great unique options, one coffee "cocktail" with red wine and the "Hanoi winter" were absolutely incredible. No matter what coffee you order they all come really nicely presented and well made with obvious passion going into the making process. As if that wasn't enough the Banh mi was something special. Again all well priced and absolutely delicious, the bread and fillings were perfect with a large range of options. We often don't visit the same place while travelling as we like to explore a little, but we came here every day, the first time we came I ordered a second Banh mi and we ordered two more drinks immediately as we'd finished the first round as it was just so good. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

Delicious Bahn Mi, the Vietnamese condensed milk is surprising me with separated condensed milk and cookies, you can adjust the sweetness. Thanks for the free local green tea as well. The owner can speak English very well, the service is very good. We are very enjoying for the afternoon tea at here. Definitely come back again!

We were invited to this cafe by their social media team on Instagram, I thought they would be considerate enough and welcome us and treat us very well. When we reached there even after informing the staff member what I heard is yes our social media team is different. The lady kept saying we welcome our friends we welcome all our friends. The food was okay.

Was sitting at one of the side chairs while waiting for my laundry next door. The lady owner was welcoming despite so. After checking their menu, I realised how unique their offerings is (They even have coconut wine!). After ordering a cinnamon orange tea. They served a welcoming tea in a vacuum metal cup. I’m quite impressed. The main tea came with banana chips and mixology like decoration! And the cinnamon in the drink was flavourful and intense. Never have I had such an amazing tea in Hanoi after 2 weeks here. So glad I chance upon this unique rare cafe. ☺️

Perfect! I've been there several times and the last time was just beyond all my expectations! It's a small cafe in the centre of Hanoi. Not many seats (just 8 or 10 tables) but it's really worth visiting. All the staff are friendly and English-speaking; they offer a 5-star service. The food is excellent. It's not only tasty but is also served like in a Michelin-starred restaurant. If you are nearby, you MUST visit this place. It's a hidden gem - just watch the video. P.S. They painted my wife on coffee :)

Hands down the best cafe I have visited in Hanoi. An Cafe is a Vibe! With cutesy plant based decor and vintage vibes, this place is accessible and nestled right in the midst of several tourist attractions. The place is super Instagrammable with several supremely photogenic nooks: especially their outside seating - along the brick wall of the typically cute and narrow Hanoi streets. What stood out: 1. Incredibly tasty food - they have excellent vegetarian options, especially Bahn Mi and brilliant portion sizes 2. Mind blowing coffee - now this is a given in Vietnam, but the coconut coffee and egg coffee here are to die for. 3. Coffee art (personalised) - While their presentation in general is quite artistic and brilliant, the coffee art was actually modelled after my friend. This personalisation stole our hearts ♥️ 4. Very amiable staff- The staff was totally patient and amiable. Spoke excellent English and took our queries and customisation requests with much ease. They really added a lot to a beautiful experience 5. Artfully done decor - so this cafe has been designed by a very discerning artist (basis the impressions) and the red, green and gold decor is perfect. Best times to go: I’d suggest going here to kick start your day for a late breakfast. The sun is just right, the birds are chirping and the cafe is bathed in a soft hue (could get a tad warm, but you could always head in) Other facilities: Water, welcome drink - the welcome drink (a Vietnamese tea to cleanse the palate) was very cool and refreshing. Charging facilities for your phones. I’d recommend this cafe as a must go especially for vegetarians and coffee lovers 🥰 Side note: the prices are pretty reasonable:)

Coconut coffee, paired with light and fluffy coconut cookies. Personally, I feel that there’s too much shredded coconut in the drink, it’s just my preference. The taste is great though. Banh mi is very delicious, I truly appreciate all the effort put in by the chef for this. 🙏🏼 The flavors are perfectly balanced, the egg is fragrantly fried, meat and sauce go very well together. The bread is fresh! Indeed a rare find and exceptional place for both food and coffee. Thumbs up for the attentive and friendly service. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I found this place, while out for a walk. Just around the corner from my hotel. The sandwiches are amazing and served hot. The Vietnamese coffee has a wonderful flavours and comes with foam on top. The sign says open at 8am but give them some time to open and get ready. There are tables inside as well as on the sidewalk, where I like to sit. This is my 3rd visit here for breakfast. Come check it out if you are in Hanoi.

I died and went to banh mi heaven! I was hungry, walking around in search of a comfortable place to eat banh mi which I was craving for! THIS is the place!!! There were so many banh mi options to choose from, the bread is crispy outside and soft once you bite in, flavourful, well put together, sauce and ingredients are not overwhelming. Lots of vegetarian and meat options. I also ordered spring rolls, best spring rolls I’ve had in my life. Coffee was perfect! Sooo many options I want to try more of it so I will definitely come back! Owner and staff were so friendly and professional. For a small quaint cafe, it’s like having 5-star hotel service. They speak english. Nice comfy indoor and outdoor seating. Warm lighting welcoming ambiance Good music I am obsessed with this cafe.

Cute little café located right in the Old Quarter. You can sit either outside and watch the road, or head in the alley to sit in a beatifully decorated, air-conditioned place inside. Great place to get some breakfast or lunch!

We ate versions of the chicken/beef and tofu Bahn Mi here and it was pretty good, tasted different to the more traditional version though as this one had more sauce and complex flavours. The service was friendly (though a teeny bit slow) and the cocktails were good :)

So many bahn mi's to choose from yet they are all delicious. If you want a place with a variety of choices, a very friendly service and an awesome meal then this is the place to go. The price ranges from 15k to 40k depending on which one you get and the ingredients it has. Drinks are also really good although a bit more ranging from 25k - 60k. My recommendations: The egg special has a lot of different meats mainly different types of sausages and mixes well together, only costs 25k. The meatball and French fries, a different type for people wanting something new and adventurous. Costs 40k. The egg coffee has a beautiful presentation with a sweet taste. Egg coffees taste is not for everyone, it can be a bit too much. It costs 40k if you want to try it. Cinnamon tea with fresh orange is very refreshing and costs 45k.

This place is really hard to find. I stopped at one place that turned out to not be Bami An Bread and it was horrible. When I finally found Bami An Bread and hour after they were due to open, the owner had just arrived and politely said they won’t open for another hour. It’s just as well as I moved on to another recommended coffee shop which was excellent. I don’t remember the name but it is in my reviews too.

This place is a little gem in the heart of Hanoi's old town. The venue offers a very large selection of food and beverages of which are reasonably priced, presented immaculately and are full of flavour. The Egg Special Banh Mi, Spring rolls, Bun Bo, and Mango Ice Tea were just a few of our favorites. We decided to return a second time given the positive experience we had here. Staff are attentive and offer excellent service. Would recommend.

👍👍 Probably one of our most memorable meals was at this amazing restaurant in Hanoi. The service was excellent and so was the food. We loved the flavours and the cocktails were on point. The minimalist decor was really nice and spacious. We ended up ordering a lot of food and drinks as we were famished...
